[1/3]Hokkaido Furano Trip Part 1: A 4-Day Journey in Sapporo, Furano, and Otaru

This is Sapporo, right? If you come to Furano, this is a must-visit place. There are seven of us, but there’s no space to load the golf bags. The very back seat can fit about one person. It seems like the back car is a better option than the front one. This hotel room is just the right size. Wow, this place is nice. Dassai, Dassai sake is really good. There’s so much food here. Are there people in Furano who would eat this much? Mackerel Chicken skin I’m already drunk. The scent of flowers here is amazing. Grilled atka mackerel Hello, today I have a travel plan for Sapporo. It’s around 5:20 AM.
I’m planning to take the bus today. Since Incheon Airport is Terminal 2, the parking lot is quite far from the airport. I figured it would be better to take a direct bus,
so I’m taking the airport bus today. Anyway, let’s get going.
I’m at the airport bus stop. Just scanning the QR code, and it comes right out. I’ve arrived at the airport.
I’m heading to section C now. It looks like there’s a separate place for loading golf bags. So I’m moving to the counter that allows golf bags. There are so many people here. I’m walking around Terminal 2 of Incheon Airport now. Terminal 2 is really well-built. I was here not long ago.
There’s a food court, Dunkin’ Donuts, and lots of places to eat. I had to take care of some urgent work.
I also edited two YouTube videos for uploading. It looks like all the setup is done. Then, I sent emails for customer lecture requests and
completed two ongoing projects for our clients. Now I’m heading to board the plane.
Once I get to Hokkaido, I’ll be away from work for a while,
but I’m always ready to jump back in. That’s why I always carry my laptop in my backpack. Anyway, flying makes me feel excited as always. Korean Air in-flight meal This reminds me of my first trip to Japan. Now I’ve passed immigration and
I’m heading to baggage claim. I was the first to get out.
Let’s start the trip and enjoy it! Ta-da! First, I’m heading to pick up the rental car. The temperature is around 18-24°C now. I heard this is the best season for Hokkaido’s weather. There are seven of us, but there’s not enough space to load the golf bags. If one person sits in the back seat, it might work.
It looks like the back car is better than the front one. Even if the front car is spacious,
there’s no middle seat, so all seven of us can’t fit. Now, I’m about to start driving. I hope I can do well. There’s no place to put my phone for navigation, so that’s a bit worrying. But I drove fine during my Japan trip two months ago,
so I’ll manage this time too. We arrived at a rest stop.
Japanese rest stops are really small. Unlike in Korea, there are almost no buildings here. The only store here is this tiny one. The store is quite small. I wonder what they sell here. Oh, they even have vegetables! That’s interesting. Looks delicious. Wow, they even sell corn. Exploring the store They’re selling some interesting things.
Do they really sell stuff like this? They have ice cream too. This place is fascinating. Chicken, bread I’ll try one. Japan has such beautiful skies since it’s an island country. No fine dust from China.
It would be nice to live in Japan for a month every summer. Chicken karaage Today’s main activity is just eating. We’ve arrived at the lavender fields. Since we need to park, I’ll head to the parking lot first. This is Sapporo, right? If you visit Furano,
this is a place you must visit. Today, I’m at a place called Tomita Farm in Furano. When is the peak bloom season for flowers here? Did we come a bit early before full bloom? A dragonfly! I came here on July 25th,
but I think the peak season was around the 15th. Next time, I’ll try to visit during the peak bloom season. I hope you all get to visit when it’s at its best, too. I feel a bit disappointed.
I expected the kind of atmosphere you see in movies or on TV,
but it’s not quite like that. It turns out the best timing was just before we arrived.
That’s a shame. It would have been great if I could have shown you all
a truly beautiful scene. At least this area still has some vibrant, colorful flowers. The scent of the flowers is amazing. This seems like a perfect place to visit early in the morning
for a romantic date while holding hands. Traveling from Furano to here
doesn’t take as long as I thought. It’s just a 13-minute drive, very close!
Only 9 km left. 9 km more, and we’ll have a delicious dinner. FARMTOMITA Arrived at the hotel! Wow, the countryside is so nice. Can you see this? The environment is so clean and beautiful,
and it feels really nice here. The city looks so neat.
It seems like there are a lot of tourists today. (Background sound) The size is just right. Looks like we have a road view. Wow, it’s nice. This is a filming location in Hokkaido,
called “Love Rain” (Sarangbi). The sun is setting. Isn’t it beautiful?
That building over there says “Furano.” It seems to be some kind of activity center. I feel so happy to be able to see such a beautiful sunset. Right? What do you think, everyone? Fortunately, there is plenty of food.
Restaurant name: Hokkaido Fully booked! No seats available. (Waiting for 10 minutes) Here, you have to take off your shoes. How did you know about this place? Dassai sake is really good.
All the alcohol on this menu is high-quality. This is the most popular sake in Korea. Why is this highball so big? Oh, they put butter in here. One by one… Now it’s time for a delicious dinner. Cheers! Butter This is such a great idea. Cucumber dish. Made with cucumber, miso, and seaweed. Dassai sake. Boiled octopus sashimi. I just kept eating silently. Grilled mackerel as a side dish is here. My favorite, dumplings, have arrived. Fried shrimp is here. Chicken karaage. If you visit Furano, you must come to this restaurant. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). Yakitori. They have cocktails and highballs too. Chicken skin. I’m already too drunk.
I don’t think I can drink any more today. I’m drunk. Wow, it’s so cool here.
You don’t even need air conditioning in this area. There are no convenience stores nearby,
so in Hokkaido’s Furano, you have to cross this bridge. Make sure to visit the convenience store in advance. This overpass looks like something straight out of a Japanese movie. There’s so much food here.
Do that many people in this area actually buy and eat all of this? I found an 18+ magazine in Japan. Interesting. “Sure, this one’s mine.”
Can I really eat Shin Ramyun? I’m already so full. This is how the first day ended. Since it’s the first video, it was a bit short,
but from tomorrow, more fun videos will be uploaded. Please watch them a lot! All related information and details
are added in the description box, so please check it out.
