It’s been a while since I’ve been back to Shimokitazawa, but took a walk through the area to see what’s new. The area is consistently rated one of the most popular neighborhoods in tokyo for students and young adults to hang out. There are many thrift stores in the area, and it has a very artistic vibe. The area is slowly modernizing, but the station front area is still not completed.
