Tokyo Christmas Lights 2025 – Roppongi & Ueno Park Illuminations
As soon as Halloween passes us by, the winter illuminations around Tokyo start to come up, starting the first week of November. By the end of the month, we should see the Christmas lights around town in full swing! Roppongi has some of, if not THE, earliest Christmas lights in town. So went to go and check it out near opening day, along with a early winter illumination show in Ueno park during the holiday weekend.

Hi VJ. I've just been watching some other 4k HDR videos of the Winter illuminations. I have a good quality calibrated display (LG G5 65"). I was seeing crushed blacks, blown out highlights, clipping and just downright terrible exposure. Guys using DJI's and phones. I actually said to my wife I miss the quality videos from VJ. And behold a VJ video drops. Thanks man. I hope you get to do some more and hope all going well with your family.
