I ordered a frozen Midori Margarita. There is a quiz going on in the main pool on Deck 15. What does the Italian band Måneskin’s name mean? The answer is “moonlight” in Danish. Head to the indoor pool bar. He makes some delicious looking drinks and it piqued my interest. There is a menu of freshly squeezed juices. Smoothies. Coolers. I ordered kiwi and strawberry. It was truly freshly squeezed juice. I drink the fresh juice and take a break. It tasted good too. Where are we? Near the remote islands of Kagoshima Prefecture, Kyushu. Takeshima. Iwo Jima. I missed Tanegashima. Cape Sata. We’re sailing through some interesting places. The dress code on the evening of the fourth is formal, so I change into a suit. Live music in progress. On the fourth night, we will have dinner at the steakhouse, a classic MSC steak restaurant. The dining experience cost $47 USD. Choose one appetizer or soup. Choose one entree or steak. Choose one dessert. A la carte steaks and side dishes. The drinks menu included cocktails, beers, and wines. Champagnes are also available. I ordered Ch. Jean de Bel Air Bordeaux Rouge red wine. Bread selection. Two types of butter. The steaks are on display. I ordered the New York sirloin. Freshly grilled steak. House chop salad. Bone marrow. I was surprised by the large bone, but only a small portion was edible. Filet mignon, 8 oz (226 g). New York sirloin, 14 oz (396 g). The steak is generous. There are four different sauces to choose from, allowing for a variety of flavors. Side dishes included spinach and mashed potatoes. Salt. The steak was delicious. I was happy with the price. Lava cake and ice cream. New York cheesecake. The restaurant was great. There will be a welcome cocktail at 6 PM and a speech by the captain at 7:10 PM. I’m looking forward to it. I missed the welcome cocktail. There is a live music event in the Bellissima Lounge. The dress code is formal, but only about half the passengers are dressed that way. The captain’s speech begins at 7:10 PM. The captain of the MSC Bellissima appeared. The passengers greet the captain with applause. “Thank you for boarding MSC Bellissima” and “Enjoy a fantastic cruise.” The captain gave a speech in both English and Japanese. Compared to my previous MSC World Cruise, the captain speech was shorter. The MSC logo flashed on the LED screen. The MSC crew was presented with awards. Afterward, there is a photo opportunity with the captain. There is also a Golden Party here starting at 10:15 PM. There are also various other events on the fourth night. Dance class event. We’re going to see the show starting at 8 PM. The show that day was called Club Disco. I enjoyed it. Leaving the theater, we are greeted by another LED show. Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. Taj Mahal in Agra, India. Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey. Famous world heritage sites from around the world were displayed. It was amazing! There seemed to be a lottery, so we participated. It was nerve-wracking. Winners apparently received gifts and discount coupons. A paper lantern had been prepared for tonight’s Golden Party. We take a break at the British pub. It was surprisingly empty, making it a hidden gem. The Golden Party starts at 10:15 PM. What kind of party will it be? It’s rumored to be a flashy one, so let’s look forward to it. The words “GOLDEN PARTY” appeared on the LED screen. The party lasts for one hour. The MSC dancers are wearing flashy gold costumes. The atmosphere is exciting. The music is also great. Gold streamers are flying. Where are they shooting the gold streamers from? They are shooting from here. After enjoying the party, we return to my cabin. As usual, tomorrow’s daily program is placed on the bed. We have an excursion tomorrow. Where are we? Somewhere between Jeju Island, South Korea, and Kyushu, Japan. It’s the morning of the fifth day. It’s 6:05 AM. It’s still dark outside, but we’ll soon arrive at Jeju Island, South Korea. Jeju Island is an oval-shaped volcanic island located at the southernmost tip of South Korea. We head to the cruise terminal in the southern part of Jeju Island. There’s a tugboat over there. This place is called Seogwipo Gangjeong Cruise Terminal. For breakfast on day five, we head to the buffet on Deck 15. I’m craving Japanese food. Miso soup and porridge. We don’t have much time, so I quickly eat breakfast. Today’s excursion meets at the London Theatre on Deck 6 at 7:30 AM . There are various excursions available. The cruise terminal here is quite long, and it takes about 20 minutes to depart. I choose the “SPO13 – Jeju Island’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites” excursion. We board the bus. The bus has an elegant interior and an exotic feel. I sit down. Other than the interior, the buses are pretty much the same as Japanese buses. Today, we’re heading to the eastern part of Jeju Island. We’ll be back at the cruise terminal in about five hours. The cruise terminal is in the south, Mount Hallasan is in the center, and the World Heritage Site, Seongsan Ilchulbong, is in the east. There are various tourist attractions. The waterfall is apparently popular. Here’s a photo of the World Heritage Site, Seongsan Ilchulbong, from above. I’m looking forward to going there. It’s about a 90-minute bus ride from the cruise terminal to Seongsan Ilchulbong. Parking lot at Seongsan Ilchulbong. I get off the bus. It’s a volcano 182 meters (597 ft) above sea level. Here’s a map of Seongsan Ilchulbong. There are 560 steps to the top. After reaching the top, we take a different path back down. There is also a course that goes to the sea without going all the way to the top. The sightseeing time is only about an hour. Dolhareubang. A stone statue representing an old man. Now, let’s start hiking to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. Casual clothing is fine. The path is gentle at first, but there are stairs halfway up. The left is the trail for climbing, and the right is the trail for descending. Since we don’t have much time, we head towards the sea instead of climbing. According to people who have climbed, it was quite tough. Towards the sea. Actually, the sea is also beautiful enough. Wow… what a nice place. There’s also an observation deck over there. Let’s enjoy the sea view. Wonderful. I was satisfied even without climbing. There’s a souvenir shop over there. Let’s buy a Dolhareubang figurine. The Dol Hareubang holding Korean won bills looks good. We get back on the bus and head to another place. It’s like a market. Jeju Island is rich in seafood. I have some turban shells. They’re grilling squid here. Looks delicious. This is Seopjikoji in the eastern part of Jeju Island. It was used as a filming location for the Korean drama “All In.” The rough ocean waves are lovely. Over there is a white lighthouse. The Glass House, designed by architect Tadao Ando. The Seongsan Ilchulbong, which we visited earlier. There is a bakery cafe called FLOYEAST. Apparently, the best view of Seongsan Ilchulbong is from here. It’s beautiful, isn’t it? Continued in the next video… In the next video, we’ll take a detailed look at all the onboard facilities on MSC Bellissima, including the MSC Yacht Club, which we didn’t cover this time. I’ll also be sharing my cruise reports from days 5, 6, 7, and 8. After Jeju Island in South Korea, we’ll be heading to Kumamoto in Japan. The cruise continues. A touching finale? Thank you for watching.
Today we’re boarding the MSC Bellissima, the largest cruise ship in Japan. We’ll be boarding the MSC Bellissima from Tokyo to Osaka and then on to Jeju Island, South Korea.

39:48 Believe most/all coffee is bitter… think that's why so many add milk/sugar.

Cruising is great. This is an awesome video ST. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😎👋🇺🇸
Hola, te acabo de escribir un correo electgrónico con sugerencias de trenes cama de lujo en España
こんなに大きなクルーズ船を建造するなんて、日本の造船レベルは本当にすごいですね!
That is like being trapped in an American Mall for 8 days……I'd be numb by day 3. It's very very…….loud.
Great vid as always! Looks like so much fun! I two cruises I went on in the '90s were NOTHING compared to this one. The best thing was that they had a cocktail called "The Love Boat"!! 🤣🤣🤣
No towel animals????
