京都伏見稻荷一日遊|南禪寺水路閣・千本鳥居|必訪紅葉景點|日本旅行Vlog
Hello everyone, welcome to travel with Winson and Mico We are now heading to Kyoto Station. Our first stop today is Nanzenji Temple. To get to Nanzenji Temple from Kyoto Station, we need to take the subway to Karasuma Oike Station and then transfer to the Tozai Line to Keage Station. It takes about half an hour in total. The subway fare is 260 yen. It is the autumn season now, so there are some advertising signs along the way This tunnel is for pedestrians only and is a shortcut connecting Keage Station with Nanzenji Temple and Eikan-do Temple. after exiting this tunnel is like entering another world. To enter Nanzenji Temple, must first pass through the huge “Three Gates”. These three gates are known as the “Dragon Gate of the World” and are considered one of the three major gates of Kyoto and Japan. The so- called Three Gates refer to the “Empty Gate”, “No-Appearance Gate”, and “No-Work Gate”. They are essential for understanding Buddhist practice. The three gates you pass through are also called “Mountain Gate” represent the temple’s main gate. Suirokaku Aqueduct The Suirokaku is part of the Lake Biwa Canal. Built as a red brick arch bridge, it combines Western classical style with Eastern temple scenery. It is a very photogenic spot , attracting many photography enthusiasts. The autumn morning light makes this place even more beautiful. No wonder countless influencers come here to take pictures. Fushimi Inari Fushimi Inari Thousand Books Senboninari is a famous tofu sushi shop. We were just passing by but the tofu sushi here looked delicious and some of the flavors were quite unique. We chose shichimi, wasabi, shiitake mushrooms, and sesame. If you want to enjoy it right away, you can stand by and eat a five-piece pack for 750 yen. The tofu skin is juicy and the seasoning is just right. very delicious and highly recommended. 👍 As you exit Keihan Electric Railway Fushimi Inari Station, you’ll pass a short shopping street that’s very crowded with tourists. There are also some small stalls and businesses along the way that you can visit. Sohonke Hogyokudo Sohonke Hogyokudo is a famous, long-established shop specializing in handmade pancakes. Their fox-faced pancakes are a popular item, and the owner makes them fresh daily. The aroma is rich, and the texture is crispy, making them a must-try. Fushimi Inari Shrine Omotesando is a popular spot, and the area is bustling with people. There are many stalls selling Japanese snacks, and it’s quite lively. After a stroll we decided to have a cup of tea and a break. The space inside Inari Tea House is clean and comfortable and they offer a variety of botanical Man’yecha tea, Kyoto black tea, and Japanese confectionery.¥1,300 and it’s covered in gold foil, making it look quite high-end. The Uji Matcha Parfait Sundae is ¥1,650 (Inari Parfait). ) is very gorgeous, with a small torii on top, a diagram of the layers inside is drawn. 👍 This dessert is not cheap but it is very pleasing to the eye and looks great. 🥰 the flavor combination is also very good. The view from the store is also beautiful, which makes people feel happy. The fatigue from the walk has recovered a lot. After a good rest, we continued to walk forward. Although it is now the end of the autumn season there are still many beautiful views along the way. In front is the famous Thousand Torii, which is probably the most eye-catching part of Fushimi Inari Taisha. It’s also one of Kyoto’s most iconic tourist attractions. A short walk past the Senbon Torii, we returned to the temple grounds Before leaving, we decided to write down our wishes, hoping they would come true. 🥰 After a full day of walking, the sun was setting and we were feeling hungry. There’s a unique ramen shop next to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Since it was still early, we didn’t have to queue, so we decided to give it a try. We used the self-service kiosks, which support multiple languages, making them very convenient for tourists. It’s our first time eating ramen in Japan. There aren’t many seats, so you might have to wait if it’s busy. We ordered the Salmon Pesto Ramen for ¥1,000 and the Salmon Dandan Ramen for ¥1,100. These two bowls of ramen have both traditional flavors and innovative elements and the combination of the two just well adds a deeper flavor to traditional Japanese ramen. The soup is rich, and the noodles are very chewy. This is a ramen shop worth trying. 👍 Back at JR Inari Station we prepared to take the train back to Kyoto Kyoto Station It’s December now, and Christmas is approaching. I unexpectedly stumbled upon an interesting light and shadow show on the rooftop plaza of Kyoto Station. While Kyoto doesn’t have many Christmas decorations, seeing Christmas activities abroad always brings a joyful feeling. 😄 The Skyway is located on the 10th floor of Kyoto Station. It’s a 185-meter-long glass passage connecting the east and west buildings of the station. The lighting has a sci-fi feel to it. This is arguably the best free observation deck in Kyoto. You can see Kyoto Tower and surrounding attractions projected onto its walls. How many of these attractions have you visited? Here, you can even take photos of Kyoto Tower like this!
