Tokyo, Japan – iKala Group, operator of the AI-powered influencer marketing platform Kolr, has announced a strategic partnership with REECH, an influencer marketing platform in Japan. The collaboration aims to help Japanese brands reach global audiences by enabling REECH customers to discover, analyse, and connect with influencers in more than 190 countries.

The agreement, signed between iKala Media Interactive Inc., a member of the iKala Group, and REECH, will be implemented and promoted locally by iKala Japan, the group’s independent legal entity in the country.

Beginning October 15, the integration between the two platforms will provide REECH users with access to Kolr’s global influencer database, which includes more than 300 million influencers and 6 billion data points.

The partnership comes as more Japanese brands look to expand overseas. Studies indicate that nearly 80% of Japanese companies are either already pursuing international growth or plan to do so, with over half identifying market intelligence as a key challenge.

Sega Cheng, co-founder and CEO of iKala, said, “REECH’s standing in Japan makes them an invaluable partner, and we are eager to work together to help Japanese businesses thrive internationally. This collaboration marks an important milestone in expanding our footprint in Japan and underscores our commitment to building more local partnerships in the market.”

Meanwhile, Toru Ogasawara, president & CEO of REECH Japan, commented, “We are very excited about this partnership. Through this collaboration, we will provide world-class search, analysis, and recommendation capabilities optimised for the Japanese market, accelerating the advancement of influencer marketing in Japan. We aim to support the global growth of Japanese companies from both a tool and operational perspective, and continuously raise the bar of the market. Our collaboration with iKala marks an important milestone in further strengthening our community-based partnerships.”
