Japonya’nın ÇILGIN Gece Hayatı – TOKYO’da Gördüklerime İNANAMADIM

Welcome to Japan. The place you see behind me is a nightclub where women go to meet men. That’s the Turkish translation. Here you go. Japan. They don’t let Turks in. It even made the news. Most of what you see from the outside isn’t innocent. We sleep in casinos in Japan, but it’s Japan’s other side. People sleep on the floor. So, it’s not like what we see online. Prices in Japan are almost the same as in Turkey. Enjoy the show. I wish you a wonderful nightlife experience in Japan. Here we go. Aura Seblon Unix, Turkey’s leading water purifier brand, presents. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Tokyo leg of my world tour. In the previous episode, I took you on a wonderful trip to Tokyo, Japan. I told you how I got here and shared a day of my life with you. I gave you information about both Japan and Tokyo. Today, we’ll experience a wild Friday evening in Tokyo, Japan, the world’s largest metropolis. I plan to tell you everything I eat, drink, the streets, the nightlife, the prices. This is my third time here . I’ve always said Japan was the best country I’ve ever visited, and today I want to show and share it with you. You’ll see some really crazy things. So, when you watch the video to the end, your preconceptions and opinions about Japan might change. So, as I always say, I’d appreciate it if you could pause a video before starting it and leave a comment like, “My dear Deniz, we’re following you with great interest. Have a great holiday! Japan is so beautiful!” to support me algorithmically. That’s how YouTube works. And if we get over 10,000 likes, there’s no one better. We can continue our energetic journey. That’s how YouTube’s algorithm works, bringing my videos to you. So, you can be a part of my world tour. I’m currently in the Shinichiku district of Tokyo. I’m in a place like that. I’m going to start having dinner here soon. I’ll taste the local cuisine and take you to its nightclubs. I’ll take you to its bars and nightclubs. We’ll experience each of them together, one by one . You’ll enjoy watching it in front of your screens. I’ll be satisfied and entertained. I’ll tell you about it. So, enjoy! I hope I have a wonderful Tokyo, Japan, nightlife trip. Here we go. Our trip is starting with the support of Aura Sebon water purifiers. Look how many pins I’ve already pinned in Tokyo. See, friends? This is all research. Imagine a metropolis. We’re on this O-shaped side of this metropolis. This is an area called Shinjuku. The station we’re going to in a minute is also written like this: Shinjuku. It’s famous for its nightlife venues and restaurants . The restaurant we’re going to is called Roboto. Robot’s Place. We’re going to go there and have dinner. Look at it this way. When I do some research online, I usually make my decision based on photos. They have fish, sushi, meat, sake—it looks like a nice place where we can find whatever we want. Let’s go eat here. Come on. It’s a bright Tokyo night under the shadow of neon lights. Dude, would you look at how cute these restaurants are? What I love most about Japan is the different alphabets, the signs that look like anime and cartoon characters, the menus, the kindness of people’s voices, the cleanliness, and also the constant, unending life. It’s 24/7 here. Especially in this area, there are 24-hour shopping malls. Just think, there are restaurants too. You can go at 3 a.m. and eat ramen or sushi. There are supermarkets open 24/7. That ‘s why you’ll never go hungry. And most interestingly, the prices in Japan are almost the same as in Turkey. I’ll show you and explain this at the restaurant we’re going to . I hope I’m right. You’ll agree. I understand this is the place. Everything is written in Japanese. There’s no English or Latin name. So let’s be sure. Let’s ask. They make the food in the middle, and you sit at tables around it, in full Japanese style. It looks beautiful. Come on. There was a little misunderstanding. Our place was downstairs. Come on. I found it online. Let’s see, hopefully, it’s good that I’m not embarrassed. We’ve never eaten or drank anything bad in Japan before. Anyway, this is it. They’re very professional and respectful of their work. There’s no chance of it going wrong. Welcome to Japan. They make you take off your slippers. Rabatasha. God willing, we’ll find a seat. Dawn is very difficult without a reservation in many places here. I think they will. Come on, come on. YouTuber, there’s two hours. You’ll be waiting a long time. Finding a seat in Japan is usually a death sentence. You’ll even pay for seating. That’s why they especially require a reservation for