We Faked A Luxury All-Inclusive In Cancun | Half The Price!

What is up, travel squad? We are back at it again. Back at it again. We are finally back in Cancun, but today we’re doing something totally different. You know how everyone books those super pricey all-inclusives here in Cancun? What if I told you we figured out how to fake the all-inclusive experience at a true luxury resort for half the price? So, for the next three nights, we’re going to test this hack out and see if it’s actually better than a real all-inclusive. I have very high hopes. And yes, it is 100% safe and legal. So, here’s the thing about all-inclusive. The nightly rate is usually always higher cuz you’re not just paying for the room, you’re paying for the food, the drinks, and all the other activities that are included whether you actually use them or not. So, if you don’t drink much or eat a ton, but want to spend time exploring off property, that premium price tag starts to feel kind of not worth it. So far, we’ve tried three all-inclusives, and here’s what we noticed. The food is a hit or miss, the drinks are watered down, or they just use cheap liquor. And even if the resort has 15 restaurants and most of them are five out of 10, what’s the point? Now, compare that to a nonall-inclusive resort. The food isn’t typically mass-produced and the drinks have a higher quality alcohol and the overall experience just feels more elevated. Take Nisk Spa and Resort. It’s equal luxury to this all-inclusive down the street, but for the same days, the all-inclusive is literally twice the price. So, what if we take the price difference and use the extra money that we’re saving to treat the resort like an all-inclusive, eat and drink whenever and wherever we want. Even if we set like a crazy budget of $400 for food and drinks every day, it still comes out to be cheaper than all-inclusive. And the quality is way better. And here’s the thing. 2 months ago, we didn’t even know about this. And 99% of people never think about it this way. So, I think we’re off to a pretty good start. Oh, look at that. They got the meter drinks or the yard drinks or whatever. Do you want to get one before we go? I mean, it’s a long 20 minute journey over to the resort. Here we go, baby. I forgot how intense everyone is trying to get business from us. Oo, I think I said this last time we were here. It is not the most relaxing start to your vacation. Oh, no, not at all. But you can’t really avoid it. You just have to do heads down. Study where you’re going beforehand. Unless you don’t have plans and then you can do it. Yeah. Then obviously take a taxi. But like Yeah, they they want people. They’ll they’ll do anything. Did you get us a stretch limo SUV? You caught me. Yeah, it was only like an extra thousand. Oh, okay. That’s it. Slapped it down. No, I would that would be really funny if that was also for real. I am happy that it’s actually not that hot in Cancun right now. Usually it’s steaming, but there’s like a nice little breeze going. It’s a little overcast, but at the same time, I’ll take that over it’s sunbeaten down almost. I will absolutely take that. Last time we came down here, we had an all-inclusive. Had a great time, and I’m super excited to try out this resort cuz everything that we seen online, even though it’s not all-inclusive, it looks amazing. Super relaxing, quiet, everything. You definitely found a nice one. And honestly, the owner of our travel agency has been raving about this place since like the first day that we met him. Literally, I could have a whole picture in our room of this. Like, just wake me up with this. It’s like a cucumber sunrise but healthy. And it’s a little sweet, too. Like it’s not like it doesn’t taste like green stuff. I don’t know. They’re bringing a golf cart for us to take over. This place is already so gorgeous. I already feel just like so at peace being here. Like it’s quiet and just like lowkey, but just understated beauty. And this place is not just adults only. is you can bring your kids here, but it’s more tailored to adults. So, that’s why you don’t really see any kids while we’ve been here so far. He said the golf course run 24 hours. So, if I’m just like wandering down the road by myself in the middle of the night, they’ll pick me up. Yep. I’ll just stick my thumb out. Oh, wow. So, we just came out of the elevator. Look at this view right here. So, we found out we got upgraded. Lux Rally hooked us up with a room cuz we were going to get the basic room like you guys saw. Basic room is incredible. They upgraded us to a suite or something like that. the penthouse, which is not even like the highest suite, but it’s it’s up there. So, the video is still the same. We don’t get really anything included. It’s still like we had to pay for everything here and there, but we’re still going off the base rate cuz that’s what we originally signed up for. