Pavilion praised for blending national heritage with sustainable design and interactive experiences.
Jordan won two gold awards at a ceremony organized by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) during Expo 2025 Osaka.
These awards recognized Jordan in the categories of Pavilion Content Development and Sustainability for medium-sized pavilions.
As the only participant winning two gold awards in this edition, Jordan’s pavilion stood out for innovative integration of its rich history with a forward-looking vision, featuring sustainable design and interactive media that showcase the country’s natural beauty and cultural diversity.
Dr. Abdulrazzak Arabiat, Commissioner General of the Jordan Pavilion, described the achievement as a national pride that reflects the creativity of the Jordanian team and youth.
He emphasized that the pavilion successfully delivered a unique experience combining national identity, environmental innovation, and sustainability.
“This victory is a true achievement for Jordan and a culmination of collaborative work by state institutions and the Tourism Board, with direct support from His Majesty King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II,” Arabiat said.
Jordan’s win came after strong competition with over 165 participating countries, reinforcing its status as a premier international cultural and tourist destination.
