[Music] Hello everyone and welcome to Epic Universe. Epic Universe day one. It’s Benji’s first time in the park. We are so excited. It’s day one of the trip. First time going into Epic Universe. I’m really looking forward to being your tour guide. I’m looking forward to being guided. It’s going to be incredible. The weather’s looking lovely. It’s currently 7:00 a.m. We slept really well. Yeah. Well, we went to bed just after the water show last night, which we saw from our room. And then you woke up at 5:00 a.m. this morning. So, I was very excited. A little bit jetlagged, obviously. But we’re staying at the Helios Grand Hotel with a park view room. So, we can literally see it all. And the sun is rising and the day is about to begin. So, we are up early and we’re both really hungry because of the jet lag. So, we’re going to go down to the main restaurant, Flora Tivera, I think that’s called sounds right. Yeah. Uh where we’re going to go and have a bit of breakfast while we wait for our early entry. So, we can get into the park from 9:00 a.m. All the rides officially open and the park opens at 10:00. There are lots of ways you can sort of do things, but we’re here for 2 days and we do have express passes. We’ve decided we’re going to start a Super Nintendo World just because that is the one that he can actually physically see right now. We thought that could be the most like colorful and I want to build Benji up. So, if you have done Epic, you’ll know what I mean by that. But we’re going to get all your first reactions. We’re going to try and see a show cuz there’s two to see. We’re going to go and do some nice food. And we’re going to take a break this afternoon so that we can go all night because it’s open till 10:00 p.m. And I really want to do some of the rides at night. Yeah. It starts getting dark here around half 56ish, doesn’t it? So, yeah. Here’s our outfit of the day. I’m wearing a stripey green dress from Nobody’s Child. We’re kind of matchy matchy, aren’t we? We are. It’s so cute. And yeah, we’ve got comfortable trainers on. Look at us. Got my Adidas golf shorts and I got my Adidas golf polo. I want to be comfortable in the Florida heat. Yeah, it’s looking like a warm day. I absolutely love this lobby area for the elevators. Look at the screen. It’s so gorgeous in here. I’m so happy I chose to put us here. So, this is Aurora Market, which is like the grab and go. And then to the left, we’ve got the store, which is actually already open. This is the restaurant, Flora. So, we’re just going to see if we can grab some breakfast. They actually have a sunrise buffet for $36 each. Look how pretty it is as well. It’s a Mediterranean inspired restaurant. We did show a little bit in our travel day yesterday, but it’s so pretty. Look at the sun coming through. And then this lobby area as well. It’s so beautifully designed. I’m actually so impressed. Yeah. So, you can order from the menu, but uh we’re just looking and the buffet just seems like the best option for us. Let’s show you the buffet. It’s actually really quiet cuz we’re quite early and they’ve only just opened, but they’ve got juices included. I think I want to try this one. This one’s the coconut and pineapple. They’ve got Froot Loops. I absolutely love American Froot Loops. Okay, I’m probably going to start there, but I do also want to show you the rest. So, you got all your meats and cheeses, like continental, but look how beautifully it’s displayed with the cookbooks and it looks like very Mediterranean, obviously. I really love this like all the little details. And then this is the little omelet station. Oh, wow. Oh, they Oh, gorgeous. We have Oh, wow. Fresh scrambled eggs. Fluffy breakfast potatoes. I love breakfast potatoes. Yeah. Look at these tiny little mini. Oh, look. The little sauce. Oh, look at the little ketchup. Hinds. Oh my gosh, it’s tiny. Look how small that is. Oh yes. Crispy American bacon. I’m having some of that. Look at this. They have every variety of bread in a little drawer. This is so neat. Over in the middle here, they’ve also got some fresh fruit. And it does look really fresh. You know, sometimes when you come to a buffing, you’re like, that’s been sat there for hours. This just looks gorgeous. Like so appetizing. I’m so happy with my choices. Turkey, mushroom, onion, and cheese omelette. Yeah. Some breakfast potatoes, some like proper shrimp bacon, and some shuka, which again I’ve never had before. I’m joining Benji with a very similar breakfast, but mine is a ham and cheese omelette with the potatoes and the bacon. Did I need pancakes as well? No. Am I trying them for research? Yes. We are finished. I’ve just walked past a whole pastry section here. They got a vanilla chocolate chip thing. And then all your, you know, traditional pastries and muffins. Wow. Mini pan of chocolate. They’re so cute. Little snack bag while you’re waiting in the queue. Oh, we don’t have the snack bag. We need to go and get that. Okay, we’re going to come outside just to sort of have a little look and check the weather. See what we’re working with. Right. No spoily jokes. I can’t see without my sunglasses. This is for the first time you can see Stardust Races over there. Look how pretty. That is the Ministry of Magic. Most excited for today. Just seeing each individual lands, taking our time, really like immersing it and then being like, “Yeah, do you know I’ve had my fill in here. Let’s go on to the next place.” I’ve heard Stardust races are supposed to be amazing. Seeing it on the park, honestly, just all of it. If we didn’t do a single ride, I wouldn’t care. I just want to like absorb it all, you know? Yeah, me too. Don’t I want to do lots of rides, but you know what I mean. It’s 5 8 and they’re letting guests through the security already even though it says opens at 9 for guests. So they’re letting us in early queue for an hour. Well, just like that, it took like a minute to go through security and now we’re in. Okay. Yeah, we did just get a little bit too excited. They just hold you down the bottom here. Okay. Okay. We That’s fine. We can appreciate it all while we wait. Right. It’s 10 to 9. Everyone is power walking. Yeah, but we are just going to take our leisurely time. Well, the music’s so loud. This is glorious. Just want to like absorb it all, you know. I know. And do like, you know, we can go our own pace. Like, we’ve got express pass for a reason. We will do every ride. The instinct is to run and do things quickly, but we have to remember that a lot of people don’t have express, so that’s why they’ll do that. So, we’re going to walk straight past Dark Universe, heading straight over to Super Nintendo World. We’re going to start with a couple of rides in there. Wow. So, this is the rest of the hotel guests that have come in from the front. My god, it’s busy. Please, have those hotel room keys already. Please, look, we’re going into the tunnel. You know, you’re sucked in. You get the sound. Yeah. Okay, so we’re in the castle. Princess Peach’s castle. That’s so cool. Let’s get over here. Look. We’re going to go down. Isn’t it cool? Like even better than I thought it was going to be. Yeah. I thought it was just kind of going to be a wall in front of you. It’s like textured and layered. A flag at the top there where you slide down. Yeah. Mario’s flag. The detail is unreal. It’s just so cool. the music, the vibes. So, that’s the little Yoshi ride I was telling you about. I know. Um, but we’re going to go down where those people are going, and we’re going over there to start. Even like all around these corners that looks like we’re in the castle. So, this is where we can do meet and greets for characters. That’s the entrance to Yoshi’s Adventure. The one you can see up above. And we’re going to go into here into a land within a land. World within a world. A world within a world. Yeah. Donkey Kong Country. And again, it’s another like tunnel portal area that you walk in. I’m so excited for Benji, guys. When I came out here in April, I just could not stop thinking about him and how much he would enjoy every bit of it. And I know he appreciates theming and detailing the same way I do. And it’s why we love theme parks together as well. We have so much fun and our inner kids come out to play. And I think because Nintendo is so nostalgic for me, I played Mario Kart on the Nintendo DS and then on the Wii and now on my Nintendo Switch. And I love it. It’s one of those games that has just been consistently something I love from childhood right through adulthood. So seeing all of the like elements and the coins spinning and the um the different funnels, like it’s just so neat. So this ride is called Minecart Madness that we’re going to go on and it’s a two and two. So, like four people in a little cart and it feels like the cart is going off the tracks. So, if you’re standing and looking at the ride, it looks really cool. But actually, when you’re on it, it’s really fun. So, I thought it could be a good one for Benji to start with cuz it’s not my favorite, but it’s a good like feeler. And then we’ll go over and do the Bowser’s Challenge Castle one, which is like the Mario car ride they have in here, which is where you wear 3D kind of glasses. It’s like a hat that you put on. I’ll show you. Um, it’s going to be a fun day. I cannot wait. They also have water refill stations by these bathrooms. So, definitely note things like this. Bring your own bottle. And while we’re waiting for Benj, I just thought I’d show you some of the merch around here. So cute. I really