Inside an Authentic Wagyu Kaiseki in Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵

We found this restaurant inside the new GRAND GREEN building near Osaka Station. Wabi opened this spring with the approach of wabi-sabi — simplicity married with depth.

The ¥6,000 lunch course we experienced opened with a consomme that set the tone: light yet deep, with notes that would later be in the final sukiyaki. Throughout the meal, Kobe and Omi beef were served grilled, simmered, and seared.

This wasn’t about quantity. It was about balance. A course where vegetables, beef, broth, and tea all found their place on the table.

Totally repeatable!
