On the 17th, Orix announced that coach Katsumi Mizumoto’s job title would be changed from traveling coach to traveling general coach.
Coach Mizumoto served as Hiroshima’s second-string manager and battery coach from 2007 to 2020, but has been Orix ‘s head coach since 2021, contributing to the team’s three consecutive league championships since that year. From next season, he will assume the role of traveling general coach.
