Bizarre Discovery: Abandoned Scientist Mansion With Working Power!

Oh my gosh! The electricity is turning on. Oh, look at this, guys! I think he was a scientist. We discovered an abandoned house unlike
anything we’ve seen before. And what we uncovered inside goes far
beyond the ordinary. This is a place where life stopped, but
never really ended. Some stories don’t fade, they’re just
waiting to be found. Welcome back, everybody, to a brand new
episode. Today, I’m in Belgium. I’m accompanied by a group of friends and we discovered, as the very first people…
well, actually, my friends Aïcha, Brecht, and Emiel discovered this house. And we’re going to check it out right now. And look at it! It’s completely overgrown. Surrounded by lush greenery and
increasingly growing vegetation. And they are already inside. Have a look at it! It’s a house of pretty big size. There’s still a little garden set
over here. I think I already see the entrance that
they also took. That’s literally that hole. So, that’s going to be fun. Look at the table over there. We have some stones. This once was the main entrance of the
property. I think this is not leading anywhere
anymore. I want to get to the backside of the
place, though. And I’ve actually been told that they are
inside right now and they told me that it
used to be a bed and breakfast. Since there are also certain doors saying
that it’s private to go there. Let’s first make our way to the garden of
the place. Look at that! There are all those porcelain African
ornaments on the facade of the shed. There are even stairs over here. I don’t know where they lead to. And then I should even trust them. I hear something. *footsteps* It’s an animal. It’s an animal. There is an animal inside of here. I don’t know what animal. Strange. Wooden planks. Woah! Still, a Ford car completely covered in dust and
dry leaves that have fallen down from the trees. Another car. I think it’s locked. There’s even still a mouth mask inside
from COVID-19. So, I think this place is not abandoned
for that long as we might think it is. They had an entire chill part over here. There’s even an animal skull. I think the man was also involved in hunting since
there are several hunting trophies in here. Oh, I can actually get inside
through the back. They even had a little microwave
and oven over here. They were chilling here in the summer. And this is the backside of the property. Quite a particular style. I see the African style again. This was his entire workshop. There’s a third car over here. A Dacia. Completely disappearing in the vines
and shrubbery. A big property, and we’ve toured
the outside right now. This would lead to the shed, but you can
tell that the shed is flooded. So, then I think we really toured the
complete outside. I was a little bit afraid of going upstairs
at the beginning because it was strange. I heard an animal.
At least, something up there. It’s time to head to the front entrance and
challenge ourselves with a funny entrance. Let’s go through this hole. Let’s do it! This gives me a throwback feeling to the time I was actually going through a cat flap in Wales. Like a little door for a cat. Luckily, I lost 10 kilos, that made things
a little bit easier. There we go. Now, it’s time to explore this place. I hope you enjoy it. It’s going to be a total surprise. Let’s check it out. We just stepped inside the main hallway
of this house, and you can already see that this Belgian home
is completely crystallized in time. I saw rock collections outside, but even in this box, there is
an entire rock collection with different stones. The home trainer is there. Still, this beautiful painted glasswork. Sunshine is beautifully falling through. I’m wondering what’s behind this door. It’s a little bit blocked. Oh, actually, things in bags. Woah! Check this out! No freaking way! There’s a stuffed crocodile. I wasn’t expecting that to be found here. Also, a stuffed deer head. Crazy. The toilets were right over here and it still has to sign WC
for the guests that once stayed here. It’s still in quite immaculate condition. Well, immaculate… It hasn’t been maintained. It still says “private” over here, so
that was probably… the living room or something
from the man, behind that door. A piano from “Fazer” I’ve never seen it. It’s still pristinely working as well. A cuckoo clock. Again, African wooden statues on top of
this piano, and more of them. Look, there’s even a tiny guitar over
here. An electric guitar even. It’s crazy what you can see in this place. Oh, and he also was in Romania,
as I can see. Because this is from Dracula’s castle. A chainsaw. Again, African statues on this kind of
coatrack or whatever it used to be. Maybe this man was African. Woah, look at this! I can’t even open it up, but there’s a
stone collection inside. There are fossils. There’s even the jaw and
a denture of an animal. Maybe a shark or a crocodile again. Whoa… I really do not know where to look. I see so many African influences. Same for the table in the middle. And there are still some tools on both of them. There are some other doors saying “private”. I’m curious what’s over there. But I’m maybe going to search if there’s
