What does a Vegetarian Buffet look like in China?

What does a vegetarian buffet look like in China? This place costs $3 per person, and after paying, you’re given a card to go to a Subway style entrance. Inside, there are noodles, fried rice, and a huge variety of vegetables and dessert. My favorite was this mushroomshaped bun.

For just $3 per person, you get access to an all-you-can-eat vegetarian feast.
Inside, there’s an incredible variety of food: freshly made noodles, fried rice, a huge selection of stir-fried and steamed vegetables, and even desserts.

  2. After many years of being vegan, I developed pernicious anæmia. I had to get B-12 + Intrinsic Factor. My physician was from an Indian state that is 80% vegetarian, so he recognized the symptoms. Do those who always eat vegan recognize pernicious anæmia?

  3. There are vegetarian hot pot restaurants as well, I had tried one in Shanghai, about USD15 per person, it's really good and amazing.

  4. That's the place I want to go! Next year January, I will leave US to go to China! I hope Chinese Government gives me a long term visa so that I can enjoy China.

  5. In core non- veg countries like China or in the EU, it is doubtful whether veg is actually veg bcoz lard is used to fry the veges or even prepare a sandwich or pizza. Olive oil etc is just a drizzle on top at most shops.

  6. I would bet a $3 buffet is the result of the huge chinese food markets that not only boast competition but commonly host direct sales. IE the farmer and the person preparing the food are the only ones getting paid. When you don't have a bunch of middle men skimming cash from every transaction; $3 is reasonable.

  7. What I learned about china is it’s creepy and all anyone does on their free time is eat at restaurants. It this is true, sorry but you are in HELL. No joke break free❤

  8. This is sooooo good to know, people assume all Chinese are non vege even though there are sooo many Buddhists living non violent lives

  9. I saw this video…scrolled…then said wait…and came back to hear that if he said VEGETARIAN…I mean like that was kind of shocking but…still good though…
