Kagawa/Shodoshima vlog🫒Spectacular View and Excellent Udon Tour in Takamatsu|Angel Road

Good morning. This is the second day of the food trip. This time, we will be taking a trip to see the spectacular scenery of Shodoshima in Kagawa and the exquisite udon noodles of Takamatsu. At Okayama Station, transfer to the Marine Liner and head towards Takamatsu Station. The reason for choosing Kagawa is because my husband wanted to fully enjoy Kagawa’s udon before he left Japan. Of course, you can learn a language while on the move. I’m learning with an app called Duolingo, and I recommend it because it feels like a game. Surprisingly, Japan’s three largest pyramids have arrived at Takamatsu Station. Smile-chan will welcome you ☻ We will head straight to Merikenya near the station. There was quite a line, but the turnover was quick and I was able to get into the store right away. You’ll get excited♪ 280 yen for a small kake! Toppings are a problem. I chose squid tempura. As expected, Kagawa’s udon is delicious. I usually prefer flat, smooth noodles like Inaniwa udon, but I love Kagawa’s Sanuki udon. The squid tempura is fluffy and crispy! My husband’s crazy sky is also big! ! It was bouncy. Go to Shodoshima by boat. The port is conveniently located near the station. If you think about it, the service to Uno Port has been discontinued. Since the return route is undecided, we bought a one-way ticket for the time being. We chose the high-speed boat, which takes 35 minutes, but there is also a ferry that takes a leisurely 1 hour. While I was waiting, I played with Osmo Pocket lol You can also make movements like this (Note: The screen will rotate.) You can make some interesting videos depending on how you shoot. While I was doing this, the ship arrived. It’s a surprisingly sturdy chair We’re setting sail I was worried that I might get drunk, but the time went by in a flash. There’s also an outlet. Arrival at Shodoshima. If you do some research, there are many things to see. Rent a car locally. 4,000 yen including gas for 6 hours. cheap! It was a wonderful rental car shop that carefully explained the sightseeing routes. First, check in after using the parking lot of the inn. Our accommodation was the Shodoshima International Hotel. It’s in front of Angel Road, which is one of the tourist spots. Luckily, the room was upgraded to a designer room! And this view ♡ After taking a breather, Head towards Angel Road from the hotel’s exclusive passageway You can also relax here while looking out at the ocean~ Angel Road is a sandy road that appears and disappears depending on the tide A popular tourist spot on Shodoshima The tombolo phenomenon is a rare natural beauty that is rare even in Japan. You can only visit it twice a day, so time is limited. We recommend checking before making a plan. There is an ema at the end of the sandy road. It is also known as a sacred place for lovers and is very romantic. Not knowing that time will pass from now on, I will continue to do nothing. Go to the observation deck to see the whole picture. By the time I reached the top of the steep stairs, I was wheezing (lol) Wow, what a spectacular view ^^ There is a free drink bar at the inn. After having some coffee, we resumed our drive. The second spot is “Shodoshima Olive Park” It is famous as a spot where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the Mediterranean Sea. About 2,000 olive trees were planted in the park, and there was also an herb garden . It was also the filming location for the live-action version of “Kiki’s Delivery Service.” There was also a cute general store inside. A lot of people were holding brooms at the Greek windmill The sea, windmills, and olive trees…it’s a calming scenery There were photo spots everywhere, and it was fun. The third spot is Kankakei. It’s one of the three most beautiful valleys in Japan, and I was looking forward to it the most… The opening hours were so short that I couldn’t make it to the ropeway in time. Standing in front of Azuki Benigumo. I wanted to see this scenery… I regained my composure and headed to Nakayama Senmaida, which has been selected as one of Japan’s top 100 rice terraces. Although I had a hard time finding a photo spot, I decided to take a walk, relying on the map I found. This is truly the original scenery of Japan. Thanks to this scenery, I completely forgot about Kankakei. It’s so beautiful in winter, so how beautiful