want a little Yoshi. Actually, I’m still on the hunt for the little pink one, though. And I like the bag. Okay, they have a mystery pin set, which I would quite like to buy. Feel like we’ll get one of those at some point. All right, Donkey Kong. Let’s go. Yeah, this is just so cool. So that’s what we can see from our room. Your first box popping, mama. It saves a little sound. So I was lucky enough to just basically walk on every ride. So I haven’t done any of the cues. Oh, so that’ll be fun for you. New for me. So this is the queue. It looks so good. Oh my god. I’ve never seen announce that it is time to launch my heart. How cool is this? I would like him to make noise. There you go. He’s got an important nap to take. That was a total surprise for me. That’s so cool. It’s not just like his mouth moving and the chair’s moving. His like knees are moving, his ankles are moving, his arms moving. It’s so cool. If you think that’s a good animatronic, just use Oh, it’s so cool. See, this is the thing about why ride cubes do have importance because they immerse you in the story. They build up the experience. If you just jump on a ride without thinking about the storytelling behind it, then you lose being immersed in it. Do you know what I mean? So, yes, of course, no one wants to wait long. Please fill in all available space. What I was trying to say is that’s why we have express passes so that we can maximize our days. It is quart 9, so they’re letting us on already. [Music] Hey, I got the job. Woo! Yay! They got the golden banana. All right, first ride. That was a fun little one to start with. I thought you might think that. Yeah, the thing is is it’s better when you sit at the front because you can actually see the track, but you can’t choose. So, I’d love I’d love it if it was a little less jolty, very shaky, so you don’t like smoothly go around anything. But it’s meant to be a minecart. So, we also talked about this, but I don’t know if it like it’s meant to do that. Do you know what I mean? Well, mine carts stay on the tracks, don’t they? So, but it’s meant to be broken. Did you know it was going to go through here? That was horrible. You saw that bit. Yeah, it was cool. That was a good one to start. There’s also quite a lot of water fountains just like blended in places, which is good. Try playing the drums. Someone’s going to come out the box. Right, left. You got to do the You got to So, you have to hit the drums at the right beat and then it once all three are done. Here you go. That’s done. And then Yay! Woohoo! Yay! Come on. That was fun. That was fun. Okay. Oh, look. It’s a plane. Should we have a look at it? Yeah. It’s called Funky’s Flying By. Oh, that’s so cool. I don’t even think I registered that that was a plane last. That’s so good. We’re just having a little look at some of the pins. I think we’re going to go for this one. It’s so cool. Benji always buys me my first pin. I love it. That a fun one. Yeah, that was fun. First ride, first pin. All right, so overall, what do you think of Donkey Kong Country? It’s just all really cool, isn’t it? Yeah, really cool. Come up, get your coins. Yay. That’s enough. That’s enough. Right, we’re going on the little Yoshi one. This is 10 minute way. We can go with that. I haven’t done this yet. My first time riding this, too. This is so stinking cute. Oh my god. Even though this was only a 10-minute wait, I decided to use our express pass because we’re not likely to do this again. Just get it washed off. Yeah. Oh, the detail. Look at that. That’s so cute. That’s the map we’re going. We got a pink Yoshi. It’s a little twoperson ride this which is cute. And you’ve got little buttons in front of us here. So yours are glowing, mine are not. When we see these colored eggs around, you have to press the right ones. Oh, Yoshi’s tongue will go out and get the egg so we can collect the golden egg. Should we one more time? I thought you were. You meant to do it yourself. No idea. Yes. Once again, I don’t know if any of the sounds are the right ones. I just know the bank of sounds. I don’t know who they are from. I’m building you up. You see, I’m building you up to some biggy rides later. Get all the big ones over. Then the first two of the morning, these two and we’ll do some slow pokes in the afternoon. Get adrenaline over and done with. Yeah. Didn’t want to. I thought we’d go in high. Yeah. Look at the view. Oh, look. Wait for the baddies. This is adorable. I love it. I love it. The sky as well is a paid actor. It is pure blue sky. Oh my god, I love it. Oh, this little dude is throwing at us. Oh, that’s why I imagine the baddies and pork winner. Yeah, same. There’s another little red egg. So, you have to press the red button and it works. Yay. I love this. I don’t even know where to look. There’s so much going on. So colorful. Thanks to you, we found the golden egg. Yay! We did it. Woohoo! Oh, we both said that at the same time. This might be broke of me to say, but I liked No, I liked that more than minecart madness. Yes, same. Right now, a shop break. A ride and then a shop. Moochin. Moochin. Oh, that’s so cute. Wait, I like the pink one. Oh my god, I want the pink one on my shelf. That’s That’s coming home with me. That is so cool. Oh, it goes around the back. I love that. Oh, it says Boo on that one. That’s the hoodie. I prefer the t-shirt. That’s really nice. This shop is so much fun to look around. Look, he’s in his element. Look at him. What has he got? It’s a popcorn bucket. I thought you could use a lunch box afterwards. I thought it would like Yes, because you’re in the market for a lunch box. Benj, look that little toad we liked on the ears yesterday. Much cuter. I love that. I feel like that would look good cuz you’re a little chef. I collect pin badges. So, I’m just having a little look. Last time I bought this one. This one as well. I think I was ing and aaring between that and I got that one. And oh, did I get that one? I think I might have got that one. Every time we say we should take a picture of the pin board. Update it before we go. I know. We always forget. Oh, I like these though. These little Hot Wheels cars. Let’s see. Peach would look good on the shelf. I absolutely love the earrings. Like, how adorable would those look? The little stars. I really love this cup. It’s got a really nice texture around it and then it says Super Nintendo World on the other side and it’s really big. Very nice. $35 though. Oh my god, I turned around for two seconds. Chef Toad, he’s cutting blood supply off the top of my head. It looks good. That is so cool. That’s the seat belt. Oh my god, I’ve never seen that before. Oh yeah. If you were a kid and that was your school bag. Yeah. Please fasten your seat belts. $15 pen. But look at that. Worth it. I love Look at the stars even in the railings. So cool. Been in the shop, purchased some merch. I will do a haul where I show you everything. I love this song. Isn’t it so good? We’re going to go over to Bowser’s Castle now. Our next ride. Wow. Oh, it’s a 90minute way. It’s called Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge. How cool. I didn’t see this last time. That is so good. It’s huge. Raar. Did you just say raar? This is so cool. It really does feel like you’re inside the castle. Look at all of this. I love this. Look at the doors. They’re gigantic. Look how big it is. No way. Oh, these are the cups on the left as well, babe. Yeah. Look or like the piss the piston cap and all that. Not a piston cap. That’s the cup. I know. That’s so good. You love a library. You do love a life. Oh, is that the track? Rainbow Road. That’s so good. It just keeps getting bigger. This is so cool. I’m going to see this. This is so cool. I had no idea that it was like this inside. Yes, it’s an ER headset. So, we’re going to pick up our headset. So, here’s our hats. Yeah, they are. They’re interesting. Oh, look. Oh my goodness. It’s the reporter for the Mario Kart game. No, I don’t want to alarm you. I don’t know how many. Yes, don’t worry. You get given them. They’re actually in your seat. Wow. That’s M for marvelous. That is a big time. I’m having the best day. I’m so glad. I am so happy to just be with you and also having the time to go through each area. Do it calmly. Yeah. Benji just pointed out that the little characters look like the Miis in Nintendo Wii. Oh, they’re gone now. Guys, Mario Kart is literally my favorite game ever. This is so exciting. Oh my god, look at this. Benj, this is so cool. The racing suits. Oh my god, I love this. Look at Yoshi’s eggs. [Music] Oh, that is just so amazing. It says, “Welcome to Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge.” That’s like all like NASCAR or Formula 1 sponsorships around the top. