RAY Parks made sure that Osaka Evessa will head to the FIBA break on a high after the Osaka Evessa swept the Toyama Grouses this past weekend in the 2025-26 Japan B.League season at Kurobe City Sports Center.
Building confidence heading into his Gilas Pilipinas stint in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand, Parks was in his element for Osaka, first erupting for 25 points and four rebounds in their 102-97 win on Saturday and had a 20-point encore in the Evessa’a 97-92 repeat victory on Sunday.
Those pair of wins helped Osaka move uo to an 8-10 card as the league goes on a 19-day break to give way to the first window of the 2027 Fiba World Cup Asian qualifiers.
Gilas boys sweep weekend
Gilas-bound Dwight Ramos also helped the Levanga Hokkaido extend their win streak to seven with a sweep of Shimane Susanoo Magic at Kami Arena.

He chipped in 13 points, five rebounds, four steals, three assists, and one block in Saturday’s 91-89 escape and doubled down on Sunday, notching nine points, two assists, and two steals in their 97-81 conquest.

Gunma moved up to 12-6, while Nagoya slipped down to 6-12.
Kiefer Ravena could only settle for a split in Yokohama B-Corsairs’ pair of games versus his former squad Shiga Lakes at Yokohama International Pool.
