MT FUJI JAPAN | Kawaguchiko Itinerary πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ | Sakura Season 🌸 | Traditional Yamanashi Food πŸ₯’

[Music] Hi guys, my name is Martina and welcome back to a new video. This is our first day here in Mount Fuji. I was super excited cuz we got super blessed with a very sunny day and we got to see Mount Fuji already yesterday night. We were super tired and there was no way that we could have saw it obviously because we arrived at around 1000 p.m. at Kawagucho station and we had to walk all the way to our accommodation which was okay. It was uh 30 minutes away. And just for your information, if you come to Kawagujigu later than 8:00 p.m., be prepared that there are no buses and even no taxi cuz you actually need a Japanese number to order a taxi. So we ended up deciding just walking. What we were going to do uh according to our itinerary was actually rent a bike or a ebike but the temperature is not really that high. It is about 4 to 5Β°. So renting a bike wasn’t really an option. I didn’t want to freeze myself. So our second option was actually going to rent a very Japanese car which is actually the one that you see behind me. those uh compacted van. I’m going to also put a picture with it, but there was no availability. So, we had no other choice than rent an Audi. So, this is the car that we rented at Kawagot Chiku. It’s an Audi A5. It is really beautiful and it’s Cabo as well. Guys, guess how much was this car for 24 hours? It was really cheap in my opinion. It was €120, about €20,000 yen. Insurance is included, and we can actually drive myself and my husband. I think either renting a car or a ebike is essential when you come to Fuji cuz there aren’t really a lot of public transportation in my opinion. I haven’t done much research about it, but obviously having a car or a ebike or a scooter gets you faster to places, especially when you only have a little time, just like us. I’m going to put the link to the place where we rented the car. They were very, very helpful. Didn’t speak much English, but they were willing to use Google Translate. And I think that it was quite affordable for the car that we ended up choosing. Mount Fuji was actually on our itinerary for so long. I’m really feeling very blessed because on our first day here at Gawa Kawagujigu, we got this beautiful sunny days cuz if you haven’t saw the previous videos, the whole time that we stayed in Tokyo, we only had a few hours of sun. It rained for three days straight. How cool was it to see the Naruto train just passing by Mount Fuji? You can see all the locations in the description of the video. I’m going to put all the details or where you can find the best spots for you to take your Mount Fuji pictures. We are our first stop seeing Mount Fuji. We are at uh Fuji Yoshida which is 10 minutes by car from Kawagujiko station and we are going to go ahead and find the famous Oncho Street. So before continue on, we are going to take a quick break and have breakfast here at 7-Eleven. This one isn’t the famous one, but it’s still pretty good. So I actually just want a quick breakfast. So, um, I’m going to get This is one of my favorite things so far from 7-Eleven. It’s this peach jelly. It’s actually full of vitamins and I’m really loving it. The texture, the taste, super cool, and it doesn’t taste artificial at all. I think that coming to 7-Eleven is one of the best experiences that you can do in Japan. They have literally everything from prepared food. I’ve already showed to you guys a few, but it’s really cool. I mean, I never get tired to have breakfast at the convenience store. So, for myself, I think I’m going to get what should I get now? I don’t know if I’ll go for the classic oni or maybe I’ll get a sando. I think I’ll go for the oni. I’ll get the tuna mayonnaise. The trash. [Music] Okay, let’s do a little haul of the breakfast. First things first, I’m going to try the corn dog. Do you think this is Korean? This one? Yeah, Korean. Then I also got the ketchup and mustard. [Music] It’s a breaded hot dog. [Music] Let’s try. [Music] Mhm. Then second breakfast is the oniiri. Did you know that there is a right way that you have to open it in order for the naughty not to touch the rice soup. [Music] Woohoo. [Music] Okay, time for the peach jelly. Wo, it really does taste like peach. Okay, so we just got to the second spot for the perfect Mount Fuji picture. We are in Honcha Street in Fuji Oshida which is just 10 minutes away from Kabagujiku Lake. Guys, here the story is crazy. There’s tons of people, a very large crew, and