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. The air is nice. Look how wow the ceilings are tall in here. Laura, this is nice. Oh, you’re kidding. Couch. Is that incense? Since when do hotels or resorts have incense? You can just burn. I’m just in shock at how tall the ceilings are. Look at these windows. Holy crap. Yeah. Check out this view. Big deck area. And we’re looking at the Caribbean Sea, I believe. That is so freaking cool. This place, this is bigger than our apartment if you count the outdoor space. Maybe. Let’s see what’s out here. I call dibs on this Tito’s bottle, though. I found it. Yo, what? What if I just walked right in? Wow. Don’t fall, please. We have our own freaking pool. Wow. Luxurelli definitely hooked it up for us cuz we were just going to get a basic room. Now we have a whole We can literally host a party here. I literally was about to say we could host a party. Like, let’s invite all our friends over. This This can be the wedding. Honestly, this is the reception. That is I wonder how deep that is. And we can just chill out here whenever we want. It’s so quiet. You guys can’t hear anything. Oh, I think those are mangroves down there. Holy crap. Fane. They even included our very own gigantic matcha mixer. Oh my god. Okay, you know what? I’m going to put my backpack down. I got to appreciate this. What? Laura, you know when you seen like those very high-end like Come here. those resorts. Come here. Look over here. It has a freaking outside shower. Oh my gosh. The walls are high and there’s no one. You can literally be out here naked and no one’s going to know. And you can just sit there. I don’t want to waste the water. But yeah. Wow. Look how big that shower head is like cover. It’s like as wide as almost as wide as my shoulders. What a freaking dream. I wish we were here for more than three nights, though. This is one of those resorts where you come and you stay at the resort. Yeah. You don’t leave. I was thinking about doing an excursion or something like that, but I don’t think I’m going to do that. I want to enjoy every single minute of this. I feel a little overwhelmed right now. So, I think we’re just going to head out and check out the rest of resort. What is like We don’t like open air stuff, but this is nice open air. This feels like it could be like the White Lotus or something. How many shots would it take for you to jump into the water right there? Probably like none. But no, this is Everything has high ceilings. Everything makes it look more grand. This is a dream. And look at the dinosaur eggs. Oh yeah, they they even have dinosaur eggs here. What all-inclusive would have that? So dumb. This is so freaking nice. Just the framing. Wonder if there’s fire in the bowl at night. That would be nice. Do you see this? Yes, I do see this with your eyes. Then right next to that little water feature, which you can actually like walk across and they have seats and stuff over there, but we’re heading down to the beach area now. I think we picked a really good time to come here because it’s not hot at all. The beach is just right here. You can literally just walk right down to the beach. A little smaller little beach, but at the same time, you can see how quiet it is by how much you only can hear my voice. The sunset here must be very, very nice. Literally just come out here and sit on these steps or on this little patio over here. Are we 100% sure if we don’t want to do a wedding, like a destination wedding? I mean, look, they even like setting up for a wedding over here. And like I was saying earlier, if you guys have kids, you can bring them because they do have a kids club on premise. But as I said before, they don’t really cater to kids. I like the schedule though. Stretching, keychains, just dance, freeze tag, Simon Says, face painting. Do you want to come over here tomorrow then? A little bit. So it’s from 4 to 12. Sorry. Simon says is one of my favorite games. They have a little pool area for the kids. I’m not sure if they swim in this. They’re probably constantly having to tell them like don’t go in the water. No, it looks like you can actually go into the pool. So, it’s like pool regulations. You can swim in it and then you can wait in it, but you can’t have like pets or like electronics or anything. So, yeah, this is actual kid pool. Look at this infinity pool right here. I love that the water just like falls over. We got to come over here. Look at the sunset in the distance. I will be back. We’re definitely need getting some help cuz we’re trying to find something to eat. But there’s another adult only area pool over here. But you guys can see from behind us, it’s in the cut. It’s like a secret garden. Oh, look at that. They got like a secret like a bed down there. What is this resort? We were just showing you guys in the woods over here. Another infinity pool. We can do a different pool each day. This is nice. And it’s so quiet. Oh, right here. Do you see this view? Literally, what is this life? I feel like I’m in a treehouse. Like, look out the other side. Oh, wow. Yeah, it’s like we’re in like Philippines or Indonesia. Yeah, it it honestly I think that’s kind of why it was reminding me of White Lotus. Like it kind of gives off the vibe just the ambiance. This real? Yep. This is real, too. Feed me. This place is called Launta. And this is the menu. So, we’re here for lunch. So, you guys can pull out the screen and see what they have to offer. And pretty much everything gets charged to the room. And lunch is available from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. which is nice cuz a lot of places just close like at 3:00 and then you’re just stuck. Especially when you check in at like 3:00 and there’s nowhere to eat at a different resort. Like this is lovely to be honest with you. At all inclusions, you can pretty much get food all the time. I know. It’s nice, isn’t it? Happy. Cheers. Here’s my Sprite. Cheers. Here’s my diet coke. Cheers. This is not first drink of the day. When in Mexico, we got to get tequila. Shots. Shots. All