4 Observatories YOU CANT MISS in Tokyo, but which is the best!? πŸ—ΌπŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

If it’s your first time visiting Tokyo, save this. We’re ranking the four best observation decks in Tokyo on height, value, price, and experience. Tips on scoring sunset tickets at the end. Kicking off at number four is Tokyo City View at Rapongi Hills. At 250 m, it’s the most budget friendly deck on the list. Highlights, epic Tokyo Tower views, floor to ceiling windows, and some cool rotating art exhibits. We spent the least time here, but it’s totally worth a quick visit. At number three is iconic Tokyo Tower. It has two deck levels and exclusive diamond tour option limited to just 70 people a day. It’s double the price as the top deck ticket. You’ll get an iconic guide, major retro Tokyo vibes, plus access to their luxury Maple Leaf Lounge. It was a tough call, but coming in at number two is Shabuya Sky. Famous for its epic sunsets and that viral escalator leading to an open air deck. It gets crazy crowded at sunset and snagging tickets isn’t easy, but the views of Shabuya Crossing and the glare-free windows make it so worth it. Drum roll, our top pick, Tokyo Skytree. At a jaw-dropping 450 m, the Galleria feels like you’re floating above the clouds. The tempo deck is 350 m, spanning three massive levels packed with photo ops, free photo shoots, and activities to keep you busy for hours. Even with the crowds, the space is so huge, it never felt cramped. Out of all the observation decks, this is where we stayed and smiled the longest. Every deck had something special, and booking through Cluke made it super easy to lock in the timed entry, even for sunset slots. But the exception is Tabuya Sky Sunset slot. It’s next level hard to get. You’ll need to book 30 days in advance on their official site. We were in the online queue with four laptops battling for a spot.
