Donabe Crack Repair

I purchased a Ginpo Kikka Banko Donabe, however, I received it cracked likely in transit. I’ve tried to capture the crack as best I could which is visible and can feel on the outside and inside. I can’t tell whether it is all the way through or just the black coat. The seller sent a replacement so not worried there. I have not attempted to use it yet. My questions:

1) Does this appear structurally unusable?
2) Does this look repairable? If so, any suggestions or do I need to find professional help?
3) If unrepairable, any suggestions on others uses or is this destined for the trash?
