Osaka Prefecture is supporting companies that possess carbon-neutral technologies and those aiming to implement and expand their businesses in Osaka. Through these initiatives, the Prefecture is working toward achieving carbon neutrality driven by technology.
During the exhibition held from October 7 to 13, 2025, as part of the EXPO2025, OSAKA, KANSAI, JAPAN, ten cutting-edge technologies in renewable energy, CO₂ capture, energy management and saving, hydrogen, and recycling—developed under the Carbon Neutral Technology Development and Demonstration Project—were showcased.
These exhibits highlighted the practicality and effectiveness of Osaka-born carbon-neutral technologies to a global audience.
Supporting Commercialization Through Demonstration
This exhibition was organized as part of Osaka Prefecture’s Carbon Neutral Technology Development and Demonstration Project, which aims to showcase its achievements at the Expo.
Between FY2022 and FY2024, 18 projects were selected under this program, with a total of 1.76 billion yen in subsidies granted.
Through this initiative, various technologies were developed and demonstrated—some of which have already reached commercialization.