right. [Music] First appetizer has gotten to the table. I guess the only appetizer. They got a pig guacamole thing. Laura is ecstatic. I’m starving. Do you see how creamy that looks? Extremely creamy. Yeah, [Music] whatever the kids do. Very creamy. Hint of lime, little bit of seasoning. This is about a seven or eight. This is good. And the chips aren’t like too heavy. Tastes like a like nice airy. So, the chips almost taste like popcorn to you. Little bit. And the chips are even seasoned, too. Thank you for ordering this. This is a good move. You are so welcome. We probably should have looked at the menu, but we did. can honestly say I’ve never tasted like a tortilla chip like this, but it works so well with the guacamole. Next up, I had to order the tuna tart tartar cuz I have missed it so much. But look at this thing. It’s a tostada on a tostada. Do you want to try this? This it has it’s probably like really fresh. If I had a few drinks of me, I might try it. But round the shots, please. It’s tuna, but it has some little tartness in it with like the lime and the avocado. But it has mango and some other fruit in here. It’s or like I think maybe like oranges or mandarins. But it’s like nice and sweet. I’ve never had tunar or ceviche. I think it’s ceviche actually not tunar that has a sweetness to it. And that’s the thing about like all-inclusive. Yeah. You get a lot of food, but this is made to order high quality food that you don’t get all inclus. It might be it seemed like it worth to do a resort over all-inclusive. he said after one bite of his ceviche. But even this and the guacamole, even this everything like the quality is just nice. And then the meal is finally here. We have a cheeseburger. Could not pass up the mashed potatoes. I got the steak tacos. I think it was the ribeye. They’re like the double corn tortilla. They are still very hot. That steak is crazy. That is so insanely tender. I want this piece. Oh, no. I bit into it already. Oh, wow. That’s really tender. The flavor. No notes. 9.5. I want all my steaks like that. And usually like they overcook small pieces of steak. You can tell how good it is because all she did was eat the steak off the corn tortilla. Can I just get a bowl of steak, please? Literally, I would be satisfied. So, what’s the damage on this one? 160. Wow. Okay. What is $400 a day? That’s not too bad. You still will be underneath the difference. That’s not bad for first day. Okay, that’s better than any first day food I have ever had at all inclusive. Why do I just feel like I had like several drinks? Well, I think it’s cuz it was like so dark in there and then just coming out here is a little disorienting. And like I’m also like super relaxed right now. So, I’m just like Well, here’s a pool for you. I don’t know if we can see the sunset from our room, but definitely right here with the ocean breeze blowing right now. seeing that sunset. We can just I can just get a drink and chill out here all day. I will say Nizuk is a lot less affected by seaweed than a lot of the other resorts around here. It’s kind of out on its own peninsula. So, that is a huge plus. Yes. And just a little heads up as we walk back to our room, there’s a little pier over here. You can go snorkeling and see all this marine life. I wouldn’t mind seeing one of these crabs or like a sea turtle right here or even a spiny Caribbean lobster. No, this might be the first place that I ever snorkel. Oh, dope. Really? Oh, dope. I know. I don’t even know what to say. I’ve never done it. It shocked me. It honestly terrifies me. But it just looks so relaxing and like this is very enticing. I might give it a shot. I just want to let you know in Bermuda when you go fishing off the rocks and anyone that’s Bermudian is watching this can vouch for this. When you’re fishing and these damn squirrel fish come up and take your bait, it’s one of the most annoying thing. Or the slippery dicks. Those things steal your or the what? Slippery dicks. They’re like really colorful fish covered in mucus. They’re a pain. Slippery dicks and squirrelfish. We’re just taking a little gander around here. Just walking around the resort. It’s like kind of like a pond area. Literally everywhere is a photo op. Yeah, this has to be super Instagrammable right here. And you can just kind of see like the bay out there. I like this a lot. I love it. So, this is actually Fan and Lore from the future. We’ve been here for a couple days already. We also forgot that we didn’t do a room tour the first day. So, we wanted to show you guys what it’s like. Hello, and welcome to my Cancun villa. Come on in. First, we’re going to start off in the bathroom. We have these 10 ft tall doors, maybe even 20 ft, and they slide. But the cool thing about it is they have this design, but they’re they’re mirrors behind it. But come on into the bathroom and I’ll show you around my bathroom suite. First off, we have the commode, the toilet. You get your own phone and everything. And then behind me, we have this amazing tub. Lord’s favorite feature. They give us three new towels every day along with Esper products. But this is like a nice deep tub. You can get in. Oh, wow. I don’t never been in a tub. Maybe someone else could get in a little smoother than that probably, but it’s pretty deep. I’m about six foot. It’s not too bad. Come over here to a his and hers sink with a vanity mirror. I like the way these faucets work. Laura’s also favorite thing is that there’s a TV on the wall. So, if