dinner. It’s essential to make a reservation in advance when going to such good restaurants . I’m saying this so you don’t make the same mistake I did. But luckily, it was the branch above the restaurant downstairs. It was the first place I filmed. They said, “Come on, let’s have you eat here.” We barely found a seat. They barbecue right there inside. They cook the food right there. Now we’re going to have dinner . They sat us in the corner right there. This is the atmosphere we have. They’ll cook the fish right here in front of us . We’ll enjoy the meat and chicken too. Since we’re in Japan, we couldn’t do without drinking their sake, which is made from rice. Now we’re going to drink sake. They pour it into glasses and carafes like this. This costs about 1000 yen, about $6. They’re very sweet and polite people. They don’t like cameras at all. We realized they were being filmed. That was the sound of all the employees saying, “Thank you so much for coming,” as customers left. You heard it live. They said, “Thank you.” God, may God bless you for making me experience these scenes. He’s just grilled these fish. We’re going to eat fish. You see an English menu in my hand. You’ll see a Japanese menu almost everywhere you go. Certain places have English. And this fish we’re going to eat costs 1680 yen, or about $11. If we eat chicken, it’s 1380 yen, or about $8. So I’m in Tokyo. I’m in the most famous district. Aren’t the prices very reasonable? If I’m wrong, write in the comments. I mean, even though we’re in one of the most perceived expensive countries in the world. Since we came to Japan, it wouldn’t be complete without sake. Oh, sashimi. Sashim. Well, we found it nice. Cheers, Dawn. Bon appetit. You don’t drink this right now . Slowly. It’s so good. Wine. Like wine. Fruity. Isn’t it like wine? They charge 400 yen here when you sit down, but they give you complimentary sashimi. We’ll eat it like this now. Bon appetit. The girl is explaining the fish. She says this fish, this fish, one by one. I didn’t understand any of it. Just chips, it’s fish. We’re not that gourmet , after all, but I’m sure it’ll be delicious. I’ve never had anything bad. Have you tried it yet? Look, this is so good. Is it good? Very good. It’s practically raw fish, but it’s so obvious it’s raw. A fish like this. How can raw fish be so delicious? It’s so good. We asked for a knife to eat this mushroom, but they wouldn’t give it. He says no. We’re supposed to eat it with chopsticks . I said let’s cut it. He said no. He said just throw it in your mouth. I said we’ll burn. He said nothing will happen. The water spills out. You’re eating the most expensive mushroom in the world right now. The most expensive? Yes. That mushroom is 3 dollars apiece. It’s a single mushroom. How? Good. Çıntar. Çıntar mushroom. H. God, it’s as delicious as meat. It was delicious. I ordered a fish and a chicken. They even make flying fish here. Fish, you know, flies on water, for example. You can eat that. There are plenty of them in Turkey too. In the Mediterranean, we especially ordered something like this. A fish like this. We’ll eat this. Again, no fork, no spoon, nothing. With our hands and chopsticks. Rice. How am I supposed to stand a swordfish on it? Look at the kşe. We also ordered chicken. We’ll eat that in a minute. Oh, it’s so hot. It’s so good. It’s grilled over charcoal in front of you. It’s a juicy fish. Look, it far surpassed my expectations. Very good fish. Look, it’s like laoz, it was worth the wait. I wasn’t so hopeful about the fish. It’s salted because it was cooked with salt. It’s amazing. I’ve had the best chicken in the world in Japan. Now we also ordered chicken. We had chicken last night with Şafakhel. How was it? You can’t say it looks like this. You’ll even say, ” Don’t yell, girl.” You’ll even say, “I don’t know how delicious a chicken can be, I mean how is that possible, but I ate it here.” It’s not delicious. They make amazing chicken. Now we ordered chicken tenders. We ordered chicken. We’re eating it. Look at it, juicy and juicy, cooked on a pristine white barbecue. They don’t add any garnishes to it. Because it’s very expensive. There’s nothing bad here. Nothing bad. Everything is great here. Did you say anything? Is there anything bad you could say? No. From the people, transportation, cleanliness, and food, everything is superb. The chicken is also very good. Isn’t Japan Japan for nothing? I don’t call Japan Japan for nothing. Bon appetit. I hope I inspire and guide you too. Think about chasing your dreams. There are many beautiful things to experience in life. My brother Şafa’s big dream was to see these places, but he has a lucky individual guide. I