April 29, 2025, 4:30 p.m. Yesterday, the official blooming information announced that the moss phlox were in full bloom. I arrived at 7:30 a.m., but due to the rain that fell until dawn, the small moss phlox flowers were wilted from the weight of the rain. It is 7:30 a.m. today. I always want to shoot videos at the best time. Since it’s close by, I can go there multiple times. When it’s local, I even feel a sense of mission to shoot beautiful videos. 😊 The staff told me that it would be beautiful by noon, so I came back again at 1:30 p.m. The moss phlox was beautiful, but this time there were so many people that there was a line to get up to the observation deck. 😅 So, I came back for the third time in the evening after the peak crowd had passed. Fuji Motosuko Resort is at an altitude of 1,000 meters, so the mountain cherry blossoms are still in bloom. It wasn’t crowded at this time, but the sun was starting to set. Mini shibazakura (moss phlox) Fujisan illuminated by the sun. The rain that fell until dawn was snow on the summit of Mt. Fuji. An arch in the shape of Mt. Fuji. At this time of day, you can go up to the observation deck without having to wait in line. Today, unusually for this time of year, the wind was from the north instead of the south, so we were able to see Mt. Fuji all day long✌️ Normally, Mt. Fuji and the moss phlox are beautiful in the afternoon when they are frontlit, but in the afternoon, Mt. Fuji is often hidden by clouds due to the humid south wind. It’s very difficult to decide what time to come because it’s pointless if you can’t see Mt. Fuji. This is the most spectacular footage. However, I think the footage has more depth in the morning and evening. The Fuji Shibazakura (moss phlox) Festival is in its 18th year. I’ve been coming almost every year since the first year, but the quality varies greatly from year to year. This year, it snowed twice in April, so I was worried, but they bloomed as usual. New photo spot: Lovers’ Heart Bench The moss phlox is a perennial, but here, they dig it up and replant it every year. The person in charge looks at the blooming moss phlox and thinks about what design to use next year. By the way, this year’s title is “A Moment of Spring Colors.” We have walked from the south entrance to the west side of the park, but next we will go up the observation tower and walk to the east end. The observation tower is 8 meters high. This garden has a Peter Rabbit English Garden. I love the paintings on the walls. Fuji🙏 It is one-way traffic, so when you go up to the observation tower, you will be guided to the shop. Last year, I came here 5-6 times, but the best part was not the moss phlox, but the Peter Rabbit English Garden in full bloom in summer. Unfortunately, there are hardly any flowers blooming now, but let’s say “Hello, Peter, nice to see you again this year.” The Peter Rabbit English Garden was designed by British garden designer Mark Chapman. First, let’s go up the hill and see the moss phlox. In September, instead of moss phlox, zinnias bloom and the “Rainbow Flower Festival” is held. Compared to the popular moss phlox, there are fewer tourists, but personally, I prefer the “Rainbow Flower Festival” when the English garden is in full bloom. I came here three times today, but the happiest moment was meeting the real Peter in the morning.😊 Peter brought by a tourist 😃 “Don’t go to Mr. McGregor’s garden!” Peter broke his mother’s rule and was caught by Mr. McGregor, who turned his clothes into a scarecrow. The park closes at 5:00 p.m., so this long take is a one-shot. I’ve practiced filming this many times already ✌️ To the east of the park is the Peter Rabbit Story Trail. As you walk along the forest path, you’ll see phrases and scenes from the Peter Rabbit picture books recreated. I really love this little forest. You can see several heart marks. This video is almost over. It was a long day. I forgot to mention, but re-entry is free. But I might be the only one who enters multiple times.