you’re in the tub, you can watch TV. Or if you’re in a shower, you can watch TV. And this is the shower right here. The walk-in shower. Big shower head. More products right here. A nice size shower. It took me a couple days to realize that in here in this closet in the bathroom with the light coming on, these are where the drawers are. We were living on our suitcases without putting our clothes away. They comes with a steamer, a whole bunch of drawers, and if you need stuff to hang up, you can do that, too. It comes with also robes you can use. They’re super soft. And then another added feature is this over here. So, you come outside and we have our own outdoor shower. Water gets cold, water gets hot. It’s actually a full-on shower. This is where I’ve been making Fain take showers. Yeah, it’s actually been really nice to be honest with you. One, cuz it’s like really private, but two, we can get ready at the same time. We don’t have to like wait for each other. Then we’re coming into the main living area. This is one unique do not disturb. It’s made of wooden rope, but also the room has lamps. If you want incense, they have an incense burner, phone, table, a huge couch, and then a king-size bed that is extremely comfortable. I’ve It’s the best bed I’ve slept in in the last few years. Like, we have a nice bed at home, but this is this is nice. This is much better. One cool thing is that this room comes with a speaker. You can take this out on the balcony and play music and stuff like that. It’s a high quality speaker, but it’s also Bluetooth and it’s just in our room next to that. Sometimes when I leave stuff out, the room tendant likes to put it on like a napkin or a handkerchief, I guess, and she organizes it all nicely and stuff like that until I mess up the next day. We have a whole bunch of alcohols right here that we were gifted, not from the resort, from someone we knew that was staying here. We have a huge TV about I’ll say 65. Down here we have some drawers and some cups. Right next door we have a whole drawer full of snacks. They’re not included in the room. Down here we also have some more alcohol in the fridge and drinks and stuff that will cost extra as well. Next to that we have the actual espresso machine. Also some cups. Another lamp. This is actual like stone. Wonder how heavy this lamp is. It’s solid. Pick it up and throw it. Can I pick it up? Oh my gosh. I Wait, is it bolted down? No. This thing’s just Okay, put it back. It’s heavy. Wow. Okay. And then over here we have like a little seating area. Right now I’m editing video. Laura’s doing some work. It comes with complimentary umbrellas and then these big huge windows where we just like to stay in the bed and stare out early in the morning. It’s just very peaceful. So nice. This room actually has two balconies. This one is the less dramatic one. You can just sit out on your porch and look out over the water. If you follow me out here, I can show you the other balcony. As soon as you walk out, we have pretty much a bird’s nest basket of towels. And then you come over here, we have a real plant. Dana is obsessed with the real plants. It’s just a nice touch cuz usually have fake plants or no plants at all. It really feels like a home. We have a big family style picnic table. We did some work out here. Huge table with a huge mirror. You can see Laura is filming over here. And then we come out into the sun and we have a huge lounge couch which is extremely comfortable in the morning to just look out over at the ocean. The main feature right here, the best part of this, a lounge pool. Perfect environment. Also, some lounge chairs and some tables. I mean, look at this. It’s not too deep. It’s about like 2 ft, 2, 3 ft. But it’s nice to just sit down and hang out and just like put your arms up over this and just stare out at the water. This is like top 10, top five, top three ever stayed in. This is like a whole other room at a regular hotel. Then it’s just pretty much a circle. We head through this area and we’re back at the bathroom and the shower. And just as a reminder, this is the penthouse. And there’s ones even bigger. These pools stretch the whole length of their balcony. Those are the masters. I’m very happy with this one, though. Honestly, I would not I’d want to see the other ones, but this is my favorite. We just got our dishes. I’m going to be real with you guys. Laura might have messed up. I got the I never had noi coated, but Laura for some reason got chicken breast without leak. That chicken breast looks amazing. Said no one ever. It smells like Thanksgiving to be honest with you. I’m going to taste it plain first. Okay. Wasn’t me. Is it moist? It wasn’t me. negotiating that just like busted in my mouth. Hey yo, let me try a piece. Okay. It’s It’s really It’s really good. It’s like peppery and it’s moist. It’s probably the best chicken breast I’ve ever had in my life. I want to know like how they do this cuz when I make it at home, it doesn’t taste like I’m actually surprised cuz you think chicken breast can be a hit or miss, but that’s actually like really moist and good. I was 100% planning to give you some of my noki, but you’re good. I am more than happy with my plain chicken breast. And by the way, people, this isn’t bad at all. It’s actually pretty good. Surprisingly, your chicken is actually better. Wow. It’s still good, but I’ve just never had chicken breast that tastes like that before. It’s so fresh and it doesn’t taste like chicken.