is it in early summer when the water-filled rice fields shine in the sunlight? How beautiful is it in early autumn when the golden ears of rice sway? On a last minute visit, I stopped by Shinpaku, one of the largest in Japan. It has been designated as a nationally designated special natural monument. I was grateful to my husband for running in just in time to see this magnificent sight. The sun was setting, and we returned to the hotel by shuttle. For dinner, my husband wanted to eat local fish from Shodoshima, so we decided on Japanese restaurant Shimakatsu! “This is a famous restaurant on the island. You can enjoy fresh seafood.” About a 6-minute walk from the inn Wine from Shodoshima A course using seafood from the Seto Inland Sea and local specialties can be had for as little as 2,300 yen… We also carry a lot of local sake We chose the most popular “Island Life Course.” This is a reasonable 2,300 yen There was a large selection of items, and all the dishes were delicious. It’s more economical than having dinner at the hotel The fatty sashimi is irresistible Dessert was also included As it was 7pm, I checked my rank on the language app “Duolingo” I’ve been promoted to the highest Diamond rank Crackling (lol) I return to the hotel and check out the amenities. I relax while watching a special feature on Switzerland that happened to be on TV. I’m going to go on a udon tour in Takamatsu tomorrow, so I’m going to do some preparations. There are really 100 famous udon restaurants in Kagawa. Which one should I try?Kake, Bukkake, or Kamatama? I’m aiming for this “Udon Baka Ichidai” tomorrow. I ‘m looking forward to it ! I’m going to take a hot spring and sleep today. It’s my second day on Shodoshima. Due to my overseas transfer, I purchased a good iron that can be used overseas. My hair gets damaged when I travel overseas, so I’ve always wanted one. I chose KINUJO’s “2WAY Iron.” Can be curled or straightened. I also like that the cover doesn’t take up much space. It’s my first time using 26mm, so I’ll just have to practice until I get used to it. < Leave the hotel early and head to Takamatsu. There were so many other places I wanted to go to on Shodoshima, such as the 24 Eye Movie Village and the Marukin Soy Sauce Memorial Museum... I left Shodoshima with my head held back. I returned to Takamatsu Station. I'm going to the udon restaurant by renting a bicycle. At 10 o'clock on weekdays, there was already a line... 15 minutes of waiting The store was lined with signs I bought one as a souvenir from Switzerland, but I regretted that I should have bought more. My husband ordered the Setouchi lemon minced meat cutlets at Kakeko. Of course, I decided on the kama butter♡ The butter melts and whets the appetite. It was a rich carbonara-like dish that you couldn't stop eating. My husband seemed to like the Setouchi lemon minced meat cutlet. By the time we left, the line was even longer. Now, next time we'll take the Kotoden train. I was able to catch the train just in time. Everything seemed to be going well, but my husband got sick to his stomach and we had to get off at the next station. ended up waiting for 30 minutes (tears) We safely arrived at our next destination, Seto Hare. Husband, are you okay? My husband saw it on YouTube's Bakido channel and got curious about it. Fresh and chewy udon noodles... Jururi It's a pity that there is no conger tempura today Is that the sound of udon being cut? I heard that there is no aosa tempura either... I wonder if I'll try it (fidgeting)Oh, it's begun Watching for a while It becomes a rectangle before you know it! I'm typing this in between cooking so I'm not busy...! They're boiling freshly made meat. I waited in line for an hour and finally got in. Since I had no prior information, the impact of the kakiage with ground octopus was amazing. I wonder how many pieces of kakiage it would be... This is Ikagoten. My husband couldn't wait and waited while holding his chopsticks. Where did that stomach ache go from earlier... I had some meat bukkake. The noodles are so chewy This must be as chewy as the reputation says ! ! This is both soft and elastic. It's squishy and delicious! ! The meat is also delicious... Well, I'm satisfied with the delicious food I received. On my way home, I thought it would be better to eat now. Finally, the next part is leaving Switzerland with Air France. Ah, I'm so excited.
I went to Shodoshima.