another way to go there. And later, I will show you the treasures
that we find behind these doors. Oh, another animal skin on the ground. Pff, look at this. I’m going to save the upstairs for later, but… wow, this in front of me…
is definitely worth some money. That’s art. Maybe they even made it themselves. Just look, there’s another beautiful
statue over here. Wow. Okay. I think that was it for the main hallway. Let’s now find out what’s behind that
door, saying “private”. Oh my gosh, that squeaky. No freaking way! Check this out, an entire living part,
as I already assumed. No way! Look at the display. This is still completely accurate. It’s still working, so that means electricity
is still working in this place. Let’s try the switches. Oh my gosh! The electricity is turning on. No freaking way, there are so many things
to look at. I’m sorry for throwing the camera
so many times. But I think that this was actually
the past owner. My friends told me that they found
the name Leo. Look, even an insect collection with some
butterflies over here. And some bugs. It looks like this man was pretty
intelligent, pretty scientific. Wow, still a painting over here as well. A wall clock and there are some
very tiny pictures on here too, I noticed. Some more pictures over here. Quite recent ones too. One of his friends that passed away. It seems that he was very religious. And I also told you that
he was very intelligent. Look at his entire library over here. Plenty of books. And what are they about? Those ones are about birds. Egypt, so he was interested in history and
art, music, Van Gogh. So, art… Dictionaries. German, English… This man was well-studied. He liked listening to music, clearly. All his movies, and look,
even his photo albums. Africa over here. Mr. Leo studied and traveled the world to
understand it. From science to nature to art. Standing here, I kept thinking… If everything stopped, could we rebuild it? That’s exactly what this book imagines. This is the Ultimate Guide to Rebuilding Civilization
from Hungry Minds. A collective of artists and scientists who
turned human inventions into art. It’s a beautifully illustrated journey through more than 400 pages
of how we, as humans, shaped our world. From fire to glass, from language to music,
to the very first tools and the satellites above us. And what began as a creative dream
turned out being a global success, raising over 2.3 million dollars in crowdfunding and
earning best-seller status in 2023. What struck me the most is how this book
connects invention with meaning. I’ve seen what happens when human creation
disappears like no other, but this book shows how everything once began,
step by step. It’s printed on matte art paper, drawn
like medieval art, yet perfectly modern. It’s the kind of book you’ll keep on your
table even long after December. And if you’re looking for a Christmas gift
that means something, this is the one. There’s a link in the description below to get your copy
with a special Christmas discount. Or scan the QR code on-screen right here. Oh, there’s a hidden mystery quest inside the book, just like the mystery that awaits us in
the next rooms we’re about to explore. Oh, even a tablet, guys! Even a freaking tablet over here. It’s the first time I find a tablet inside
an abandoned building. A TomTom navigation system. Still in the plug. A power bank. This place can’t be abandoned for very long. A fireplace over here. Again, a lot of African influences in the
their ornaments on top. I’m gonna switch the light off. Well, there’s a little seating corner. There’s still a globe over there. I think he definitely traveled. At least, over Africa. That’s one thing for sure because also,
look at these masks. Wow, they’re beautiful. So cool. Another one here. Look at his office with his computer and his printer
for doing all the business for the B&B. On top, there’s also paintwork. He was a very artistic man as well. Really interested in art and history. Just like most of the viewers are
on this channel. And right now, we are exploring this
dearest man’s home. This looks a little bit like me in my
childhood. Wow, what a room, what a place. This is a spectacular find, to be honest. Everything is still so well in place. Wow. All the shelves are still colored by all
the ornaments, mostly of African kind. Another stuffed crocodile. No freaking way. Oh, and the car keys of the cars outside
are still laying here. A scale. Some beautiful glasses over here. And another sign of religion. Look at this, guys! There are still many porcelain cups and
plates over here. And this was the dining table. Look, even the lamps have an African style
and ornaments. They painted them. And look at the top too. I really do not know where to look. The clock is still ticking! No way! The passage of time in this place is real. And this is their memory wall. A telephone. Not plugged. So many African ornaments. I’ve never seen this before in any
abandoned home. All covering the walls. Oh! We can see the house back in its heyday
from the street. Look what a beautiful property it was. Now, you cannot even see it from the
street side anymore. Flashlights over here. Alright, then let’s continue. And from there, we actually come to
