Village Alleys and Harbor Walk in the Rain | Awaji Island, Japan
Walking in the rain on a quiet morning in Iwaya, a small harbor village on Awaji, an island between Osaka Bay and the Seto Inland Sea, Japan. This little village is very close to the big cities of Kobe and Osaka on the mainland, but it feels a world away. It sits just beside Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, the second longest suspension bridge in the world, and is also connected by ferry, but walking the narrow alleys feels like stepping into a different era.

Not one of your best locations ..seems a lack of investment in the area ..some of the areas seem a little run down to say the least .. on saying that still a very fascinating insight to Japanese fishing ports and wonderful Japanese culture .. as always thank you for sharing this and braving the wet and dismal weather.. 🙏🏻👍
This tranquil 4K walk captures the deeply serene and beautiful atmosphere of the small coastal Japanese village. The rain sounds are incredibly peaceful. 🇯🇵🌧
What is the closest major city or landmark that a person traveling to Awaji Island would typically depart from?

No people walking around for 1 hours video.. looks like a ghosttown
I would go. If the weather was better more people would be out.
Thanks