hope you too, at least in front of your screens, with my guidance, are inspired. Just kidding. Bon appetit. We’ll get the energy and experience the Tokyo nightlife. Of course, you’re wondering. How much did I pay for a table like this? We weren’t full, so we could have eaten more. But the price we paid was only 2,200. We drank two sake jars . We had fish. The Tasmimis arrived, and so did the chicken. You can have a meal like this. You can think of it as about 202 dollars for 1,000 per person . Now the Japanese girls walked by. See? He thought he was filming them. They covered their faces. He saw. They don’t really like cameras. They absolutely hate cameras. They immediately get embarrassed. Some say it’s because they don’t consider themselves beautiful. It’s because they’re embarrassed. That’s why, if you eat unlimited meat at a meal like this, for example, you’d pay 3,000 or 4,000 yen. So, that’s about $30. I think it’s quite reasonable for a place like Tokyo. Now we’re continuing our wanderings. I’ll show you how people have fun at night. I also want to see the venues. But it got incredibly crowded tonight. We walked around here yesterday because our hotel was nearby. There weren’t any crowds like that. Because it wasn’t Friday evening . That’s why I think it’s going to be quite crowded here today. The market will be busy. We’re still early. Many nightclubs, bars, and so on should be open. People are usually more concentrated under single-story buildings like this, on this side. They kind of chill out in the evening, so to speak. We have another restaurant. Let’s try it out. I saw it before, wrote about it, and pinned it. I want to show you it. It’s very crowded today. Look, for example, this is a seafood restaurant. They sell mostly grilled, giant crabs like this . King Crab. There’s even crab fishermen on the Discovery Channel . They eat huge crabs like that. Ocean crabs. They’re very expensive. Some sell for a few thousand dollars a kilo. They love it in this country. You see it in many places. But the standard scene in Japan is like this: they set up their little tables under single-story buildings. They eat their food in a minimalist way. Look, the place we were going to was called Oyster Ink . Their oysters are very famous. It’s in the back on the left. Maybe there’s a place like this . Here’s the name of the place we’ve arrived at. It’s a place called Oyster Ink. It’s a small place in the middle of the streets we just showed. We’ll call it oyster . There are certain rules when you sit down in many places in Japan . They bring out a menu like this so foreigners can understand. And I can only sit here for a maximum of two hours. And they expect you to eat and drink at least one thing. They even politely write it here. They even say, “If you’re feeling unwell, we won’t order for you.” So, now we’ll order oysters. After all, we’re in an oceanic country. We’re an island nation. They love seafood, and they’re very good at it. I love tasting and sharing things like this in the countries I visit. As you can tell by the crowd, they’re consumed a lot here. They’re very popular. Prices are usually around $30 for 12 oysters. So, about $2.50 for one, which is quite reasonable by world standards. While we’re here, let’s try a Japanese oyster. They’re truly the meatiest oyster I’ve had lately. Just as mussels are very common here, they are also very common in Europe and similar countries. You squeeze the lemon on top and actually eat it. You kill it with lots of lemon. It goes something like this. You may like it, you may not, but those who have had it will know exactly what I mean. It’s amazing. It’s so meaty, so filling. I loved it. One of these costs around $1,000. In Europe , it’s $78. You can also find it for $10 or $15. That’s why it’s one of the most enjoyable things in Japan. Now we can walk to the heart of the nightlife, friends. It’s already past 11 o’clock. Everything is ablaze. The most central point of the Shinshuku district starts down there. I showed you in the previous episode. That’s where the cat is in 3D. We’re walking there now. Don’t go. Where are you going? Come on. You’ll return to Fethiye, for God’s sake. Don’t lose me. Just think, we’re all just grains of sand on the beach in our lives. What kinds of lives exist in different parts of the world? You know, sometimes I don’t want to explain anything. I just want you to see and empathize . Look at these worlds. For example, they practically live in anime life . It’s a completely different world. Casinos are banned in Japan, but they’ve managed to keep it this way. I never recommend it. Never play. But there’s a culture here: Pachinko culture. They go