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Look, the little go-karts. Oh yeah, they look so good. I love it. It is pretty much impossible for me to film this because I need to concentrate and play the game. But the visor magnets to this part, so you basically see like a screen in front of you and you have the track. So I found it confusing to decide if I was going to look at the screen or the track, if that makes sense. Oh my gosh, we was on the ride. That was fun. I felt like for the first 30 seconds, I had no idea what was going on. Insane. Um, and then once I kind of sustain [Music] it without the game element because I actually really want to appreciate all the be theming. So basically because you can see something on the screen, but also around you, the surroundings are I have no idea what we went through. I was just clumsy looking for characters. I know. So, I I really like it. I think it’s what you make it. If the gaming element is more important to you, then focus on your visor, but if the theming and immersing yourself in the world is more important, then maybe just don’t bother. I think it’s perfect for everyone. These are great. It is great. And I can see why it’s so popular. And I can see why people want to queue up long for it cuz it is a good one. But we exited through a gift shop. So, let’s see this one. And obviously, most importantly, I won champion. I got 151. You got what? One. Yes. And also auntie back after you’ve touched all these things. We are constantly using this. Cannot live without it. [Music] I want a picture. You could spend hours and hours exploring around here. So much fun. There are so many mini games that you can play, but you do have to have a power up band to do them. And lots of people are queuing for them, which is wild, isn’t it? They’re all empty this morning, so definitely come here first thing. Yeah. Or we can try again tonight. So, I’d like to see it all lit up at night. All right, last part of Super Nintendo World before we move on. Did you just go to kiss him? This shop is so pretty. So, I wanted to make sure we went in here, too. The stained glass windows. And they have to look up as well. Benj, come and look up here. You miss things. Oh, so cool. Isn’t it cool? Yeah, it’s so pretty. Look. I love it. Why do I love this? I love that, too. I’m starting to catch your Oh, that would go on my bookcase. It would look good on the bookcase cuz it looks like a fake plant. Obviously, he’s not wrong. It would look cute though, wouldn’t it? This is such a gorgeous shot. Look, that’s a fun thing. You got to stack the Yoshis. Oh, that is fun. Oh, I like that. In case you were interested in getting a powerup band, these are the different designs. I really like the toad one, the white, and this like flower one is cute. Yeah. What have you got on your back? Oh my god. How cool is that? That does look really good. Oh no. I actually love it. Then there’s not a chance I can wear it in this weather. Wait, you got to see it. Wo. I actually I’m actually here. Yeah. He’s even got little ginger tufties. Look. Yeah, he does. You’re Bowser. This is really nice in here. It’s all quiet. Just having a little mooch. And we have found out that they only have the yellow Yoshies in stock at the moment. So that’s a shame. and then we’ll sort out all the other colors. So, it is 11:00 and we’re going to take Benji to Isle of Burke. So, how to train your dragon. Are you hungry or would you like to get a snack in the B? I think we do bit more. Do we do stardust? Oh, okay. Yeah, we could do Burke and then eat once we’ve done some big rides. That’s true. Yeah. You fancy a big roller coaster before we go in another cuz once we’re in, we’re a bit immersed then. Okay. So, that’s uh decided. We’re going to go and do Stardust Racers. Get a roller coaster in now. It’s not too crowded either. Look at this wide open path. Very manageable, isn’t it? Yeah. I feel like we bashed out Super Nintendo World in about 2 hours. Not too bad. That was slow. We were just plotting. We weren’t trying to rush through it. Yeah. Oh, so cool. I’m excited for you to do this. I’m excited for me to do this. Okay, so if you don’t know, Stardust Racers is a jeweling coaster. There are two tracks, yellow and green. I cannot remember for the life of me which one I liked more, but you want to do both. Here we go. It’s coming around. So, you can see they’re racing each other and then they cross. So cool. It’s a very good coaster. It says just lose yourself among the stars and dance across the edge of night. You’ll catch a comet in its flight. So, this is what it looks like. The you put your bags in your lockers. We’re just waiting here at Express to be let through and we will report back after. Haven’t decided which track we’re doing. Green or yellow. Big fast. You want one, please? We’ve just got the ride. We’ll talk about it in a second, but they have a photo validation thing. So, basically, it scans your face. You don’t need any cards. It’s so good. And the good thing about these lockers is that they’re bigger than over in the other two parks. So, you’ll be able to bring a rucks sack pretty easily. They’re much more generous in size. Oh my gosh, I look so vexed. Look at our faces. That’s incredible. Oh, you you don’t look very happy. I still I’m squinting tonight. The sunset right. Yeah. Okay, guys. We’ve done the ride. We went in the yellow one. Yeah. Did about 20 minutes, I think, total. So, it was quite fast. We did lockers and all that stuff. Yeah. Everyone was coming in the green, so we just went to the left for the yellow. We just happened to get front row. You can’t request it. So, it was just a complete fluke. And I spoke it out to the universe. I love manifesting things. I was like, I’d love the front brother front row. We love it. And then the lady was like, “How many name?” We said two. And she’s like, “Wait, there.” And we went, “Oh my god, front row.” And then can we start manifesting more higher value things, please? Cuz you got a million pound. A million pound. So we did front row for Benji’s first time. It was so intense. It was so good. My eyes were streaming. I really like it as a as a coaster. The first after the launch and the first like loop bit, it was so good that I almost didn’t like it. It’s actually a bit scary, I think, because you’re only in a lap bar, which I know you are for Veloci Coaster, but I prefer Velocity Coaster. I don’t know what it is about it, but I was expecting it. Is there no point from anywhere else? Can you see the scale and the the first bit? So, I didn’t know what to expect and like, oh, okay, we’re getting over Nope, we’re going over the top of it. Did you like the jeweling like Yeah. Yeah, it was fun. And the racing the other car. Yeah, I I really really enjoyed that. I really want to do it at night. I think that would be a big game changer. But now we’ve done it front row. I feel like that ticked off, satisfied. But I’m glad we’ve done that now cuz I think we were we were building up to an adrenaline rush there. The only like negative is there once you do the first loop and you get over to the back of the coaster, there’s no theming. There’s no land. It’s just wasteland before you get to your industrial unit or whatever it is over there. That’s a shame, but hopefully in a in a few years they expand or they put something there at least. We’ll report back when we do it at night as well. But uh yeah, amazing amazing coaster. And now it’s time to go to How to Train Your Dragon, the aisle of Burke. There is a show at 12:00. What time is it? 22. So, should we try and see? Should we try and get the show? Yeah. Let’s go. Now, if any of you watched my Universal Epic Universe vlog from April, you’ll know that this show made me cry. We, my friends, have dragons. That’s what Hiccup says. And this is a quote that he says at the beginning of the movie. It’s like, you know, at the beginning where he goes, “This is Burke. The service here saw the cuisine’s fiery and the locals are as colorful as you get. This is our paradise. Life here is amazing, but not for the faint of heart. We have dragons. Lots and lots of dragons. [Music] So cool, isn’t it? Walk over to there and have a little look. It really looks like it looks like there’s a coaster in here as well, which you might have seen the track for. Yeah. Isn’t it coaster? Yeah. I can’t wait for us to do that. It’s so good, isn’t it? The scale, the force. Is it force perspective? And then Yeah. All the different areas that we’ll go and look through. [Music] There’s a lot of people getting ready to go see this. There is an express line, so we’re just trying to find the entrance for that. But look how pretty it is. Oh, they’re letting us in first before everyone else. Well, that’s a bit nice, isn’t it? So, this is the stage and we can see drums here and over there. Nice little stage. Percussion. Percussion. All right, let’s do this. Untrainable dragon. So good. This is so good. So good. And you know, I’m not going to put anything of the show in cuz I don’t want you to see it. I don’t want you to know. I want you to come and experience it for yourself because it’s so magic. It made me cry again. And we were talking about I didn’t think it was going to make me cry cuz I knew it was going to happen. I talked about this last time but like the magic of theater I think it is for me. Yeah. You takes you back to the first time you saw that sort of thing happened in theater and you’re like when when I was a kid I’m like wow. And then even now it just takes you back to being a kid and it’s it was fun. It was fun. It’s really fun. The tech’s fun. The animatronics are really good. The animatronics are incredible. I love the little stage with the the little fighting bit and one of the guys like swung down and leave the podium and they swung around and they use screens while they’re fighting. So glad you’ve seen it. I loved it. It was so good to see it again. Just about time of the day as well just for a little sit down for 20 minutes. Just needed a moment to just bring us like back down after Stardust. If that is the standard of shows that they are able to deliver in theme parks, then I am so Yeah. Like what are they going to do? How are they going to improve things? What are they going to do in the future? Like if there is a wicked world and they did something with that, I