A pictorial camping story on a riverside in Hwacheon, Gangwon Province, South Korea, where I came to experience the autumn rain. Hello, I’m YeonYoo. This place retains its natural beauty, so it’s charming even in the rain. They said it would rain until late in the evening, so I need to quickly build a comfortable shelter. Today, I’ll put up a tarp near the window, so I’ll open the other side first. I open the door for OkHee, who might be feeling stuffy in the car. I’m going to give OkHee a sweet potato snack because she might be hungry after the long drive. If you install a tarp over the truck awning, you can enjoy cozy rain camping under it. But I made a big mistake. I didn’t bring a hammer, so all I have is this toy hammer. Solid It’s gravel ground, so hitting it with a rock won’t help. In the end, we gave up on the tarp and changed our strategy to slightly extending the truck and using the space under the truck awning. Anyway, the riverside with the rain and the mountain fog is quite picturesque. I need to quickly clean up the interior before it gets dark. Unfortunately, drone filming is prohibited here. It’s fun to see views we can’t see from our perspective, but It’s also special to see more detail from your perspective. It’s only half-expanded, but it’s perfectly fine for short-term use. I’m going to watch the rain fall and light a bonfire to cook a warm meal. I arrived late, so it’s already dark. My coat got soaked from the rain that poured down all day. I’m relieving OkHee’s boredom with her favorite paper cup toy. The autumn rain makes the weather feel even colder. Today’s menu is kimchi pancakes and fish cake udon, which go perfectly with the rain. (Cheongyang peppers, onions) (Kimchi) (Tuna) (Fried Flour) Looking at the stew with various fish cakes and udon noodles, I’m already getting hungry. The chill of the autumn rain quickly disappears in the warmth of the campfire. I’ll also heat up OkHee’s favorite homemade hot dog. I forgot to bring a pan turner, so I’ll have to flip it with tongs. But OkHee must have smelled her own food. Its already long neck just got even longer. 😂 I should hurry and feed OkHee first. As soon as I put it down, OkHee’s meal began. I’m also planning to enjoy a cozy meal in the truck. The warm, soft fish cake seems to relieve my fatigue from the day. The kimchi pancake was also delicious. It would be a shame to have this meal without beer. It’s late at night, so I need to expand the truck as much as possible and get ready for bed. OkHee, where are you going? I hope to publish my own illustrated essay someday, though I don’t know when that will be. Actually, it’s best to record my emotions as they happen, but that’s not easy. I’ll diligently record my memories and thoughts whenever I have time. I’m falling asleep with OkHee, listening to the sound of autumn rain. It’s a dreamy morning, with half the mountain covered in fog from the rain that fell all morning. OkHee, it looks like you’re still half asleep. – Shall we go for a walk? Seeing the path already covered in yellow ginkgo leaves makes me feel autumn even more. I’m planning on making shrimp and egg toast for breakfast.
