T’way Air has officially launched new direct routes from Busan to Fukuoka and Sapporo, strengthening its network of international flights from Gimhae International Airport.
The Busan–Fukuoka route operates twice daily. The morning flight departs from Gimhae Airport at 9 a.m. and arrives in Fukuoka at 10 a.m. local time. The evening flight departs at 6 p.m. and arrives at 7 p.m. local time, with each flight taking about one hour.
The Busan–Sapporo route operates once daily. The outbound flight departs Busan at 9:00 am and arrives at New Chitose Airport at 11:20 a.m. local time, while the return flight leaves Sapporo at 12:20 p.m. and lands in Busan around 3:15 p.m. while the flight duration is approximately two hours and twenty minutes.
Both destinations are long-time favorites among Korean travelers.
Fukuoka remains a popular short-trip destination known for its food, shopping, and hot springs, while Sapporo attracts visitors year-round for its seasonal beauty offering winter skiing and snow festivals as well as cool summer getaways.
With the addition of these two routes, T’way Air now operates four international routes from Busan including Fukuoka, Sapporo, Osaka, and Nha Trang alongside its domestic Busan–Gimpo service.
