The adidas City Series has taken the Three Stripes around the world, adding local touchstones and cultural flair to sneakers saluting the brand’s global footprint. The latest silhouette continues a cross-continental celebration of Japan, bringing together Japanese sneaker retailer Billy’s with UK sneaker shop size? for a two-pack celebrating the city of Kyoto.
The Billy’s x size? x adidas Kyoto pack features two shoes, one designed by each retailer. The Billy’s colorway starts with a fuzzy suede green upper inspired by the tea houses of Kyoto, the color of matcha, and “the moss that spreads in the garden of a tea house.” The beige color on the Three Stripes and heel tab was used to represent the bamboo whisk used to make matcha and the bamboo townhouses in Kyoto.

Skipping over to England, the size? colorway takes inspiration from Kyoto’s jazz clubs. The colorway starts with dark brown suede on the upper to represent the inside of a dimly lit hideaway, with blue on the Three Stripes to represent the glow of bar lights, and red on the heel tab inspired by jazz posters and record sleeves. This is the second time Billy’s and size? have connected for a Japan City Series pack, following a Sapporo collection earlier this year.
The Billy’s x size? X adidas Kyoto Pack will be released for pre-order November 15, 2025, with a full release scheduled on November 21. 2025. Each shoe will be released exclusively through the collab shop. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at ¥15,400 (approx $100).