just I think of the possibilities and it excites me and I just feel so lucky that we live in a world where we get to experience this or we get to see the work and passion, dedication that people have put into making something so real, like look so real come to life. Like I just I think it’s amazing. So we’re now deciding whether we would like to do the ride. I think we do the ride cuz we don’t want to do lunch and then the ride. We want to slow down and have a bit of food. Oh, that little dragon just came out the hole. And then look at this one here. He’s snoring. That’s you on the plane yesterday. You on the plane. So good. You could spend ages just looking at all the little details like all the little maps and things. It’s so good. Look how cool this area looks. We haven’t done Oh, I haven’t done this thing here, but I think we’ll do Hiccup swing gliders next. It’s a 70minute wait. Oh, there it is. We’ve got Express. So, let’s give this a go. So, this is a familyfriendly coaster, and it’s actually one of my favorite rides in the park. The music, the way it like goes under the bridge and the water. It’s really, really good. Drink up. Stay hydrated. Thank you for carrying the water bottle. Oh, Ryan just went behind you. Oh, all right. Hiccups. Swing Gliders, the roller coaster. That was fun. It was like nice and smooth, wasn’t it? Smooth. Lots to look at. Some really good belly drops. And I loved having the sounds and his like little commentary as well. Yeah. Some animatronics, some little surprises, the water ticks a lot of boxes. I do want to do that at night. Yes. Yeah, I agree. I actually love this little thing. I think that would look really cute in my little pink room. I love this tote bag. It’s actually lovely quality. It’s got long straps, but it is $40. It’s got a couple color sections in it as well. I really like it. Wow. Why would this look so good skiing? Skiing. It’s the braids, the plats that do it for me. This is Dragon Racers. It’s a 50minute wait. Okay, that’s the only ride that doesn’t have express. So, that’s good to know. Right, we need to get some food now. I think have a look. We’ll see what they have. I want the the mac and cheese co. there. Now, I have done us a mobile order, which is so easy on the app. It’s at Spitfire Grill, I think it’s called. So, this is how busy it is. We just go straight to a pickup window, I believe. Right. We’ve got a seat. We’ve got our food. We went for the $20 refill Coca-Cola freestyle cup because it’s $5 for a single or 20 and you can just get refills on it. So, we have got Stoics State. That was $20. Yeah. And then we have we have a classic mac and cheese cone which has got these fishy things on there. Golden fish. That is. Yeah. Also, what they have here is is in each different world at the Coca-Cola freestyle machines. Each world has its own special drink. So, we’re going to try them today as well, just for a bit of funsies. Okay. Yeah. Oh, wow. Just had my first mouthful of this. It’s really nice. It’s got steak, mushrooms, butternut squash, rice, and then this is almost like a burger sauce. It’s really, really good. I don’t think it needs the batters in my mouth. I’m just picking off that. I don’t think I’ve ever had one of these. Is it carbs and carbs and carbs and carbs? It’s a bit Yeah, it’s carb heavy. Everyone raves about it. It’s fine. Yeah, that’s really flavorful. I don’t know what I expected, but this mac and cheese cone thing is not worth the hype. But that steak should be hyped. This is so flavorful. With the theme park adjustment, that’s a nine out of 10 for me. For theme park food. For theme park food. Yeah. Obviously, don’t compare it to a restaurant food, but like that’s really that’s everything I would want in a little theme park lunch. I totally agree. This is gorgeous. We also ate at our hotel pool at the Helios Hotel last night and that was amazing. We just had a look through cuz we’re still wanting something else because we haven’t quite finished the mac and cheese thing. So, we just shed the steak. We’re looking at this this jack of potato bacon thing. And this is at the Burning Blade Tavern. The drink in Isa Burke is called Dragon Splash. You try Oh, it’s it’s green. That’s nice. I couldn’t possibly tell you what flavor that is. I was about to ask what flavor. That’s nice. Oh, it’s fizzy. Very citrusy kind of flavor. It’s a green lime flavored soda exclusively at the cocoon free style. It’s a Spritebased drink with strong lime flavor. Sometimes described as a lime popsicle. It’s half past 1. We are going to go and pick up our potato. There’s so much to still look at around here. We’ve definitely not covered enough. We need to come back. But we want to take a break and we’re not going to do Dark Universe fully. We’re just going to go and get the potato. The plan is to do that later at night. I love when you walk into the portals and they have the screens. It looks so pretty. Did you enjoy Burke? I really enjoyed Burke. Yeah. Yeah. On that bench, we realized that the bottom of the skin has been like smoked, which is giving it’s like Well, it’s just the skin, but it’s just whereas been on the griddle or whatever, it hits like the back of your throat, but when you actually get the potato and the um cream cheese and bit of the bacon, like the middle bit, it’s actually a little bit nicer. Still only a six. Wouldn’t go out my way for it. What’s this one called? Dark Universe. This is called Screaming Berry. Okay, that sounds nice. Tastes like Hold to P. Oh, was it very red? Is it here? That is so good. So, when I filled my cup up earlier, I spoke to a guy in the queue and I said, “How does how was the Burke Island Burke one taste?” He said this one was his favorite. Yeah, that was really good. Yeah, that is that is cherry. Very cherryaty, isn’t it? Yeah, I like that. What do you think of Dark Universe? I know that we’ve like whizzed through it, but just on in spookier than I thought it was going to be. Bit scarier. Yeah, I bet dark. It is actually pretty spooky. Yeah. I’m excited for you to do Monsters Unchained. Okay, good ride. And then to the right here, we have Curse of the Werewolf, which is like a roller coaster thing, but it’s not running right now. It seems to be down. And then there’s a couple more restaurants and shops all through here, but we’ll give this a go later. So, park it. You’ve seen it in the day. Forget it. We turned all the lights off, shut the curtains, and I could just vaguely hear in the background this like the hum of the noise like the theme park sounds and the music and um went into such a deep sleep that at 5, Benji was rubbing me awake like, “Come on, time to wake up.” And I was like, “Why?” I thought I really truly thought it was the next day. And now the sun is setting and it’s so pretty outside. Oh my goodness, it looks so cute. And actually, you can see the um Teraluna and Stellanova hotels from here, too. So, I thought I’d point those out because if you were looking for a hotel that was near Epic Universe, I think these two are perfect options. We still need to go back to Dark Universe, which is this section here. And then we are also going to go over to the Wisdom World of Harry Potter, the Ministry of Magic, which the entrance is there. Are we going to do there first? Um, up to you, actually. Maybe. Yeah, cuz I think Dark Universe would be really cool at night. Yeah, night night. Night night at night night like dark. Yeah, I agree. Um, but also I do want to eat dinner over in Harry Potter. So, are you feeling up for some food at some point? We’ll do a ride first. We’ve added little Toad to Benji’s rocket. Chef Toad. Chef Toad because Benji’s the chef of our house. He cooks all of our meals every day. So, it just is the most apt. I am wearing the exact same outfit as earlier. I just really zoned out. Right, let’s go. The sun is just setting and the temperature is perfect. Time to go in the wisdom world of Harry Potter, the Ministry of Magic. We’re going into Paris. It says, “For in dreams we enter a world that is entirely our own.” And then Benj look all the way to the top. The wand at the very top. Yeah. So when we were in Paris 6 months ago and I told you said look at this sign and remember when we get to I did the Metropolitan the metro. Oh pretty garden odd. That’s where we were. And that’s where we that’s where we stayed in. Yeah. It’s funny, isn’t it? I think you’ll really appreciate the theming. You can’t see any of this from our room either. Oh, that’s so cool. We’re in Paris. Oh, they they they’ve done such a good job. Isn’t it amazing? Oh, the posters, the street lamps. I’m glad you’ve seen it this time. Actually, the Angler building is where the the streets finished. Yeah, this restaurant, the cafe on the left. This is where I would like us to eat. But all the lights look so gorgeous. I’ve not seen it lit up like this. So, I’ve got my wand out, which is also my new pointer. This here is the show. So, we’ll save that for tomorrow. Okay. But this is not to be missed. We’ll talk about that tomorrow. All the little shops. And then you look up all the detailing down to the type of trees and the decorations, the lights, the signs, even all the like posters. Can you see everything? It is so so well detailed and done that you really feel so immersed. And I I appreciate that is the point, but it really is so cool. Feels like you are in Paris. Very very cool, isn’t it? Nice just to walk around, isn’t it? I know. Just at our own little leisurely pace, I think, as well because you can’t see any of this from the