Nagoya’s “Morning Set” 🍞☕️🇯🇵 #uniqueJapan #Japan #FoodinNagoya

[Music] We think we found a really nice place. Uh they have a morning set. Let’s go check it out. Okay, so as explained before, you order your drink, hot drink, cold drink, and then um with it comes a free free breakfast. [Music] Traditional Japanese uh morning set and the western morning set. Okay. So, first I’m going to try the oniid. I’m not sure if it’s plain or if there’s anything inside. It’s the seaweed. Seaweed with some uh rice. Japanese rice. Here we go. Rice balls gone global. Everyone’s loving Japan’s rice balls. [Music] Some sticky rice wrapped in seaweed. It’s pretty good. And some salt. Yeah, pretty good. All right, let’s try some red miso soup. Give it a nice little stir. This is Nagoya’s Pride Hacho miso. It’s good, right? Oh, yeah. That’s good. I like the red miso soup. It gives it like an additional depth, like um it’s more like a um a richer flavor, if I could say. Yes. Rich and bold. Let’s give that a try. My friend said it’s like a sophisticated slime. Very sticky and jelly like. So if you can see it jiggly. Go ahead. I always wanted to eat a Dragon Quest slime. It’s cold, chewy, a little bit sweet, and most overall delicious. Interesting. So I’m going to take a sip of my matcha latte. Let’s take a sip. I feel you drink matcha latte 50 times a month. Oi. I knew it. Oshi just means delicious. Let’s try the toast. Well, it’s a simple slice of toast. White bread with butter. Um, let’s take a bite. It might surprise you, but Japan’s bread game is strong. It’s good, right? Mhm. Very delicious. Great start to the day. Let’s try some Red bean paste with it. I’m curious. The act the actual name for it is anko. Yes. Anko is one of the most beloved traditional ingredients in Japanese desserts. Delicious hardboiled egg. And there we go. Cheers. Somehow morning sets egg is always hardboiled. Mhm. A typical wide boiled egg. Delicious.

 Nagoya’s “Morning Set”🍞☕️🇯🇵
At Okagean, we ordered 2 drinks.
Each came with a nice free meal. One is western style – a thick toast, sweet bean paste, a hard-boiled egg.
The other one is traditional Japanese style – a rice ball, red miso soup and a Warabi mochi.