everybody’s trying to get the perfect picture of the street. But I don’t really blame them. The view is beautiful. You can see just a very traditional Japanese street with a beautiful snowing mug at the end of it. [Music] Heat. Hey, Heat. Hey, hey, hey. [Music] Hey, [Music] hey, hey. [Music] The third part for your Mount Fuji pictures is the Arakuryama Sang Park in the village of Shimoshida. This park is very beautiful, but as you can see, it’s a bit crowded. It’s a very touristy area, but I believe that it’s super worth it. I expect to reach the Cheddo Pagora and shoot the best Mount Fuji pictures. The chto pagoda is a pagoda that is up there at the top of the park and you’re supposed to get a beautiful view of pagada cherry blossoms and mount fugji. [Music] Guys, this is the line to reach the observation deck. I think there must be more than 1,000 people here cuz the line just starts over here and it goes all the way up to the observation. At Princely, you only have 5 minutes to stay onto the platform and take your pictures cuz I think they want the line to go up a little bit faster. Luckily, the weather is cooperating, so it’s quite nice to be out here in the nature with the sun really heating us up after all that Tokyo rain. [Music] Literally, there was no time to show you guys what’s the platform looks like cuz you only have five minutes to take the perfect picture. I hope I took mine. But this is anyway the view from the pagoda. As you can see, it is so beautiful. And you have Mong Fuji over there. Now, we’re going to go ahead and probably enjoy a few snacks that I saw on the way up to the pagod. Foreign [Music] plus to blaster blaster. Mr. Blast. [Music] So guys, it is a little bit later. We ended up not being able to make a reservation at the previous noodle restaurant cuz it was going to be closing in half an hour. So it wasn’t really worth to eating that fast. We ended up choosing another restaurant. This one was really Google uh suggested restaurant cuz I had no idea where else to eat. I just knew that I wanted to eat ramen. So, I ended up choosing the best restaurant cuz as soon as I walked in, I saw this on the menu. Look how many ramen. I ended up choosing the soy sauce one. It’s uh this one right here. I think it’s the most, you know, recommended or most simple one. Then I ended up choosing some large gyoza. Really excited about that. And we’re also going to try some rice and chicken kag. Guys, the day today was really beautiful. We ended up seeing a lot of sites that I really wanted to go to. Unfortunately, in the afternoon it started raining a bit. So that kind of ruined the mood cuz um Muji totally disappeared. You could not see the mountain even if you were straight in front of it. So like it didn’t really made any sense to continue on without ready to take more pictures as you know normal fujino pictures. Guys, the ramen is already here. I’m going to show you what that looks like. Look how pretty. As you can see, the noodles are very, very thin. It came with green onions, nori. This one that I don’t really never recall the name and some pork. I’m going to try it now. Guys, that ramen was so good. We ate it all. It was really, really amazing. So, I’m going to put the name of the restaurant right here if you want to come check it out when you come to Kawa. Now, we’re going to go ahead and go back to our Rioan and then I’ll see you tomorrow. Once we got back to the Rioan, it was time to take a shower. As you saw from the intro, our hotel is very traditional, which meant that the shower situation was traditional as well. The showers were allocated in another section of the hotel. As you guys can see, I’m wearing this beautiful Japanese pajamas that were offered by the hotel. Once we got there, we realized that the shower was separated for men and women. I’m going to show you the women’s section as nobody was there as it was very late at night. First, you step into the changing areas. Shoes off, clothes off, and everything goes into these lockers. Cleanness and order are really important here. Before soaking in the hot bath, as you can see here in the video, you need to wash thy. This is the rule. You sit on these little stools and use the soap and shampoo provided. The idea is to enter the bath completely clean. I have to be honest with you guys, I did not enter the bath. I just took a very quick shower cuz I was just too afraid that somebody was going to walk in on me while I was taking a shower. I think this situation is pretty far away from what we’re used to as European. [Music] Good morning, guys. It’s