surviving jet lag on my first day in tokyo #travel #tokyo #japantravel

So, I took an overnight flight and landed in Tokyo at 6:00 a.m. Did some essentials, got cash, and then I thought, “What now?” Funny story, there’s actually a spot at the airport, but then I felt like I maybe just wanted to go into the city, but I think that would have been a really good option if I was super tired. At this point, I’d been 28 hours without a shower, but you just got to keep pushing. Once I ate my first Exando, I knew I could go home because I’d accomplished everything I wanted to do. everything. Went to a quiet cafe, but that wasn’t the best because it kind of made me sleepy. Pika pika. So, funny story. If you forget your glasses, you can go to the mall, go to this place, and get glasses within like a day or two. But if you want like the special lenses, you need like a week. I love the sushi in Japan. Really not big on shopping, but I love graphic te’s. This was my prenap coffee.

landed at 6am, made it until hotel check-in at 3pm, with lots of snacking and coffee
