NIU JAZZ FACULTY RECITAL

Location: Music Building, Recital Hall
The NIU School of Music staff will perform a Jazz recital. Tickets will be free for NIU students, $7 for the general public and $5 for non-NIU students, seniors and staff.
JAPAN SPECIAL DINNER
Date and Time: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday
Location: Neptune Central, Dining Hall
Neptune Dining will hold a special dinner featuring Japanese cuisine and cultural activities including a ramen bar, boba tea, live performances, a raffle and more. This event is open for all meal plan users and regular guests.
TRANSFER STUDENT TRIVIA WITH HASC
Date and Time: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday
Location: Founders Memorial Library, Room 260
The Huskie Academic Success Center will be holding a trivia contest where contestants can challenge their knowledge on NIU history, fun facts and on-campus resources solo or in teams of up to four members. This event is tailored for transfer students, however all NIU students are welcome to attend.
¡LOTERÍA! HALLOWEEN COSTUME NIGHT
Date and Time: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday
Location: Peters Campus Life Building, Room 100
The Center for Latino and Latin American Studies and the Latino Resource Center will host a special Lotería game night, a Mexican board game similar to bingo, where visitors are encouraged to bring their own costumes. This event is free for all to attend.
JACKBOX COMMUNITY GAME NIGHT
Date and Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday
Location: Altgeld Hall, Esports Arena Room 100
The Esports Arena will host a Jackbox game night which will feature a variety of party games from various genres. These genres include drawing games, trivia games, guessing games and more. Party games will be provided but attendees are encouraged to bring their own as well. This event is free for all to attend with registration being optional, and be sure to bring your phones to participate in some of the games.

Date and Time: 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday
Location: Music Building, Recital Hall

MOVIE NIGHT – “THE BOOK OF LIFE”
Date and Time: 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday
Location: Latino Center, Room 121
The Center for Latino and Latin American Studies will host a movie night showing the film “The Book of Life,” a tale which showcases the journey of a young man divided between satisfying his family or himself. This event will be free for all to attend.
PUMPKIN FEST
Date and Time: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Location: Downtown Sycamore
The Sycamore Pumpkin Fest will feature a wide variety of events occurring over the course of the weekend including carnivals, craft shows, magic shows, pancake breakfasts, giant trophy presentations, face painting and many more events.
FAMILY WEEKEND KICKOFF
Date and Time: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday

The next performance by the School of Theatre and Dance tells the story of seven women who have suffered from sexism and racism.Tickets will be free for NIU students, $20 for the general public, $18 for seniors and staff and $12 for non-NIU students.
FAMILY WEEKEND: CASINO NIGHT
Date and Time: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday
Location: Holmes Student Center, Duke Ellington Ballroom
To celebrate family weekend, the Campus Activities Board will host a casino night that will include several casino-esque games, Uno and board games. This event is free for all to attend.
