Kayoicho Park is a secret cherry blossom gem where you can see a million blossoms without a million other people next to you.
Kayoicho Park (駕与丁公園) is also well known for its rose garden – one of the biggest in Fukuoka Prefecture. It’s a large area that surrounds the Kayoicho Pond, and it makes a great place to unwind. It’s also easy to visit (get off at Chojabaru Stn) on the way to see one of Japan’s greatest yet unknown temples, Nanzoin:

You can also see the large white Kasuya Dome in the background.
If you want to know why somebody is tending a few roosters by the park, I have no clue.
