Thirty Not Just Travel agents have returned from the firm’s first group trip to Japan.
The 10-day journey was hosted by trade partner InsideJapan, covering Tokyo and Kyoto, including bullet train journeys, a Yakatabune dinner river cruise and private Taiko drumming lessons.
Three conference days focused on customer acquisition, retention strategies, and personal development for travel consultants and business owners.
Inside Travel Group head of trade sales Gabo Quiros said: “The Not Just Travel consultants’ first-hand experience of Japan has been an industry-first.
“They’ve genuinely fallen in love with the destination and returned home hungry to share these experiences with their clients.
“As part of our valuable key trade partnership with NJT, we’re able to showcase Japan in the way that resonates most powerfully with agents. It’s about building genuine expertise and enthusiasm that translates directly into confident client conversations and increased bookings.”
Not Just Travel co-founder Steve Witt said: “Japan represents a destination that can truly differentiate our consultants in a competitive market.
“By combining hands-on cultural experiences with intensive business training, we’ve equipped 30 consultants with the authentic knowledge and commercial skills they need to become go-to Japan specialists. The transformation we’ve witnessed in just 10 days has been remarkable.”