room. It is all like, “Oh, wow. We’re in a whole other area. Do you want to go in any of the shops?” Yeah, just put this on. Okay. This one is an Epic Universe exclusive wand. Wow, it’s so pretty. Wow. And then you can get the stand for it, too. That That would look so cool. That would look cool. Oh, wow. Oh, yeah. That is really cool. Oh, I like that. It’s a cute bag. You’ll be tearing around the house with one of these. Really? It lights up. A Nimbus 3000. I want to point out some cute things. This love this like rugbyesque shirt. This little bag. Love. Also love this too. I think that would look really nice with a pair of like little shorts. Broen sniffed out a tape bag. That’s really nice. $40 as well. Also like the t-shirt. Yeah, like the black and gold’s nice, isn’t it? Yeah. The ride in here is Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. And it is mindblowing. Not going to talk about till we get off. It’s 140minute wait, but we have express. Here we go. That’s so cool. I didn’t know it’s going to be this big. Yeah, the scale is insane. Don’t feel you have to rush through if you want to like look at everything and soak it up cuz there’s a lot of detail. Did you see the big gold statue as well at the back in the middle? Look at this under here. I should have timed it. It’s just gone 6:00, so we’ll see how long it takes. It does not look like a stream. I know. Actually, just looks like a poster. So clever. You’re fully walking through the ministry. It’s insane, isn’t it? This is looking very nice for Express Forest, though. So, so cool. I think he’s really excited cuz he just keeps moving. I said, “You can stop and soak it up if you want, babe.” Even the board here, like the posters, everything’s moving on there too, which is really clever. With our express, 5 minutes straight through. 140 minute waiting with the express straight on. And we actually missed going into Umbrage’s office where there’s a really cool animatronic. I want to be GC, but obviously not complaining. Rather just go straight on the ride. We won’t be able to film it. So, we’ll see you on the other side. This is what the loading area looks like. Lots of different lifts. We’ll get told where to go. This is what the ride vehicle looks like. Kind of looks a little bit like Tower of Terror, but if you don’t like Tower of Terror, don’t worry. It hasn’t got the big drops. Oh my days. Like what? I’m so happy that we can talk about it now. I’ve been sat on that since April. Like, and that first big actual room you go into just blew my mind. You are wet yourself. Don’t just look at my face, Benji. He literally went, “Wow.” He was like, his jaw was to the floor and it was such a joy to watch. The animatronics are insane. I genuinely was like looking to see. I know. That’s definitely an actor. The clarity of the screens as well. I think really helps make it. It’s hard if if you haven’t done it, it’s hard to explain it because it’s just there’s nothing like it. Not comparable. The scale is mindblowing cuz I think the scale in this ride queue alone is cool and then the ride itself you think it just can’t get any bigger and better and then it does. And I think the the way that they’ve been able to create something so unbelievably like immersive and vast like you say is and even like the ride vehicle there’s so much movement in the actual ride vehicle itself but there’s no sudden drop. It is quite a lot of jump but it’s not like terror drop. So, if you don’t like that, like I don’t, um, don’t worry. I still really enjoy it. It’s not scary. It’s I think it’s like It’s clever, isn’t it? It’s got to be the best of that ride type in the world. It’s up there in my top three, maybe top five. Like, it is one of the best rides I’ve ever been on. Ever. Ever. Like, it is just amazing. I feel like the next couple of times we go on it, we’ll notice different things that we didn’t this time. Yeah. Yeah. I’m so happy you’ve done it. When you exit, you still get the chance to enjoy all of this area. So, you can still take your time looking at everything. Ben, should we take some pictures in here? Maybe going to get a picture of I don’t recall any of this from the builds. So, I loved it. Even just the ride. Yeah. So, this restaurant is mobile order, but it’s table service, so you scan the QR code and then you pick what you want and pay for it. So, add in the French onion soup when you see it. Definitely want to try that. And when you see the kiche, I would like to try that as well. So, this menu is pretty nice. There’s loads of really good things on here, but like I said, I want to try the kiche and the French onion soup. I think we’re going to both enjoy that. So, we’re just going to share, see how we feel, and then we’re going to get a frozen butterbeer cuz amazing. Well, we’ve had a frozen butterbeer many a time. We like the frozen one more than the normal one. You got to be careful with brain freezer. Yeah, especially when it is a bit chilly, like with the AC. It’s the eyes closing. Oh, you know when you like you love something and you hope it’s going to be as good as you remember cuz it’s been a little while and you’re like, “Yeah, it is. Yeah, it is. It is better in the sunshine outside.” True, true, true. But in terms of flavor, well, we’ll be able to compare now, won’t we? Like, is it that lovely like caramelly butterscotch like like a Worther’s original has been melted into a drink. We are going to order the butterbeer crepe after. cuz we have to try that. Oh my goodness, this looks so good. It’s a chunky kiche. Chunky kiche. French onion soup. Looks good. Look at that. That’s a lot of nice cheese. Bit of side salad. And then Yeah. I’m going to let you know how the kiche is. But it’s got like a nice thick sauce. Oh, wow. That is really yummy. Flavorful, isn’t it? Yeah. The sauce is really thick. Yeah, it’s really nice. It’s nice. All right, I’m going to try the French onion soup now. Yeah, I like that. You know what? I like them both, actually. The kiche would make a really nice light lunch. Okay, we’re giving the kiche an 8 out of 10. The French onion soup an 8 and a half. They were both really good. Yeah, I didn’t love the kiche as much, but the soup was really nice. Yeah, very nice. So, now we’ve ordered perp right, our craps are here. We’ve got one each because we thought they’d be really good. Um, but what surprised us is the plate is freezing, so they’re they’re actually cold. So, I don’t know why we uh we waited. Thought they’d be warm. Oh, guys, these are good. I don’t know if you can like appreciate this, but it’s thick. I do wish they were warm, though. Okay, we have polished off the craps and decided 7 and 1/2 with some debating. We’re about to do the first little bit of pre-show. And this is the ride vehicles. That’s what it will look like. It’s like Forbidden Journey inside the castle, the Hogwarts castle if you’ve been on that rock before. But I prefer this. It’s so much better. The technology is better. [Music] I am. The ride tech was really cool and the animatronics were very good. just not my not my type of writing. It’s not really horror people. It’s not scary. It probably is for kids, but just not my interest in terms of the storytelling. I think it’s impressive that they’ve been able to make like a an old IP and blend it and amalgamation different stories. Yeah, I do think that’s cool. And the animatronics in it are insanely impressive. I think it’s very good and I think it’s worth waiting a while for it. Yeah, it’s good. It’s a one and done. One and done for you. You’re not that bothered about repeating it tomorrow. That’s totally fair enough. It’s good to know your thoughts on one of these rides. How you feeling about Stardust? Yeah. Yeah. You got a bit of energy in here. Stardust to the night. Okay, let’s go. I actually prefer Dark Universe just in general at night. It looks so good. It’s so creepy and fun. We thought the little werewolf one was cute earlier. There are so many others. Look at Frankenstein. How do they make something so creepy look so cute? Oh, that’s so cute. Got little teddies. Yeah, they have these blind boxes in quite a few of the different shops. And they have a little display so you can see what you could potentially get, which is cool. In this shop, they actually have a whole like face painting studio. You can transform yourself. Well, someone can transform you, obviously. Uh, that’s really cool. This is going to be us in the next 20 minutes. Look how cool this is. It goes around and then inside and then it does the launch in there. Very cool. Wait time is 25 minutes, but we’ve already done express today. So, we are going to Cuba, but I don’t think it’ll be too long. Oh my goodness, that was so intense. First of all, we went to green so we could do the other one and it broke down. So, we had just the just the green side. We had such a smooth day. Yeah. We made a friend in the queue cuz we were standing there for a while. So yeah, we had such a smooth day. Nothing had broken down, but these things happen. It is right at the end of the day. Um but they were still running the yellow. So what they ended up doing is every other alternating. By the time we got on it, we end up waiting about 45 minutes. It was quite long. I think both of us were really tired. So when we got on it, it just suddenly felt really intense. I think my I was so uh adrenaline fueled for it and then that slowly dwindled. And then by the time I got on it, my god, it was so intense. I love it though. It’s really good. It was cool at night seeing the part lit