Spend a day in Hiroshima with us – Japan Road Trip day 15 #japan #hiroshima #roadtrip

take. But is it just me or is it super weird when people post their Instagram style photos in front of memorials? We’ve just arrived in Hiroshima on day 15 of our two-month road trip across Japan. It’s a city we’ve always wanted to visit, both for cultural importance and its heavy history. We had the perfect weather to walk around, but seriously, there was so many people taking smiley pose photos in front of the memorials. Let me know in the comments if there’s some cultural context I’m missing, but genuinely I just don’t get it. Anyways, after exploring the Peace Memorial Park, we headed to the Peace Museum. Entry is only 200 yen and honestly it’s worth every end. Museum focuses heavily on the human side of the tragedy which makes it a tough but powerful experience. If you’re planning to go, tried to get there earlier in the day. It was absolutely packed when we went and at times it was even hard to see the exhibits. After that, we took a stroll over to Hiroshima Castle, but we decided not to go in since we just explored Himei Castle a few days ago. Instead, we went straight for the main event, Economy. And the best place to try it, Economy Mura, a four-story building filled with local economy stores. You can choose between soba or udon noodles. and we went for the traditional sober, of course. If you want a full rundown of our economy experience and the best all to try, check out my next video. Tomorrow, we’re heading to Beu and we find some pretty sketchy signs and questionable roads, but we still decide to camp there in the end. Hit follow and come back for day 16. It’s going to be a wild one.