another private part. There was a second door. A wonderful kitchen. Look at the lamp! That’s definitely very unique. I’ve never seen a lamp like that before. Well, kind of a European map. And Romania again. I think the man had Romanian roots, to be honest. All these are still entirely stuffed, I’m sure. Everything was left behind in this home
pristinely. If you don’t believe me, have a look. It’s unbelievable. Everything this man used for making food,
for relaxing, for reading a book… everything that used to be part of his
life is still present in here. Absolutely gobsmacking. Well, we have a fridge over here. Empty, but it’s very smelly. Oh my gosh. There’s also a calendar. No way! Guys, this calendar is actually only… from 6 months ago. No freaking way! Oh, no way. This man was really living in appalling
conditions in his last years of life. Look, there’s plenty of medicine. This entire cabinet is filled with medicine. Oh my gosh, I’m shocked to see that this place
has only been abandoned that recently. Since look at the decay and the dirt,
the mold. This man probably grew old and he couldn’t
take care of himself anymore. This was most likely the last bedroom
where he slept. Connected to the kitchen and his private parts. Still, all his clothes are hanging inside here. A lot of faeces on top of here. It looks like rat faeces. Oh, there’s another passage! Yeah, this goes to the doors that we saw
at the start, in the main hallway. No freaking way, even music instruments
over here, and a gun! Oh, this place is nuts. This place is really nuts. Oh, look at this, guys! I think he was a scientist. Oh my gosh! Electricity is still on. It was like this when we just entered it. Another stuffed crocodile. All the African ornaments again. Wow, this is his entire gallery. Where did I just step into?! No freaking way. The calendar’s from 2010. A lot of books, so many African ornaments again. Quality prints. Look at this! It’s in this garden. You see, this is the shed in the backside
when it was still vivid. This is too crazy. The television is even turned on. A telescope.
Oh! Look at the stone collection behind it! I wish Remon was with me right now. He would’ve loved seeing this. No way! Probably ancestors of them. You can tell I feel a very special energy
in this place. A very particular kind of energy. This was his place. This was the place where he was creative… where he let his thoughts flow and he
just dreamed away for a while. I don’t have much knowledge about rocks and stones,
but he has some very precious pieces. A magnet. Wow, shells from South Africa. Wow, he was very organized in this part. And that probably took its toll to the
home part. This was also meticulously maintained and
organized. And this was really maybe his passion,
maybe also his obsession. Africa, rocks, history… That’s what is mostly reflected in this office. I really can’t believe what we’ve just
found, guys. This might even be their marriage photo
from his and his wife. What a find, right? In Belgian lands, guys. We’re the first people to be here. And right now, we saw everything on the
downstairs. So, I’m going to make my way up these stairs again and we’re going to explore
the upstairs floor. I just noticed that behind this door there
are also a lot of smoking pipes. And look at that. He was definitely some kind of birdwatcher, also
involved in hunting, but he loved nature. He appreciated it and, yeah, he had a passion
for taxidermy as well, that’s clear. Well, I see a basement. but the basement is completely flooded, so I’m
not going to walk there. I’m sorry. Dang! All the keys as well. This is such a crazy place, guys,
to be honest. Now, we’re going to make our way back to
the main hallway, right here. And from there, we’re going to make our way,
finally, to the upstairs, like I promised you. Wow! What a place! So extravagant, guys! A lot of art over here again. Also, some broken pieces of porcelain,
sadly enough. He owned too much stuff, let’s be honest. He didn’t know what to put where. And imagine that I’m just walking in
the bed and breakfast part right now. And you would see this as a guest. The stuffed fox. Yeah, it was kind of a particular bed and breakfast. My friends just did some research and found out that
the last booking was still 1 year ago in this place. Imagine how it looks right now. These rooms were once immaculate and now
they’re really turning into oblivion. We have a double bedroom right here. A spare mattress on the ground. A little television, a little kitchen,
a fridge. You can tell by this setup that this was
definitely a room for a guest. A private toilet, but also this says “private”. That’s strange. Maybe he just put it on every door
because the doors are numbered. That was 3. Over here is 2, so that goes up. There’s another staircase over here. Going up as well. You can easily get lost over here. Oh, wow! More of his stone collection. There are a lot of them. All full over here. Oh, look! Also, the insects. Butterflies, bugs… They’re all over here. This room is blocked, but it used to be
another guest room. Yeah, another double bedroom for guests. Look, the device of the television control
