Dwight Ramos and AJ Edu continued their impressive runs as Levanga Hokkaido and the Gunma Crane Thunders maintained their strong form in a jam-packed 13-game Japan B.LEAGUE midweek slate.

There’s no slowing down Dwight Ramos’ Levanga Hokkaido and AJ Edu’s Gunma Crane Thunders as both squads continue to surge in the Japan .

Ramos delivered a team-high 20 points, steering Hokkaido to a tight 95-93 victory over the Saga Ballooners that stretched their winning streak to five. 

Import Jahlik Okafor chipped in 19 points, six rebounds, and five assists as Levanga improved to 12-4, drawing level with defending champions Utsunomiya Brex for second place in the Eastern Conference.

Edu, for his part, contributed seven points, six rebounds and six assists in a 94-70 blowout Crane Thunders blowout of the Ibaraki Robots. 

The win marked the Gunma’s sixth straight victory and improved their record to 10-6, placing them fourth in the East.

Other winners included Francis Lopez and the Fighting Eagles Nagoya, who rolled past the Shiga Lakes, 92-69, to improve to 6-10.

On the flip side, Ray Parks Jr. drilled the overtime-sending triple in regulation but the Osaka Evessa couldn’t prevent a tough 93-86 defeat to the Ryukyu Golden Kings.
The 32-year-old lefty tallied 20 points, but Osaka still fell in its fourth defeat in five games, sliding to 6-10 in the Western Conference.

Moreover, Kiefer Ravena’s Yokohama B-Corsairs continue to struggle, falling 75-65 to the Akita Northern Happinets—their sixth loss in seven games—dropping to 5-11 in the East.
