How to Buy A Welcome Suica Card at Narita Airport Tokyo πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

Hello and welcome to Narita Airport. In this video, I’m going to show you how to buy a welcome Suica card after you have landed. Hi. Good. Is this the end of the line? I don’t know. Can you take me to Where are we going? I’ve just arrived at Narita Airport in Tokyo, Japan, and I’m through immigration. I am through pretty much everything really quickly. That was uh that was phenomenal. I did the the QR code, the Travel Japan where you do it ahead of time, and everything went really really fast. And I’m looking to find a welcome suica card now. And the welcome welcome sua card is one of the cards that you can use on trains in Tokyo. So you don’t have to buy a ticket every time. And it is for short-term visitors 28 days or less. So that works great for me on this trip. And there is the first Mario. Super cool. So, as you come out of immigration and customs, there’s lots of places you can get SIM cards. I actually got a eSIM for the very first time. And even though I’m not great at technology, I thought it wasn’t going to work. And sure enough, as we were pulling on the tarmac, I toggled it between a couple different providers and it worked. So, I’m uh very happy. So, I can skip the uh the SIM card line. Always trying to save a little bit of time if possible. And there is car rentals. Everything’s very organized. What I’m looking for is a welcome sua card. So this information center was super helpful and they mentioned just go downstairs for the welcome suica card and there are vending machines which I had heard you can buy it at the JR East ticket booth or you can buy it from the vending machine. And I wanted to try the vending machine. [Music] So downstairs are the many trains that you can use to get out of here. So, generally if you’re going to kind of tourist area, you’re going to take the Narita Express or the Skyliner. And the welcome speaker card doesn’t actually work on those, but it will work for most other metro subway urban type trains you’re you’re taking. Skyliner and Casey information center. So, if you’re taking the Skyliner, that’s where you would buy the ticket there. JR East Travel Service Center. Believe I can buy the welcome swe. I would like to find the uh the machine though if possible. It’s a kind of organized chaos down here, the Narita Express, one of the main uh trains. I’m actually want to I’m buying the Welcome Sua card. Not for necessarily this journey. I just want to have it while I’m in Tokyo. But actually, I’m going to be taking the Casey Sky access, which you actually can use the welcome suite card on, but most people will, cuz I’m going to the Tokyo suburbs. Uh, most people going to the main tourist areas though will be taking the Narita Express or the Skyliner, and I’ll be taking the sky access. There it is. Welcome suite. Please buy from the red machine over there. So these this uh ticket machine is right by all the other many ticket machines in the in the downstairs where you get trains. Welcome speaker is not refundable for 28 days. Choose your language. Set your Please select the desired charge amount. Please insert money for credit cards or balance. now under process. Thank you. Please take everything with you. Well, that was easy. That is exactly what I wanted to get. welcome card and looking at the receipt. So, it gives you an expiration date, 28 days from now and card balance 3,000 yen. So, the card itself doesn’t cost you anything as sometimes these train cards do cost you something or sometimes they’re refundable, but this one the whole 3,000 yen went right onto the card. So that’s uh how you buy a welcome speaker card at Maria airport.
