Togakushi Shrine : Osaka – Tokyo Tour Pt.9

Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Come here. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat.

Togakushi Shrine

After enjoying Shirakawa-go, we crossed the Northern Alps and headed to Nagano!
It was quite a long journey, but we made sure to visit Togakushi Shrine.
Togakushi Shrine, located in Nagano City, is an ancient and sacred site said to have been founded about 2,000 years ago.
Five shrines are scattered throughout a lush forest, collectively known as the “Togakushi Five Shrines.”
Among them, the path leading to the Okusha (Inner Shrine), lined with towering cedar trees over 400 years old, is truly breathtaking.
Closely connected to the myth of Amano-Iwato (the Heavenly Rock Cave), Togakushi has long been known as a powerful spiritual spot attracting countless visitors.
Surrounded by tranquility and nature, the shrine offers a deeply peaceful atmosphere that refreshes both mind and soul.