up on the ride. I know we can see it from the room, but it was really good. We l got 1 minute to spare to get a little spot for the show. Water show. Greetings travelers. It feels like we’ve been here for like 3 days. Yeah. Before we wrap it, Bench. Favorite rides? Stardust, Harry Potter, Harry Potter, and the the Toothless Winged Winged Adventurers or something. Whatever. Uh, hang on. Wing Gliders. That one. Those three. Did you have a favorite world? It’s of Burke and it’s Super Nintendo World. Yeah. Oh, well, we’ll get your final thoughts tomorrow. So, I have no idea how much it cost cuz that’s not my remmit. But I feel like we’ve we’ve made great usage of our um express. Yeah, we used every pretty much all the rides. We used it. Obviously, we came back for 2 hours to use a pool. We could have done the whole park in one go easily. Yeah, it was amazing. But we’ll carry on filming tomorrow, so we’ll see you again then. Night. Good morning. It’s day two in Epic Universe. The sun is shining. I’m very much looking forward to today. We both slept really well. managed to sleep until 7:00 a.m. and I’ve written a list of everything we need to do today. So, you’re going to be coming along with us. We need to take a photo at the entrance. Benji hasn’t seen the portal Cronis thing. So, do want to do that. We want to go to the main gift shop. We’ve got a few food places. Pizza Moon, Oaken Tavern, Blue Dragon, and Toad Store Cafe. Won’t be eating like full meals at all those. It might just be that we pop in, see the menu. If there’s a snack we want to try, we will. We want to go to Bar Helios, which is up on the top floor of this hotel. In Burke, we still need to do the two of the rides. Fire drill if we want to, but it’s a water ride, so we’re kind of like parking it as a maybe. We’ll see. We’ll see. But we definitely want to do Dragon Racers Rally. That’s the only ride that’s not on the express pass. We also want to meet Toothless, do the green on Stardust Racers, see the Harry Potter show, and do Nintendo at Night. Big old list. Obviously, we want to repeat the rides that we loved, like the Harry Potter one, of course, Hiccups Wing Gliders. Benji would like to do Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge one again now that I know what I’m supposed to do and I’d like to do it without any glasses on in all honesty cuz I want to appreciate all of the inside of the ride. Yeah, we’re just going to basically see how we get on. We are going to take another break again. That worked really well for us. Tomorrow I’ve scheduled a full day off for us. We are going to be moving hotels and we’re going shopping. So, we’re not going to be doing a full vlog from that, but I am going to do like a shopping guide and talk you through like our haul and like where we go and what we like. I’m thinking there is absolutely no point of getting down there any earlier than like 22. Well, no. Yesterday was fine cuz we were just right there. But I agree it’s not actually a massive line, although yes, there’s a lot of guests. So, this is what we mean. This is the entrance to the hotel like in here. So you go all along here, cross the bridge, and then they start holding people here. But the good thing about this is if you want to go and do the Ministry of Magic, I don’t know if you can see, it’s literally there. So you can basic you basically first dibs first on. Here’s our little outfits of the day. We are kind of coordinated pink and pink. Got our trainers. I’ve got this dress is really old from River Island. Unilay little bum bag. Got a little care bear on today. Okay, so they let Helios guess in at 10 to 9. We just started walking towards Burke and there was probably like a hundred people walking towards us. More than that, but no one’s gone into Burke and no one from Helios has gone into Burke either. Everyone’s gone to Super Nintendo World or Harry Potter. So, we decided to do Stardust first. We couldn’t see either of the Islands of Burke rides going. So, I don’t know if that does just open at 10:00. I have no idea. We just don’t know that. So, let’s get on a ride that we know we want to do. Yeah. So quiet. I love this time of the day before everyone comes in. This feels a bit scary to do first thing in the morning, but I feel like let’s just get it out of my system. Haven’t had any breakfast either, so we haven’t eaten anything. Is that it? It is 8:53. Everywhere is so beautiful. I agree. The landscaping, I know I’ve said this with all the trees. I love all the street. It’s so nice. 100%. That was absolutely worth it. It was complete walk on for us. And there was hardly anyone in our actual car. Yeah, our car was only half full. It was so good. We did the green finally. They say that they’re both exactly the same. I completely disagree. I think green is definitely a smoother, not as intense. I don’t know what it is, but the yellow is like up and over. So, it’s feels so much tighter. Yeah. Wild. So, it just depends on uh what you want. I think I would always go green first and then build to yellow. Okay. So, Burke doesn’t open till 10:00 and it’s only 5 9. So, we’re actually just coming up to the entrance to the park to do some of the shops while they’re quiet. Sensorium Emporium. Northstar wintry wonders. Does it smell nice? Ooh, cinnamon. Look how cute that cardigan is. My god, that is adorable. I love that. This little desk says Elf on Duty. We also like this Lego Toothless. We’re really into Lego at the moment. Benji just built the Pixar ball. That would be very good. On the other side of the entrance to the park is Other Worlds Merkantile. Another big shop. This is where I went in last time. This one’s cool cuz it’s split up by all the different worlds. It might be stuff we have already seen. Oh, that’s beautiful. Look, they didn’t have this pin when I was here last. They have this without the window bit and then they have one with this like opening. Well, that’s limited release. This is limited edition. Really nice. $18, but I already have one. These are the rides that I opened during early park admission. Mario Kart, Yoshi’s Adventure, Stardust Racers, Constellation Carousel, Monsters Unchained, and Curs the Werewolf. Was that at the end? We just picked up some macarons in the bakery store. So, we’ve got strawberry cheesecake, s’mores, creme brulee, cookies and cream, and birthday cake. So, we’re going to have a little go of these. Did we just eat all those macarons for breakfast? Yeah, we did. And they were all banging. My stomach was grumbling, so they were only going to get squished, so we just thought we’ll eat them. So, there’s not many places that do breakfast, but the Oaken Star Tavern does. And it actually sounds pretty good. Oh, brulee Hawaiian mango bread. Excuse me. Eggs. Oh my god, that sounds good. Do you need to try it? I don’t know if we want to go now or later, but this is where I ate on my last trip and it was amazing. Look. So pretty. Okay, we’re in the open tavern. We’re going to try the Celestial Park drink. It’s called the Celestial Spritz. Yeah. I don’t know what’s in this one. Orange. Oh, merry orange. No. Third time lucky. We’ve gone for a minute lemonade. Can’t go wrong. You know what? That breakfast did sound really good, but we’ve decided there’s so much food we want to eat today. We’re just going to hang in there. We’ve had our little macarons. Maybe we’ll have our first like plate of lunch at 11. Yeah. So, we’re going to go straight up to Burke. I think we’re going to try and meet Toothless or go on the glider ride. Okay. They’re our priorities. Glider rider. Not wing gliders. The other one. What’s it called? Spinny Wizzy one. Spinny Wizzy is what we’re calling it. We rename everything. Sorry, Universal. But we do have our own names. We have our own language. Dragon Racers Rally. Pretty much the same thing. This is another restaurant that we’re not going to have time to do this trip. It’s called Atlantic. And a lot of people said it’s gorgeous. I think the menu looks really good. But it’s mostly fish and seafood. So, if that’s not your thing, maybe skip on it. But I think next time I would like to try it cuz it looks so nice. It overlooks the water area. All right. This is what the queue looks like at 10:00 a.m. because this doesn’t have early entry. So, everyone that wants to go in here is coming in. We’re in and we’ve decided to go straight to meet Toothless because that is looking like an hour wait all day long and it was a high priority for me. Did that make you jump? No, the little girl next died. Wow, there’s people already meeting, I think. So, they’ve told us that the queue is about an hour, maybe an hour and a half, but I just thought I’d show you this gorgeous wood carving of Hiccup and Toothless. This is the kind of thing that I just appreciate a lot, but I’m always rushing past. Look, when they first meet and he puts his hand on his face. It’s so cute. I love that the tails are swinging out of the thing. That’s so good. I don’t know if you can see, but Astrid has also come out with her dragon. So, currently they have Toothless at the back with Hiccup and then Astrid with hers. A, that’s so cute. I appreciate the detailing. They’ve got a a box of fish just like the one in the movie. We have hit the 1 hour mark. We had a bit of a hiccup. Uh Toothless had a little napnap for 15 minutes. They put the screens up. Toothless looks absolutely incredible. The way his eyes move and side to side are blinking and the mouth opening and closing and it’s just so good. And Hiccup is out too. So hopefully we get to meet Hiccup at the same time. Yeah. I think that’s 12. Hi, nice to meet you, Hiccup. Apparently, there is a fire over in the hatch. You’ll need it. Not surprising because the twins started heading that way and they they start more fires than the dragon. Oh dear. Oh, you better run. If you see them, keep an eye out. We will do so. See you later. See you. Hey. How are you? Yes, I have. That’s very cool. No, really. My first time was very happy. Oh, I’m very happy. Now that this is your first time being a dragon, I want to tell you a little bit how to get a nice little sniff, you know, make sure you’re all right. I’m sure you are. Nice work. It is now nearly half 11, an hour and a half. But we just spent the last 15 minutes getting the pictures. So, we don’t normally buy any digital pictures cuz we just use our phone. But there were a few there that was they were very good. They were really nice. So, I just wanted them for me cuz I might not ever meet Titus again or not for a very long time. Anyway, they’re going to be another hour and a half. No way. This is the fire drill ride where you get a bit wet. You can like duck, I think, but it depends if the other boats get you wet, but it’s cute. We are going on Hiccup swing gliders. 