Ever dreamed of waking up to your own koi pond? At Satyama Jujo, that dream comes true. We stayed in their Izumi house in Nikata Prefecture. The house was huge with a sauna, cool bath, and a onen with a panoramic view, perfect for relaxing in complete privacy. But the highlight dinner. A private chef came to the house and treated us to local delicacies. We even tried bare meat for the first time and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly kind. the Tungas Tunerba attractions where we harvested rice with the locals, explored Wonos, a brewery and leisure complex, and enjoyed lunch in a traditional Japanese house. Every moment was unforgettable. If you’re visiting Japan, this is definitely the place we recommend staying