and play games in casinos. They take their winnings elsewhere through a barter system . From another building, for example. For example, you win a game. After you win, they give you a Red Bull or a Coke. Then you get a slip of paper. With that slip, they take you to another building. You can collect your money from that building. This system has become their culture. One of the places behind me is like that. I don’t know if I can withdraw. I’ll try my luck. Let’s see what it’s like. You’ll see. It’s a shop like this. They play pachinko. It’s a machine like this. You insert your money here. The goal is to get it here. When you win, you can collect your money from there. Let’s see what happens. Let’s invest. I’m really upset inside. Young and old, especially the elderly, come here a lot to unwind. There are addicts. They say they open at around 8:00 in the morning, for example. They’d come and wait in line just to play. That’s why I didn’t want to show too much of the content and set such a bad example. I hate all forms of gambling. But Japan had this culture. If I’ve shown you Pachinko at night, now we can go to the nightclubs in the Sinjiko area. That’s Japan’s most famous nightclubs, its nightlife area. You can also eat everywhere . There are some really cute restaurants. And those famous Godzilla statues. They kind of create a fire at certain times. They love it, and it’s also a touristy place to take photos at night. That’s why you see so many tourists here. You can think of it as our Aksaray in Istanbul. People constantly block your path. Women, especially old ladies, who offer to do things, often use them. But of course, they don’t come because they have cameras . They immediately walk away, and people even cover their faces. You’ve probably noticed . So, this area is actually a bit like Japan’s 18 districts. Behind me, you can see some of Japan’s biggest surprise clubs . You pay 8,000 yen and they come here and entertain you. That’s about $5,060. It’s so famous that you can see it everywhere. But then there are places where only women go. Actually, this is the other side of Japan. It’s very popular, very common. Tourists love it, but so do the locals. This is what this whole neighborhood is about. Welcome to the slightly wilder side of Japan. The place behind me is the nightclub where women go for men. That’s the Turkish translation. There are photos. You can see how clear it is. For example, some men gain popularity in certain months , and their prices increase. They come just to see it, to dance with it. It’s more of a method they use for dancing, socializing, and chatting. In Japan, for example, you see the famous men of this month at Tab Dend Tokyo . They post their looks and photos, and Japanese women go just to see them . There are really interesting things in Tokyo. Look how many places there are. It’s endless. Which one will you take? And you can see them all. The minimum entrance fee is $100 for two people. Yes. It’s now truly nighttime. People have started pouring into the streets. Believe me, most of what you see from the outside in Japan isn’t innocent. There are places and venues where you can see what we call Japan’s other face. Of course, we won’t go there to film them. I can’t publish them, but there are some truly interesting places. But there are also some very nice bars and nightclubs here. I want to show you a few of them. They don’t allow Turks. This even made the news. In fact, a lot of people on Instagram shared that they don’t allow Turks, and that the sign at the door warned against accepting Turkish and Pakistani passports. A few Turks I met here said the same thing today. I asked them about it just to be sure. We’re heading there now. We’ll see what happens. They probably won’t let us in either. Even if you don’t have a physical passport, you can show it online. It’s valid here. We’ll use it. I’m curious to see what happens. We’re heading there now. We’ll be at that place in 5 minutes on foot. I have no idea why this happened, but unfortunately, it is. Yes, it was here. It’s a place called Zera Tokyo. It means Zero Tokyo. We went here yesterday. It was very quiet that evening, but I’ve never experienced such a problem. It’s not like what we saw online. So, what’s our problem? We tell it like it is. That ‘s not the case here. Maybe a few months ago, a few weeks ago. I don’t know, but we showed our passports when we went in yesterday. There were no problems. So, this is the place they say Turks aren’t allowed. But we didn’t experience that problem. I didn’t like it much today. That’s why there are better places here. I want to show you there. Let’s go a little ways back. Let’s see one of the