still displays the time. And it’s accurate, guys. So, this place was abandoned when summer
time was still active. That’s definitely not long ago. It was just left like this. Look over here! We’ve got entire spaces with PCs and
computers, screens, speakers… An entire storage over here. And this used to be another guest room
with a bunker bed. Crazy. Some more telescopes over here. You can tell it used to be another guest room because
there’s also a shower over here and a toilet. And over here’s another door. I think this is another guest house. Oh, yeah. This one is a little bit bigger. It also has a private bathroom. This is room 13. A little kitchen. Wow, it’s still so untouched and
it still looks very clean. Everything was just left in this place. Room number 1 was actually one of the
biggest bedrooms they had. Well, at least the biggest bed. There wasn’t that much to see over here
apart from just bedrooms. They are just organized in a way that you can tell people were actually just spending several nights here
but didn’t stay for a long term. Another room over here. Room number 4. Yep, this one also had a shower over here. You can’t open it up anymore right now. It doesn’t make any sense. This place is quite a mess. They tried to save some things, but eventually,
they are really disregarding everything right now. He was in the military some day. Some very old pictures in here. Memories… now just fading to dust. This is probably him in his childhood. Him with his wife, his grandparents,
or his parents. Look at the wedding photo that we’ve seen before. He looks Romanian too. I don’t want to judge anybody, but you can tell
that this man looks very Eastern European. This is probably a passport picture of
him. This was him as a boy making a snowman. Now, this dearest memory is just left forgotten
and it’s waiting for eternity to take it over. That’s him as a young boy. He made many travels. It looks like he lived a good life, a
happy life, and saw many things. And actually, I haven’t told you one fact
about this man yet. This man actually got knighted. He became a knight in the Royal Arms of
the country on a national level. There are diplomas of that, but I didn’t want to show them to you
because I wanted to protect where this place is. But we found documents of that too. That’s crazy. Mr. Leo… What a man. He definitely lived a fulfilled life. Unfortunately, no life lasts forever. And also, this man, despite being talented…
and well-studied and educated, departed this earth. What are those rooms? What the heck? So many little doors leading to other rooms. Another door saying “private”, number 10. This is blocked by a piece of metal. Or should I do it like this? Yeah, no freaking way, guys. What is this place?! What the heck. Another bedroom where guests could stay. Nobody has walked here, even not my
friends. There are a lot of cobwebs going
through my hair right now. This is crazy. Whoa! I wasn’t expecting that. A lot of tools. These stairs even… Imagine coming in as a guest
with your luggage. Where would you place it? What’s here? Another irregular part with even a toilet
over there. It looks like he was still constructing in a very confined space
to create more bedrooms for guests. How did they come up with ideas like this? I wasn’t even expecting a room here, but
you can see a lot of faeces. So, I might not be the only
structure alive being in here, sorry. That took my breath for a while. This is a lot of faeces. Definitely not from a small animal. This is so strange. Is that another door? It is!
What the heck, guys. That was one of the strangest things
I ever did during a tour. I got inside here and walked all around
and came outside there. That was such a confined space, but
luckily, I’m not claustrophobic. We do have another shower over here, I think. Oh, yeah, well, actually, a bathtub. Scotland, number 7. It looks like this was a lounge for the guest, like… a little lobby in the upstairs, separated from
his private home part. Yeah, this man had a very particular taste. Whether you like it or not. I think guests had nice days here, but
he wanted to do too much. It looks like he was really obsessed with more and more,
and more… and there was no
space at some point anymore. Maybe that’s also the moment when his bed and breakfast
failed or his health deteriorated. He was doing too much. He kind of just burned out and couldn’t
take care of himself anymore. Look, Adidas over here. The pants. Another bedroom. Such a confined space again. It’s a quite hot day today. So, it’s also quite warm in here. Even a coffee machine. And last but not least, a poster of Einstein. I want to know God’s thoughts. The rest are details. Maybe that line meant something to Leo. A reminder that some people spend their lives searching for meaning
until the search itself becomes their world. Once, his home welcomed guests from everywhere. Now, the doors are locked, the beds untouched,
and the power still humming for no one. It seems that nobody knows exactly what
happened to Mr. Leo. Whether he moved on or simply couldn’t. All that’s left are traces of a man who tried to
make sense of it all and ran out of time. If you liked this video, please hit