2-hour wait is absolutely wild. Oh my god. Oh, look at the water fountain. Oh wow, that’s so good. Night Furies are expert flyers. Great for wing glider training. Oh, that’s cute. I know that Express is an expense, but it has saved us so much. Yeah, we’ve only got two days here. We’ had to have much more than 2 days if we didn’t have Express. I mean, I love reading my book in the queue, but I don’t love reading my book in the queue 2 hours much, you know? No. Exactly. Not without a nice comfy chair. I’m I’m over 30 now. I need a nice comfy chair. So, we waited for the front row and it was so good. So good. So worth it. I think if you haven’t ridden it before, ride it normally the first and if you got time, ride it normally the first time and then ride it uh front row second cuz you can feel the difference. It’s so good. We saw the toothless animatronic cuz last time we were at the back row and it we were right next to it at the front and he presses a button which we never noticed before and I noticed the sheet this time and we got like a better look at some of the stuff. So loads of different things. It was really good. I feel so content like that has made my day. And we both we both just put our arms up together. We pretended we weren’t lying. I think we are going to go and do Pizza Moon now. And then we’re going to try and see the Harry Potter show and do Ministry of Magic again. So, we’ve got a bit of a slower cuz we’ve been on our feet all morning. I know we haven’t done those, but we haven’t stopped stood for an hour and a half to do toothless, haven’t we? So, yeah. So, that’s the plan. Let’s go and get some pizza. Let’s do it. We found another confectionary thing which has got some fudge and like look at the little eggs. They’re little cheesecake egg brownie rice krispie treats. Vanilla cake pop. Oh, there’s so many. They’re so cute. Oh my gosh, look at the little sheep. But it’s Target. And they even had these little coin purse things, too. They’re $25, though, which is a little on the steeper side. They even have a Loungefly. Universal Studios Loungefly. That’s so cool. I love that. It’s actually pretty big. We’re going to come back to Burke later tonight to do the rides we haven’t done. And maybe hiccups again at night, but I really do love it. I think they’ve done an incredible job here. Look how cute these little dragons are fighting over a fish. And there’s one that’s got his head in the basket. Here’s Pizza Moon. We’re going to go on in and see if we can get some food. I haven’t been in here yet. Oh wow. Oh my goodness. This is so pretty. They have done such an amazing job on the theming. I wasn’t expecting it to be so pretty. This is where the chefs are making the pizzas. A little rocket ship. That’s amazing. We’ve ordered a pepperoni pizza. It’s a 12 in for two people to share. So, we just got one of those. Benji’s gone to do our refill over there. And it was $18.99 plus tax. So, it was about $20. The pizza is here. We went for a pepperoni cuz it was the flavor that we both thought we’d both like, seeing as we had to share. I do wish they made it smaller. Although I have to say it’s not actually as big as I thought it was going to be. Like so it means we can go to Blue Dragon as well later if we fancy and get something else. It’ be a bit of a picky day. But it is currently 12:40. So it did take about half an hour or so, didn’t it? To get it. M I wasn’t expecting it to be anything good, but that’s really good. I love that. It’s It’s thin, but in the best way. Very light and easy to eat. I think I’ve had so much pizza in theme parks that you kind of expect a certain standard, but this is super super fresh and light and nice. Yeah, some theme park are really dense, aren’t they? I think I might give it an eight or an eight and a half. It there was nothing wrong with it. It’s just, you know, it’s just pizza. What’s the pizza rating for you? Got solid eight. I said eight. Eight and a half. So, yeah, we’re on the right track. It was really tasty. I could taste the flavor in my mouth, you know. It was very good. Okay, we’ve just bumped into some lovely viewers who’ve been chatting away and saying hello to lots of you today who have just told us that apparently the 115 Arus Circ show is at capacity, but we’re going to check on the express anyway. Just in case they’ve got two lines. Yes. But we also have express for Ministry of Magic. So, we could do that. Yeah. And then see the show, but it’s every hour at the moment. No matter what, we’ll we’ll sort something out in here. We’ll do it either way round. We’ll do both. It just might not be whatever order. It is definitely full cuz it’s saying next show is at 2:15. Well, that establishes that it is at capacity. So, there are loads of shows today, so I’m not worried. We will see it. Okay. How do you feel about doing this ride on a pizza belly? Yeah, it’ll be fine. By the time we walk through, it takes 10 minutes, doesn’t it? Walking to do it. Yeah. I love this. So many details I notice every time. The owl up in the window up there. Yeah, we spotted Headwig. Oh, that little thing in the in the water. Did you see that? There’s so many fun things. Right. 150minute wait. This is Yay. We’re in the room to see the little house self house today. Look. Look at all the magic. Shoe hanging up. Yeah. Look at the the dusting one. It’s so good, isn’t it? I’m glad you got to see it cuz it’s so grand like with the gold and everything and the chandelier. So pretty. Oh, yeah. All the cats moving. We just popped into this chocolate shop in here. This pink one opposite the show. We picked up a butterbeer chocolate bar. It was $10. It smells really butter beering. We’ll find out. Right, let’s go into the show now. Ride was amazing as per usual. Okay, we’ve seen the pre-show and this is what the stage looks like. Some really cool stage magic already, isn’t there? Yeah, really clever. All right, we’ve just seen our canoe. I’ve been calling it something else, but it’s our canoe. What did you think? I enjoyed it. I think it was really fun. The It’s really grand like the size of the stage. Again, all the stage magic was really cool. The animatronics were really good. It was nice. It was neat. It was clever. I think it’s a one and done, but it’s I’ve seen it. And so, seeing it a second time, I was like, “Yeah.” But there was an act at the beginning. He’s doing bubbles and he juggled the bubbles. Worth seeing. And good in the middle of the day to like take a break. So, we feel a bit more rested. But, we are going to head back to the room and take a longer proper break. Look. Where’s my wand? And he appeared. And then look. Oh, he’s gone. So good. That is so clever. That is magic. I don’t even know how they do that. We’ve come to the entrance of the park. Yay. To get some pictures because we haven’t got our thumbnail photo or potential. We like to bank a lot of options. All right. We’ve just spent about 20 minutes. I would double it. But yeah, just taking our pictures by the entrance because we end up helping other people. And honestly, I swear I every time that Benji took a photo for someone else, it went empty. Always happy to do. I love doing. And then when it was our turn, it was full. It was so busy again. Typical. But we got there in the end. We picked up our drink from Dark Universe. So, all stocked up. And we’re going to pop into Blue Dragon now. Potentially get a bit of food cuz it looked really nice. That’s so cool. Oh my word. Oh, that is so cool. Oh wow. Oh, it looks so like you wouldn’t tell from the outside. Oh my god, it’s so good. Oh wow, I love it. It’s just quite nice to come in, isn’t it? All right, we’ve got our starter. We’re going to share the pot stickers. These look so good. They’re actually like the dumplings that underneath there. Yummy. M. So toasty, right? Oh my god, they’re so good. Can’t believe you can get food like this right here. Our main that we’re sharing is the orange chicken. And this looks absolutely divine. Hot stickers were like a 9 out of 10. This is more like a seven. Maybe less, maybe six. The chicken’s a bit sautΓ© chicken, if you know what I mean. And it could be more more orangey. I’m not getting any orange really. No, it’s not a lot of flavor. Blue Dragon, what we rating that? What? Overall. Overall, uh, an eight, I think it was