Osaka, Japan, October 21, 2025 – Panasonic Holdings Corporation (“Panasonic HD”) announced that “The Land of NOMO,” the Panasonic Group Pavilion at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai Japan (“Expo 2025”), achieved its initial visitor target of 450,000 on October 5, including more than 100,000 Generation Alpha children. Technologies and insights gained through co-creation with children and partner companies will be leveraged as a legacy for future practical applications. Additionally, the pavilion’s original anime published on YouTube has garnered over 1.3 million views*1, sharing the world of “The Land of NOMO” with those unable to visit in person.

Panasonic Group has been conducting business activities for over 100 years, aiming to solve social issues and improve people’s lives while pursuing the realization of an “an ideal society offering material and spiritual affluence.” At Expo 2025, themed around “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” “The Land of NOMO” was developed based on founder Konosuke Matsushita’s belief that “every person has different innate talents, and success means fully unlocking those talents.” The pavilion’s exhibition concept, “Set your heart and mind free, and the world will open up” was established alongside the tagline “Unlock your nature,” expressing the hope that Generation Alpha children will recognize their own potential in a world where humans and nature are in harmony, and embrace hope for the future.

Panasonic Group positioned Expo 2025 as an opportunity for co-creation, primarily focusing on two pillars: “Next Generation Co-creation” and “Business Co-creation.” The company has created new connections with Generation Alpha children and diverse partner companies while advancing technology development, ideas, know-how, and insights for social implementation.

Panasonic Group will implement the results of co-creation born from Expo 2025 as a lasting legacy for society. This includes new connections forged with children who will lead the next generation and with partner companies. The company has also developed expertise in helping individuals “unlock” their potential through multifaceted approaches that extend beyond the pavilion experience, benefiting not only children but also Panasonic Group employees. Additionally, various business co-creation initiatives have accelerated the research and development of new technologies, ideas, and insights. Through these efforts, Panasonic Group aims to realize a society where humans and nature exist in harmony, and each person’s innate talents are fully utilized.
