◇ Hokkaido Nippon-Ham-Ham Fighters’ Go Matsumoto exercises his free agent rights

It was announced that Hokkaido Nippon-Ham-Go Matsumoto has informed the team of his intention to exercise his domestic free agent (FA) rights and has submitted his application documents. In his 14th year as a professional, Go Matsumoto struggled this season with a batting average of .188 in 66 games, but he had been registered as a player for eight years and had therefore acquired domestic FA rights.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham will hold a “2025 New Player Welcome Event” at ES CON FIELD on Monday, November 24th (a national holiday) from 10:00 AM. Seven players (planned) selected in the 2025 draft will attend and talk about their current state of mind and their enthusiasm for the upcoming season.
