Trying the MOST EXPENSIVE STEAK in the WORLD | A5 WAGYU in Kobe Japan 🥩

This is the most expensive steak in the world. A5 Wagu from Coobe, Japan. The Kaska daily massages, listen to classical music, and some even sip on beer to relax. But is it really worth the hype and that very steep price tag? Let’s find out in Coobe, Japan. Welcome to Kobe. It’s like a little bizarre when you walk out of the train station. Okay, the Japanese people really know how to weekend. We landed up in a mall. When we don’t have plans for the day, we usually land up in a mall. Not like for any reason. Like we don’t plan to go there. We just end up in malls and be fascinated by everything. What did you just do? I bought a Kindle. Yeah. At one of like like well looked after secondhand stuff. There’s so many great secondhand stores in Japan. Then it was finally time to head to downtown Coobe to find the best Wagu. We’re hoping to get in here, but it’s usually fully booked and we don’t have a reservation. This is like the must come place. They said opens at 5:00, but now there’s like this very confusing sign outside which says, “Sorry, we are closed. Open 11 till closed. Open 7 till 8.” And online it is 5. So, we literally don’t know what’s going on and we don’t want to wait until 7:00 because well then all the other places are going to be full cuz we don’t have a reservation anyway. This is very hard. [Music] What can I serve customers on reservation? This is it. This is the beef. This is it. It’s too late. Like like I said, it’s mostly for an offseason. You can sometimes get a space in that is definitely the best place in Kobe, but it is definitely a reservation needed place. Very hard to reserve places in Japan cuz most don’t have online reservations. So, you got to you got to pick up the phone and phone them. And to make a phone call, you need a local SIM card. And if you get through, a lot of people only speak Japanese. So, good luck. If you want a discount on an eim for any country in the world or region, scan this QR code or use the discount code Kimfoke Travels at checkout for any Olafly Eim. So there I mean there is like a million places here like there’s nooks and crannies filled with places. So open backup. They got the sushi. They got the sushi. The the beef, but how hard is it to find a place? This is a good grocery store. This guy’s putting ketchup on his head. So, why did we come all the way to Coobe in Japan for Wagu? Simple. It has the best Wagu. To be called Coobe Wagu, it needs to be part of the Tajima family of cows raised, slaughtered, and processed here in this Hyu Prefecture and many other regulations. While we wait for the restaurant to open, some pre-drinks at an izakaya. You want soda? Oh, soda. saki matcha with cold water. Interesting to see what the locals drink and some very interesting entertainment on the television. They really think we’re the funniest. Bye. Bye bye. We’ll try. I think we found space in a place cuz we’re the only people yet. Excuse me. Hi. 645. Yeah. Sorry. 50. Yeah. Perfect. So, Japan, put your put your mask in this paper case. How can I pick? We are the only people here right now. We’re early. So, we got space. If you want to get a place in Japan, you have to come early. Very early. It’s going to be I’m like so excited. Forgot his Kindle in the bar. So, he meant to go fetch us. So, I’m just sitting here all alone with all my friends. [Music] Good. Wagu beef is known for its perfect marbling. But there’s more to it than just the taste and the texture. Wagu literally means Japanese cow. But first, some starters. Let me try my recipe first. Very good. [Music] Fresh. Good. I think it’s fish, but it’s just so fresh. Jared’s going to try some. I think it’s Don’t say that. I thought it was normal. Jared loves trying different foods. Watch this video where we stayed with Buddhist monks in a mountain and ate all meals with him. Your name? Yla. Mhm. Jared. Jared. And are you from Kobe or from I’m from Kobe beef? This is um an experience. You know you’re ready to eat when you put on your apron. Fat, which is like the best thing. It tastes silky smooth and soft when eating it because of the high contents of unsaturated fat that melts at body temperature. Ready? Yeah. Yes. So good. [Music] Stress hormones toughen meat. So the cows live under minimum stress making the meat super tender. Each Wagu cow in Japan even has a detailed record of their family lineage. You get different grading of Wagu meats and A5 is the best grading and that is what we are trying today. It is a very very special occasion. Yuki, what is that? Corn vegetable. Don’t worry about it. Okay. It’s not liver. Good. Doesn’t not in our country. It’s good for your health. Okay. That’s actually my favorite vegetable. My favorite favorite vegetable. [Music] Are you sure? Yay. Rock sauce. Rock sauce. Sea salt. Sea sauce. And the mustard. Mustard. Mustard. Not peanut butter. Not peanut butter. And the soy sauce. Soy sauce. And the last one is vinegar sauce. Vinegar sauce. I recommend Oh, so good. Good. Mhm. Ch. So good. [Music] Oh, you’re going to love it. Did you just get the whole piece all at once? No regret. It’s so good, right? Very tender. So tender. How good is that? And then your body is just like with garlic chicken. Yeah. Not a pro. It’s good. It’s amazing. [Music] With slices. It looks like meat. And do you like it? It literally tastes like anything. Best food ever. Yeah, I think so. I don’t think you have anything better. Literally. Just melt away. It’s like the juiciest. So nice. We each have one last piece left. My last piece of carrots. Little pieces. How good is that? A reminder that for every 10 new subscribers to this channel, we feed ordinate a meal to a stray animal somewhere in the world. Thanks to you, we fed another 50 stray animals this week. And it doesn’t cost you a thing to subscribe. Thank you. Rice. Rice. Potato. What’s inside [Music] boogie boogie boogie boogie boogie boogie boogie boogie we’re back at our standing bar we’re trying rice potato and barley soju seems very confident no idea what happened but we’re going up she said something about 30 minutes maybe it’s like you can go for 30 minutes wait time She said way too tired. We’re going to go karaoke. So, we made it into our karaoke room. This is going to be so much fun. I’m so excited. So, artist Taylor Swift. [Music] That’s actually pretty cool. So, both have our phones signed and I still want some more. So good to get over. So, we’re not 100% sure of how to get back to our station, but we hope that the next train’s going to No one no one cares because we had a good time and it was so good and I can still taste it. The trains in Kirby is a little because we also have chili babies. Rapid trains going and then they go home but they don’t go to your station because they’re rapid. So, they skip like three. So, it’s very hard to know which train is going to go home. Shinata, we here cuz that side’s going with the mu and this way it’s going yoga. We are staying there hotel wing inside McDonald’s. We are basically staying with Ronald McDonald. What’s better than staying next door to a 7-Eleven? Staying inside a McDonald’s. Not really in the McDonald’s. Staying on top of one. This is McDonald’s. And I’m literally going to go one floor up and I’m going to be home. And the rest of the week was normal life in Coobe. And we got a little window. This is so cool. I’m so happy. No matter your room you get anywhere in Japan, you’ll always have a bath and free coffee machines in the hotels. We spend the rest of the time running to the beach across big bridges and working, working, working and trying the different food from McDonald’s. Taste the chicken, the fried chicken, the pan in their fried chicken. Best things ever. And then you put the cuz it’s shaka shaka chicken and then you put cheese on it. So I put the shaka shaka in and shake it. There’s the t Yeah. [Music] I’m the best terror in the world. [Music] In the next video, we meet 80-year-old strangers on a train to Osaka and end up trying different whiskey bars with them. Subscribe to not miss it and defeat a stray. Thank you so much for watching. Bye.
