A Super Kawaii Christmas

Sanrio Puroland will be celebrating the holiday season with new shows, illuminations, character greetings, merchandise and food from November 7 to December 25.

Shows and Attractions

For a limited time, the Sanrio Character Boat Ride will be transformed into Puroland Illumination Christmas. The updated attraction will feature Jochum, a character co-developed by the popular global boy band JO1 and Sanrio, for the first time at the theme park. A commemorative photo will be taken during the ride, and guests can purchase a print with special photo frame designs.

In celebration of Little Twin Stars’ 50th anniversary, Sanrio Puroland will collaborate with Naked, Inc. for a special illumination event, Twinkle Gift Night at the Kiki and Lala Twinkling Studio. The interactive area features an array of lights, projections and installations for a magical experience that guests can play around.

For 10 minutes after the park opens, a variety of characters will come out dressed in festive costumes to welcome in guests. Fans can also meet characters in their seasonal costumes during Puroland’s Christmas Special greetings at the events corner. This is a ticketed experience with an additional fee, and provides an opportunity for more interactions. Merchandise

The holiday season will introduce a variety of new limited-edition merchandise at the park’s main Entrance Shop including plush keychains, stickers, mini towels and Christmas cookies. Customers who make purchases over ¥5000 will receive one random character Instax photo.

Food and Drinks

Sanrio Puroland’s many restaurants will have Christmas-exclusive menus. New menu items include the Little Twin Stars Christmas morning set with a fluffy pretzel, Hello Kitty’s omelette curry, Pompompurin’s miracle ice cream, Cinnamoroll’s rare cheese pudding parfait, Wish Me Mel’s apple and orange canelé custard crepe and more. These menu items will be available to order at the Character Food Court, the Sanrio Rainbow World Restaurant, the Cinnamoroll Dream Cafe and the Sweet Parlor.
