Exploring Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto
follow along as we explore kumu temple in Kyoto it’s a long and Uphill walk from the last bus stop but there’s many different stores and restaurants for you to go into to cool off you have two different angles the outer area is free to explore and there’s quite a lot to see I also really enjoyed seeing everybody in their kimonos but today was really hot so I don’t know how they were doing it that LE there’s Bree it was really hard to multitask so I couldn’t take any cute photos I’ll just have to do that when I’m back for vacation we had some time to explore so we got our ad took it washed our hands and then headed in I didn’t realize where we actually were until I finally saw the view this is one of my bucket list places that I want to visit during fall because all the leaves turn into beautiful red and orange colors I also expect that it’s much cooler in the fall which would make wearing a kimono much more comfortable I think regardless of the Season it does get very busy so you don’t get a lot of solo photo opportunities there’s quite a lot to see once you’re inside including this challenge to see if you could lift this iron staff I bought a bunch of charms and we even got our Fortune red you shake this thing until a stick falls out and that determines your fortune I did a Google translate and it didn’t read as specifically bad or good but you tell me also be mindful when visiting temples and shrines many places do require you to be a little more covered up we ended our visit by walking all the way down to this water blessing area not exactly sure what it’s called
