Eating The Freshest Tuna In Japan. #tokyo #sushi #foryou

This is everything I ate at the Tsukiji Fish Market. I wanted to go early to beat the tourists, but I overslept, so I had to settle fighting them for a spot at this viral tuna sushi spot. I was in line to get the freshest tuna when suddenly I got a tap on the shoulder by a grumpy Italian lady telling me that I cut her in line. I think she conned me into letting her go in front of me, but I didn’t care because I was mesmerized by the girl with the mini samurai sword slicing the tuna. After waiting 15 minutes, I got my fatty and lean tuna sushi combo delivered right in front of me to devour. The color looked like candy, and with a little dunk in the soy sauce, I ate a piece, and it was silky smooth, melted like butter in my mouth. I then walked across the hallway, following the scent of coriander and soy sauce in the air, and discovered that it came from a massive pot of boiling beef stew. That cauldron looked like it’s been boiling since the age of the samurai, and they just kept adding ingredients, piling up the flavors for years. The simplicity of this dish blew me away with just the beef stew, rice, and poached egg needed to make the fat kid in me weep with joy. This is the ultimate comfort food eaten alongside strangers on the side of the road. And with every bite, it made me wonder, what’s for dessert? The answer came as I walked 10 feet to the left, and it was a place that serves matcha avagato. What a great way to slip away from the mob of people slowly increasing by the minute as I sit here and enjoy
