Toei Animation has revealed more details ahead of the opening of the “DRAGON BALL STORE TOKYO,” a new permanent retail location for the iconic global franchise.
The store is scheduled to open on Friday, November 14, 2025, and it will be located on the first floor of Tokyo Station First Avenue, offering unparalleled access for fans and travelers.

The ‘DRAGON BALL’ franchise, created by the legendary Akira Toriyama, is one of the most celebrated and commercially successful animated series of all time.

With over 260 million comics sold worldwide and a 40-year history of hit TV series, films, and games, it remains a “monster title” with extraordinary global popularity.

This new location will be the world’s first official store to primarily focus on ‘DRAGON BALL’ anime licensed merchandise, gathering a huge variety of products, including store exclusives, under one roof.

“DRAGON BALL STORE TOKYO” promises a special experience, with interior decorations designed to immerse fans in the series’ universe.
An impressive, large-scale statue of Son Goku and a dragon will be featured at the store’s entrance, serving as an icon for the location.

A wide range of original, exclusive goods will be available.
Highlights include the “History Series,” a store-exclusive art line featuring newly commissioned illustrations of characters from the successive ‘DRAGON BALL’ anime.

The first wave, available from opening day, will feature Son Goku, Bulma, Oolong, Puar, and Yamcha.

Other exclusive items include merchandise based on a new illustration of the iconic ‘DRAGON BALL’ Volume 1 cover, as well as highly collectible items like pin badges and acrylic stands.

Replica cel-style art capturing impressive scenes from the anime will also be available for purchase.
To commemorate the grand opening, customers will receive free gifts, such as stickers and special shopper bags, with a gift based on the total purchase amount.
