Ok so the ingredients say it contains pectin which is basically vegan gelatin but at the end of ingredients list it says in brackets (may contain gelatin) so I am confused if it's talking about the pectin or some other gelatin.
My answer may be inadequate, but I hope it is helpful. While UHA has obtained a Halal certification, it predominately only certifies export products. Unless the product specifically calls it out, it is likely not. Mainly due to the use of beef derived gelatins with the majority of their products sold in Japan proper, including their health products.

There’s even a page talking about this here –> [https://paulonia.tokyo/useful-for-travel/is-uha-mikakuto-in-japan-halal-what-is-the-precaution-for-their-products/](https://paulonia.tokyo/useful-for-travel/is-uha-mikakuto-in-japan-halal-what-is-the-precaution-for-their-products/)
Disclaimer: I am not Muslim, but the post felt lonely, and I did a little research on how UHA handles Halal certification