Hidden deep in the Belgian countryside, we discovered a mansion unlike anything we’ve ever seen. 🇧🇪
Overgrown by ivy, it stands completely forgotten… yet when we stepped inside, the electricity still worked. ⚡️

Once home to Mr. Leo, a well-traveled man of science and art, the house feels like a museum of one mind. 👨🏻‍🔬
Shelves overflow with books on history, fossils and stones fill glass cases, and taxidermy animals watch from the corners of every room. African masks, paintings, and instruments reveal a life shaped by travel, curiosity, and solitude. 🔬🔭

For years, Leo ran this place as a small bed & breakfast, each numbered room still perfectly made up for guests who traveled here. But his world faded slowly… medicine bottles on the counter, calendars barely a year old, and power still humming through the emptiness. 🌬️

We were the first to find it, and to capture what remains: a brilliant man’s world, still alive long after he was gone. 💡

  2. I saw a watermelon tourmaline crystal in that collection and it's probably worth a few hundred bucks! His collection puts my crystal collection to shame!

  3. Oh whow!! What a treasure you discovered❤Sooo much to see 👀 and absorb…need to watch a few times to take it all in 😮 Appreciate you locating and sharing with us❤

  4. 🇫🇮 Fazer pianos were originally manufactured by a Finnish company called Fazer Pianotehdas, which was part of the Musiikki-Fazer group.
    • Fazer piano production began in Helsinki in 1940.
    • From 1963 to 1989, the factory was located in Halkia, Pornainen.
    • In 1988, Fazer Pianotehdas was sold to another Finnish piano manufacturer, Hellas-Piano Oy, which ceased operations shortly after the sale.
Some Fazer pianos have also been manufactured under license or as subcontractors in other countries, for example in Japan (such as the Fazer FR-10 manufactured by Yamaha).
So, historically, Fazer pianos were manufactured by Fazer Pianotehdas.

  5. Takové Zvláštní místo přeplněné 😮asi hodně cestovali tam žilo asi víc lidí spíš muzeum díky moc 🫢👍💗🌹🌹💗

  7. It makes me laugh when you say that you want to go to the backside of the property as backside also means bum!

  8. Hey Maureno, Explomo, what an unbelievably interesting home of a man, whose passion in collecting a lot of different things, is really showing off! When looking at all his books and different items, I also think, that he must have been a highly educated man. – I found his African art items very remarkable; in some parts they even might have some considerable value! Also the stone collections are impressive to see. The former owner must have been a truly remarkable man, when he was even knighted, as you told. – With the bed and breakfast part in his home he certainly managed to make a living. – Great explore video, bro! I very much enjoyed watching.
Wishing you a really blessed time, peace and happy greetings.

  9. This might not have been a bed & breakfast. It seems intended more for housing seasonal workers.

  10. Man this is 1 of ur best video .it's so crazy how all this is left untouched .I hope somebody fine out what happened to the owner love this .thanks for sharing

  14. He seems to have collected African folklore morbidly. It's not a home, it's like a warehouse. How futile is it because he can't take even one with him when he dies?

  15. Hola, me gustan los videos, pero la traducción es una cagada, nada que ver con lo que relata ,me molesta .