next day. It’s actually 6:00 a.m. in the morning, and I’m already queuing for the famous law shot here at Kawagujiku Station. Luckily, the line isn’t that long. I actually came here a little bit earlier than I expected cuz I woke up at 5:00 and saw that we had a beautiful clear sky. So, I said that I needed to take the opportunity to take as much picture as I could cuz you saw yesterday that around 200 p.m. the sun was already out and the sky became really cloudy and Mount Fuji basically disappeared. Now, we’re going to take advantage of the day and shoot as many picture as we like. [Music] Okay, so 20 minutes later, we managed to get the perfect picture at the last of Kavagucho and now we are returning to Oshino Kai. We went there yesterday, but unfortunately as soon as we arrived, it started raining and as you saw from some of the clips, it was a little bit uglier than we expected. So, we really want to run there and see Ho Chi Nakai without many people because it was so beautiful traditional Japanese village and I think that it’s really worth a visit. Let’s go again. [Music] Hello. [Music] Hello. [Music] Coming to Washai before 7:00 a.m. was definitely worth it. Look how beautiful and peaceful this is. Up until 10 minutes ago, we were the only people here. And you can breathe such peace. Very, very beautiful. I mean, today the morning is so nice. So, you can see the whole Mount Fuji with its beautiful snowy top. We just reached today’s third location. We are at Oishi Park on the other side of Kawaguch Lake. Look how beautiful this place is. The sun is sitting just right and you can see just Mount Fuji behind me. I think this is a really beautiful shot cuz you get Lake Aago and Mount Fuji together. You can literally see the whole mountain. Obviously, it is very quiet here, very peaceful. It is 7:00 a.m. and it’s not so crowded. So, you get to have the whole place almost just for yourself. You can do loads of activities here. I see that there are some uh ice cream shop and some restaurants on this side of the lake. And you also get to rent out some boats to enjoy a little ride on the lake. It must be really beautiful as well. [Music] Heat. Hey, Heat. [Music] So, we just got to our third location for today. We’re a little bit more far away from Kawaguch. It actually took us about a little bit more than an hour to come here. We’re actually close to the ocean, which is pretty nice. Uh I’m going to put the location obviously in the description of the video, but this is the city that we’re at, and we’re actually just queueing to take the Mount Fuji shot going up the stairs. There line isn’t that long, which is good. There’s only a few people in front of us. There’s people the biggest camera. And as you can see there, I don’t know if you’re able to see it actually, but there is a bride and a groom taking their wedding picture here, which they are so cute. We’re going to go queue now and let’s see how the shot is going to turn out. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Music] Hey, [Music] So we just returned to Kabaguchiko station. Our day in Mount Fuji was really beautiful. As you saw, we got to enjoy from different perspective and different places. Remember that all the location are going to be linked in the description of the video. As you saw yesterday, we tried to go to a traditional Yamanashi style restaurant, but it was uh almost closing time and they weren’t taking any more reservations. We managed to come here today and luckily we were seated at this really traditional Japanese style part of the restaurant. As you saw, we are sitting here on the tatami at this very small table. It’s think it’s going to be interesting to be eating like this. Um, I’m really excited cuz here they serve a very traditional style noodles. It’s this one right here. Hoto fo noodles, which is a yamanashi style flat noodles with vegetable or miso soup. Super excited to try it and I think I’m going to order it now. Our noodle is already here. As you saw, it has been uh served in a very traditional hot pot. Uh, it looks really good. Uh, it has, as I as I told you guys, uh, some flat odo noodles. I see that it also has some, uh, Japanese mushroom and some other vegetable. Pretty excited to try it. And it’s also being served with a very traditional sp. Really cute. I’m going to try the the broth first. Really good. Really good. Really hot. And it’s basically miso. Okay, let’s dive in. Now, guys, I think I’m going to end the video now with this beautiful view of Mount Fuji here at Kawagujiku Station. We’re already leaving the village tonight.
