Completed in 1993, the Yokohama Landmark Tower itself was, for a period, Japan’s tallest building, a testament to the nation’s architectural ambition and engineering prowess. Ascending to the Sky Garden is an experience in itself, facilitated by one of Japan’s fastest elevators, which whisks visitors to the 273-meter-high deck in approximately 40 seconds. From this vantage point, guests can enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree vista, extending to Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower, and even Mount Fuji on exceptionally clear days, providing a dynamic spectacle from day to night.
Please note, the Sky Garden is scheduled for a temporary closure for extensive renovations starting December 31, 2025, with a planned reopening in 2028 or later.
