Japan’s strangest ramen. Straight up nonsense. First, someone thought mixing cake with ramen was a genius move, not a dessert after ramen. A literal sweet vanilla cake, whipped cream, and strawberries floating in the spicy bowl of ramen that comes with sliced beef and chewy noodles. I thought Chipotle would give me digestive issues, but this ramen would send me to my personal hell. Next, this ramen shop in Japan has a bowl of ramen with an ice cream for $10. The ice cream is both chocolate and vanilla flavors. It adds creamy to the spicy soup because of the milk balance off. It may be a perfect blance of sweet and spicy, but the stomach may have a sick day after having it. If you want to dip deeper in your personal hell, this thick ramen is perfect because it looks like mud with little fish on it. It’s called Noin Mazanibbo, and it is served on a few times in a year at Oshi Chuka Sooba in Tokyo. They take dry sardines and grind them into an ultra thick paste and mix it with thick ramen until it looks like cement. It’s nutty, oily, and bold, but smooth like BBL.
