The launch of Japan’s Chuo Shinkansen maglev line between Tokyo and Nagoya has been delayed by eight years to 2035, with construction costs rising with more than 50%, surging to ¥11 trillion (€61 billion), Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central) announced on October 29.
