Osaka Travel Vlog – 2nd hand shopping, Nintendo World

We’ve landed now in Japan, specifically in Osaka to start our Japan side of our trip. So, if you haven’t watched my Korea vlog, I’ll make sure to link it below and just look up on the playlist that’ll be there. But, this will be about a 6 day or 7-day stay in Japan, 3 days here in Osaka, and then three nights in Tokyo. So, we’ve just checked into the W Hotel. Let’s check out the room. [Music] Heat. [Music] Hey, Heat. [Music] If you’ve been watching my channel, you know that today is the marathon on shopping day. So, I will be doing a lot of walking around and shopping today. It’ll be like a scavenger hunt. So, going to refresh, change, and run out. [Music] We started off with some sushi, salmon, and salmon with salmon row. And then I got a super fat tuna belly or something. And then they’re so good here. Smells so good. [Music] [Music] Okay, so we just had an amazing array of sushi. So good. I’m so full, but I am energized and ready to tackle this 5hour shopping/cavenger hunt. It’s already started out with a fail. We tried to check out PopMart. There was a line and a lottery and I was like, “Not doing that. That does not fit into my 5hour shopping spree. Right across from it is Onuka Tiger.” And I was like, “Great. There’s something there that I want.” Um, it is like insanity in there. I was like, “That also does not fit into my 5-hour shopping spree.” So now we are going to Shinsai Bashi Suji which I guess is like line from like left and right side with um secondhand retail stores. So let’s do this. We’ve trained all three weeks for this. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Oh, [Music] hey oh. [Music] Want to be just like you. Want to be to be just like you. Just be on you. [Music] Want to be just for you. be like you want to be just like you. [Music] So, my 5hour shopping scavenger hunt failed miserably. My phone died probably about halfway through. And my plan was to do a one sweep around of all the stores I wanted to go to, catalog and photograph like all of the bags that I had in mind and then compare them in prices and in condition and then go back to the place and actually try it on and purchase it. That was probably a little too optimistic and too overly ambitious. Such is my life. I’m always like, I can do it. I can do it. And then it comes to it and I’m like, just kidding. So, I will be skipping out on tomorrow’s activities like the Naro Park, but he will still be going and petting all of the deer. Hopefully, a deer. Hopefully, they don’t bite me. It’s just him and the deer. Oh, we’ll take videos and photographs and send it to me. So, now we’re just going to go around the street that I was just at and just do like a leisurely stroll, check out maybe some of the um cute like anime and Pokémon shops and do some light shopping. Tapanyaki and tapayaki. Oh, she was just I don’t know if people saw she was just carrying a Seline Phantom. I love it here so much. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Want to be just like you. We’re right here along the river. We also promised ourselves that we wouldn’t be overindulging, especially on alcohol. So, we only promised ourselves one drink for the night. Just one beer tonight. Just the one. Just the one drink. [Music] [Music] Heat. Hey. Hey. Hey. [Music] We are just relaxing now and getting a much needed beauty rest finally. Tomorrow is no alarm clock day. So, we’re just going to sleep in and hopefully we wake up at some point. The partner will be going to Nara Park. I will be doing my official shopping day. I’ve already bookmarked the places that I want to go to and the bags that I’ve seen and I’ve cataloged them into price range, color, and brands, and location. There are still a few stores that I want to go to. Um, so wish me luck that I get something. Yeah. See you guys tomorrow. Bye. [Music] So, I got this oniiri with salmon. And they also had these already like prepackaged coffee drinks. I got a caramel latte from cutlet and egg. And then we also got some grilled no fried cheese for breakfast. Sure. M. These are nuggets. Uh, we love ordering through like a little vending machine thing. Just takes the whole language barrier out of the question. There’s photos. You know exactly what you’re going to get. And like it really makes the whole thing a lot smoother. The broth was very, very good. It has so much depth of flavor. Like after you I took a sip of the broth, I had to wait at least like 5 or 10 seconds to actually taste every bit and layer of the flavor profile, which was really, really good considering it wasn’t even like a fine dining place. It was just someone’s like regular kitchen. So, it was very, very good. Now, we are off to enjoy the night. The big plan for tomorrow is Nintendo World. Yay! We get I feel like while we’re here, we’re just eating and then becoming little kids again and enjoying the things that we used to love as kids. So, yeah, it’s a journey back to our childhood. The plan is basically the whole day at Universal Studios Japan. We really want to check out the Nintendo World. So hopefully we get uh timed entry tickets there. U but of course as you know we got to stay start out the day with some breakfast. So we’re going to the best breakfast place in town and that is at their local grocery store called Lawson. We had a really good breakfast yesterday. So we’re going to hope that today is good too. Thank you. Mixed tuna. Is this spam? Pork omelette and tuna mayonnaise. That sounds interesting. What do we want to drink? What do we want to drink? I think I’ll try the oicha latte. Let’s try the bonito flakes today. [Music] Girl, you got me down so bad. I can’t say enough. But I got to do it for the fashion because it’s so cute. I love it so much. I I think I might live in this. I might go to work in this. I’ll sleep in this. I’ll go to the gym in this. It’s just so cute and it’s so soft. I keep petting my head. But um yeah, we’re taking a break. We’re getting some lunch. We’re here at a random like restaurant in the Amityville section or AMT section um that I guess is featured on Jaws. So everything is like Jaws themed. So we just got some basic I think this is like a popcorn poboy sandwich thing with fries. We’ll probably just like roam around. we’re not going to do any of the rides just because the wait times was like 2 hours or like sometime one of them was like 200 minutes. I was like um no thank you. Now we’re just going to enjoy some food before we head back out there. [Music] Can we just be born? [Music] Can we just be born? I think it’ll still get us there in what 2 and 1/2 hours? 2 and 1/2 hours from Osaka to Tokyo. Feel the speed. Yeah, you really do feel the speed. But it’s surprisingly very very smooth. I will be going to take a nap and see you in Tokyo. Bye.