nightclubs there. Come on. By the way, I left that out on purpose because I probably can’t hear you. Are you ready, Şevak? We are. How’s Japan going? Always ready. It’s beautiful. It’s a wonderful place. I’d come to Japan again. Would you? I would too. That’s why we’re not saying Japan is so beautiful for nothing. Come on. Now let me show you another crazy thing in Japan. You see a huge empty square behind me. Right? Do you know why they don’t let people in? They get high. They cause chaos. And among those innocent people, you might think, a different character suddenly emerges, especially after drinking at night. That’s why they’ve barricaded the entire area like this to keep them from messing around. There are some young people over there. They don’t interfere with them, but Cem taught me this last year. Cem told me. I still see it here, right now. Because you’ll understand better why they do it here in a minute . Here’s the other side of Japan, which is said to have no garbage . People are sleeping on the ground. Look, it’s incredible. Look, these young people, for example, have come and brought their speakers. They’re listening to music and scattering it. And look, one of them is sleeping on the ground. Unbelievable. You might say Japan. Here you go, Japan. These places have become full-blown streets. I mean, on the one hand, I’m scared. I’m thinking, “Will something happen to us?” And on the other hand, I’m wondering, “What’s going to happen?” Now look, this is a neighborhood with the world’s smallest bars. You’ll see in a minute. If you walked in, with all these tiny houses, you’d barely be able to handle five people. It’s like this. You know, you want to step into a movie set, to get that feel and feel of Japan . This is the famous place in Shinjuku. I don’t know its name, by the way. Cem brought me here before. That’s why I remember it. It’s a very interesting place with lanterns, upper floors , and tiny shops. It’s not the best place for fun. I’m going to take you somewhere bigger now . A place where it’s a real party. I’ve never been there before. By the way, the place we’re at is called Atom. Come on, Şafak, let’s go. This is Atom. Yes. Here’s the entrance for ok e argato. We’ll enter from here. What did we do without the internet? Thanks to the internet, it’s that easy. We can find that women pass by fast, men slow down. It’s the same rule even in Japan. Come on, man. What’s this place? Move quietly, let’s not get into trouble. It’s going to be packed. This is the best place. Come in Tokyo. Good morning. We had a blast last night. It was great. The place was even more packed than we expected. A whole world of people from the West. Speaking of Japanese, it was chaos inside. Hundreds, maybe more than a thousand people were having fun. The lighting and the constantly changing music created a nice ambiance. So, we actually went to one of the best places in Japan, in Shinjuka . They didn’t allow cameras inside. So everyone filmed with phones. I don’t know if Japan was what you expected or if it was something you already knew, but especially in those streets, with people on the ground, crazy places, separate men and women , Tokyo is a place where you can find almost everything you’re looking for in nightlife . I’ve been to places like Osaka, Kobe, and Nara before . Osaka is a bit like that, but Tokyo is truly out of control . But even if you don’t see many nightclubs and venues, you find places to go. It seems we have a lot more. Consider the number of nightclubs, if you look at it. That’s why you can visit certain places . I asked my Turkish friends who live here, and they said almost the same thing I did, both in terms of location and region. So, friends, thank you for watching. I think it was a wonderful night, a wonderful evening. I hope I’ve provided useful information for you if you’re coming to Japan. I’ll leave the details to you . Where will you stay? What’s in each area? You can see which venues we visited from there. I’ll get ready now, because in the next episode, I’ll introduce you to a Turkish folk song married to a Japanese woman living in Japan. We’ll travel together. We’ll both be traveling in Tokyo and I’ll continue sharing information about the country . To continue watching videos like this from my world tour, subscribe to my channel, press the bell, and activate notifications . I share videos like this with you every Wednesday and Sunday . As you know, it’s been years. I hope you ‘ve enjoyed your time in front of your screens. That’s all for now. In the next episode, we’ll pick up where we left off in Tokyo. Goodbye. Goodbye. Turkey’s leading water purification brand, Aura Sebon Uni, presents.
