OSAKA, Oct 15: Kuwait’s Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has earned global recognition, clinching four prestigious awards from Exhibitor magazine, a leading U.S. publication specializing in international exhibitions and conferences.

Kuwait’s Commissioner General to the Expo, Salem Al-Watyan, hailed the achievement as a proud moment for the nation, calling it a testament to Kuwait’s creativity and innovation on the world stage.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Watyan revealed that the pavilion was awarded first place for “Best Storytelling,” recognizing its compelling narrative that bridges Kuwait’s past, present, and future.

Alongside the top honor, the pavilion also secured three honorary awards:

“Best Interactive Experience,” celebrating its engaging and innovative visitor activities;“Best Staff,” acknowledging the Kuwaiti team’s excellence in communication and hospitality; And “Best Use of Technology,” highlighting the use of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence in showcasing the pavilion’s content.

“These awards are international validation of Kuwait’s forward-thinking vision and cultural presence,” Al-Watyan stated, emphasizing the alignment of the pavilion’s achievements with Kuwait Vision 2035, particularly in the areas of development, technology, and the arts.

He credited the success to the ongoing support from Kuwait’s leadership and the active follow-up by Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.

Al-Watyan further noted that Exhibitor magazine has been a prominent authority in the exhibitions industry for over four decades. Its awards are considered second only to those of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), owing to their rigorous evaluation standards in design, innovation, interactivity, and technological advancement.

Concluding his remarks, Al-Watyan said the awards reflect Kuwait’s positive image in international forums and reaffirm its role as a leader in delivering a comprehensive cultural, educational, and human experience at Expo 2025 Osaka, praising the efforts of all team members who contributed to the pavilion’s success.
