What to wear in Tokyo in November 🍁

happy November everyone fall has come to Japan and the temperatures have started sinking a common question for travelers to Japan in November is what should I wear for daytime activities like a visit to the Tokyo Ramen Festa or Kyoto sansen mum Festival we recommend wearing a cardigan or a sweater a light jacket would be good to layer at night when you go see the beautiful illuminations around Tokyo Sky Tree or Osaka Hakata Park mornings can be quite chilly in these areas but if you don’t want to carry a jacket around layering will be your best option during the later half of the month Tokyo and Kanai as well as the Northern parts of Japan will’ll see temperatures drop even further to enjoy all the fun Christmas markets and events during this time we recommend thicker coats and jackets and maybe even a scarf to make sure you stay warm we hope you have a fun trip to Japan in November