nice. It hadn’t as flavorful as we wanted, but the overall theming. Yeah, give it a name. We’re now going to go back into the hotel and take a break for an hour or so, just freshen up, lie down. We might even watch Traitors cuz the final on right now and we don’t want to see spoilers. And we want to go to the bar whilst it’s still light. A few hours later, we watched the Traitors finals. It’s only been an hour. It’s getting dark and we made a reservation at Bar Helios. Oh, we got changed as well. We’re in just something a little bit nicer. I’m wearing a midi dress. It is so pretty in here. So, we’re outside, but we will go inside after and have a look at it better. It’s quite cool out here, isn’t it? It’s nice. We’re right in here. Look, you can see obviously we have a part view from our room, but it’s just quite nice to be in a bar. It’s very viby. We’re just watching Stardust Races going on over there. We’re not so bothered by the menu. I am just going to pan over it so you can see the prices are on the steeper side as well. So bear that in mind. But I think we both just want to have a drink, enjoy the vibe, read our book, and then we’ll head back out. Yeah, we brought the cards with us. Sound like a plan. It is so nice. The actual bar inside is beautiful as well. It looks like a planetarium. It’s like a nice globe. A globe? No. Dome. That’s what I’m looking for. Thank you, Ben. And the bar is so pretty. Cheers. We went for Samuel and Bong from New Zealand. From New Zealand. Savvy B. This is such a nice way to spend our last evening. Some games tomorrow. I mean, it’s not our last evening of the trip. But yeah, no, tomorrow we’re moving. I feel like we’ve completed everything we want to do, though. I agree. We were just saying that 2 days has felt like the perfect amount of time. We feel very content and everything we’re doing this evening is just bonus really. I think we’ve done it in a good way. I really have loved this hotel so much. It’s might be one of my favorite hotels that we’ve stayed in and had, the the quality. Yeah, it’s been really nice. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. We are back out and it is all lit up so beautifully. It’s a really nice temperature again. Yeah, it’s not too cold at all. Honestly, I don’t really need a jacket on, but I’ve got it on anyway. And we’re going to the B to do those final things that we haven’t done. Oh, I like this little kitty play area. Yeah, it’s cool. Play zone thing. There’s so much detail. Oh, and they’re playing the song. So, we’re going to do this ride. Oh, I see. That makes sense. So, it spins. As usual, we are passing the time by reading our books. Just nice and quiet. started mine yesterday and I’m 31% in already. Wow. Right. We’ve been on the Fly Boys Dragon Rally Races. Both seconds of it. We had front row which was really cool. But it was so round four times and the first time you’re building up speed. So you have pretty much two full laps to get used to it with. Yeah. Yeah. And then the fourth time you’re slowing down to come back to a whole any you can use the handles to like move the wings. Yeah. But um I I enjoyed it, but I would have loved like another few goes around. I am making Benji do fire drill. It would be rude not to tick off every ride. We’ve got to try them all. The boats are really cute and actually at night it’s all lit up so beautifully. We’re walking straight on basically. So we’ve got these little shooters. Can’t say I I care about shooting anything. Right. Well, Benji’s taking it very seriously. You don’t earn points or anything. It’s just for fun. Wow. Is that worth the wet fun? Yes, because I did it. I took it off and I’ll never do it ever again. And we didn’t get that wet. So, it is a really fun concept. My water pressure gun was No, I’m glad we didn’t wait for it. We didn’t wait for it. So, it’s fine. I bet it is fun during the day when it’s really hot, though. Yeah. And I can see why kids love it. I do wish that they like toned up my my I want to know how much I’ve won. There’s no music or anything or No, it needed something. I agree. Well, just on the outside alone with all the lights, I think this is going to be really good. You were saying that it was the like the light cones supposed to be like Rainbow Road and I hadn’t tweaked that before. Yeah, I think it is cuz it’s the road, isn’t it? I think it’s Rainbow Road. Look, it lights up like that. Yeah. Also, all around the edges as well in all the different portals, they have different characters. So cute. You have to just take a moment to look at it because it’s just been so well done. I love the way it goes. Bom bom bom. So fun. Look, he’s right. He’s on a mission. Look at him. Off he goes. Oh, it’s so good. [Music] Oh, it’s so much fun. Annoyingly, I forgot my powerup band. It’s in the room. We’ve decided we’re going to do Bowser’s Castle Mario Kart. I want to just go in the castle again, to be honest. Who’s going to win, Bubba? Well, obviously you. You? I’m not playing this time. You’re going for a little drive? Yeah. I just want to enjoy it. Soak it up. I’ve done it twice now. This is only your second time. You can take it more seriously. You can win for us. We’re just taking a minute through the queue because it is so so cool. I can’t believe how much there is to look at. The triple red shell offense. Oh, that’s fun. Oh, wow. Benj, look. There’s loads of other things going on down there. [Music] It’s so cute. Yeah, [Music] we’re underwater. Oh, look. This is so cool. Look at this castle. Oh, I’ve taken mine off. It is so clever though. Goes in like this and then it just magnets. Rainbow roads. This is so cool. Oh, how many points? I don’t know. Zero probably. 155. That’s good. Well done. I got the most out of this part. Well done. So, where where do I clap my medal from? Where do I climb a medal? Look at it. It’s so cool. Oh, we just watched a bit of Mario and Luigi meeting and they actually talk. It was so cool. They closed the line though and they’re not meeting for another 40 minutes an hour. It wasn’t on our bucket list to meet them, but Princess Peach meets and so does Toad. Toad toad, right? Princess Peach and Toad meet as well. Oh my gosh, it’s been so long. They look like a fun meet though. Yeah, they did look fun. We are going to have some more food. Like a little bit of snacky dinner at the O and the Oak and Star Tavern Brew House. This is our food. We’ve got a chopped salad, which looks Yeah, really nice. I’m looking forward to that. Benji’s got the chicken burger, which also looks good. And we got some mango bread on the side, cuz I really loved that when I was here last. And then we have a banana pudding, which we’re assuming is cold after last night’s crap. So, I just ordered it now for us to have for after. [Music] The music is so lovely. The vibes been good. The food has been fine. My salad was like there was too much sauce. It was Yeah, it was a very wet salad. It was like too much going on. So, I only ate about half. This is like a sloppy mess. I was afraid it’s like a bit of short crust pastry at the bottom or a bit of like some like something on the front. Okay, we have just spent the last hour bashing out all our favorites. We did Curse of the Werewolf in the dark. I really like that in the dark. It was good. We then did Stardust Racers of course. Always a banger. And then we finished with Hiccups wing gliders which we’ve decided especially front row and at night. Best ride in the park. I think we think it’s our favorite. It’s always fun, isn’t it? We have so much fun on it. And we keep seeing loads of little details and it’s so pretty and like you say at night it was so good. We are pooped guys. Absolutely shattered. We counted that we’ve done 19 rides like as in obviously repeated some. There aren’t 19 individual rides and it’s felt like we’ve been here absolutely ages, which is great. It’s great. It’s been really amazing. We’ve loved Epic Universe. What did you think? I Well, you said it. I loved it. It’s so fun. So immersive. It feels like there’s a lot to do. The food’s really good. So many good food choices. There’s not many things I can fault. A couple of the rides could be longer. feel like it’s it it could do with one more one more world. Yeah. And maybe one more big big ride. But other than that, I I think it’s great. The Helios being here. Helios has been incredible. One of the best theme park like hotels we’ve ever stayed at or near it by. I think that wraps up our time at Epic Universe. Thank you so much. Wow Brogan and Benji you have done it again . To be honest I had got so bored of all the Epic universe vlogs it had just been so over done BUT . You both reignited faith again . I think the problem was before people just wanted to rush through as much of the rides as possible get all the spoilers out there which became very repetitive. You two have made the experience the way all parks should be taken in and how I would have done it which is enjoy every moment and share what you want to share without too many spoilers but leaving a lot to the imagination for everyone to come and enjoy their own experience thank you xx the amount of humbleness you both show with all your blogs is that you donβt take any of the experiences and travels for granted and immerse and enjoy every single moment and soak it all up you guys are amazing looking forward to the next Vlog xx

The love you guys have for each other is…just…I'm not sure I have words for it. Hallmark Christmas movies, and the participants therein, cannot hold a candle to you two.
