The West End engagement of SIX: The Musical welcomes six Japanese queens for a strictly limited run November 4.
The critically acclaimed Japanese cast, who toured a Japanese language version of the show to Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya earlier this year, take the stage at the Vaudeville Theatre for one week only, through November 9. They will perform the show in Japanese with English captions.
The cast includes Sonim as Aragon, Meimi Tamura and Maho Minamoto alternating the role of Boleyn, Harumi as Seymour, Eliana and Marie Sugaya alternating the role of Cleves, Airi Suzuki and Erika Toyohara alternating the role of Howard, and Sora Kazuki and Ruki Saito alternating the role of Parr. They are joined by Aoi Tanaka as their music director.
Said the Umeda Arts Theater Team, who produced the original Japanese production, in a previous statement: “We are incredibly honored that Japan has been chosen for the very first foreign-language production of SIX: The Musical in London. We cannot wait for London audiences to feel the power of our unstoppable Japan Original Queens—through a ‘one of a kind, no category’ experience—delivered entirely in Japanese! Otanoshimini!”
